dude thank u so much i recently changed my wall and stair keybinds to my mouse buttons and all i could do before this video was 90s and half assed triple ramp rushes but now i can do everything i could do on my old binds and more
I've been using my 2 mouse side buttons for wall/ramp for years now. I was consistent with what I could do, but I felt like I wasnt really improving with building/editing speed for the last few years actually. I'm just changed my wall keybind from side mouse button to Q and instantly after 5 minutes I already felt like I had way more speed in me. (Still practicing the consistency but its getting along decently) I think this is just something personal maybe my fingers cant keep up with the mouse buttons. Just wanted to mention this. My keybinds right now are Edit = E Wall = Q Ramp = Mouse side button Floor = V Cone = Shift

used to have qrvz as my build binds, changed that to shift, v and 2 mouse buttons, it's so difficult to adapt, especially with sprinting now at caps lock
do you think i should change off the f1’s? i’ve gotten insanely good with them and been using them for 6 years but i do think they’re holding me back a lot
And think man have you really gotten insanely good? You can do this, if you were insanely good you would be known as a fn player. Just take the time to adjust stop worry about being prime mongraal for 3 WEEKS and I promise it will pay off
bro im stuck on default keybinds and the only thing ive changed is reset edit to scroll wheel to reset. I have to use my index finger for every time i place a build which makes me much slower and idk what to do.
Im still trying to get used to my new keybinds but my 6-7 year muscle memory from my old binds is not helping

same but after just freebuilding for like 1 hour it is getting way better
