Your last video like this one pushed me to switching over to my iPad completely, from a ThinkPad notebook. There are some things I miss about using a notebook such as the ThinkPad keyboard but in all honesty, I can do everything I need to do using an iPad now. I just wish connecting up to a large monitor was better - the replication of the 4:3 ratio is quite annoying. I'm not a fan of Shiftscreen. Thanks again!

Did you turn on the setting Full Keyboard Access? Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards, tap Full Keyboard Access, then turn on Full Keyboard Access. I'm sure Tab + L will work for locking the screen.
And you can also look at the shortcuts. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Full Keyboard Access > Commands. You can there see your shortcut for 'lock screen'. I hope this helps! Good luck👍
Have you tries plug in USB donggle to ipad? The Cap lock will stop working or not. Without doggle its work fine. I tried many other bluetooh keyboard besides this logitech model, and all same issue. Need to unplug then plug in back the dongle to let apps recognised cap lock function..

@@MindyC, hi, thank you for the answer. My question was more for split view, when, for example you are using two safari windows. Sometimes you get lost when both windows have a blinking cursor! I found that if you press globe+' you switch between windows. The problem is that the K380 has the globe key only accessible via Fn, so it doesn't work. So I changed the CTRL key to act as a globe, and then the magic happened! (sorry for my english, I'm from Brazil)

Having the same problem, instead of taking a screenshot it locks the iPad and open again. I think the function in the keyboard has been changed. Anyways we can use the cmd shift 4 for the screenshot

Hi thanks for the tutorial. I am using iPad for the first time and having difficulties in using keyboard k380 for navigating especially in any spreadsheet. For example, I couldnt use the arrow keys to move between cells or even single click to fill a cell. Do you have any experience? I’ll really appreciate that
I noticed this as well when I use Microsoft Excel web app version, not the downloadable app. I can only move around cells if I use the touch screen. This does not seem to happen when I use Google Sheets whether it’s the app or the web app. 🤷
I just purchased K380 keyboard. I try to type the whole notes with the uppercase and I do not want to use the Shift key. Can someone show me the steps how to lock the Caps Lock and get the uppercase. Thank you.

I have the same keyboard as you but the function keys are different. F6 looks like small blocks trying to fit and F7 looks like it should be the app switcher. Neither of these work when I tap or double tap on them and I would really like them to function. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello! I have a question about the keyboard. My dad suprised me with the same keyboard and I´ve been using it for a few weeks now. At first it was ok but then as I used it more, the special keys somehow keep switching with other keys when I type. I am currently writing a script for a project and this has been slowing me down. For example, when I press shift and the plus key, it does this, ¿. The period and and comma button doesn´t seem to be affected, but then when I press shift plus the comma key, it does this, ;. Anyway, I love your videos and it all has been useful in helping me navigating the K380 keyboard!

Logitech folio seems nice too! Indeed big difference physically, price and function. I guess depends then on what type of work you do. Good luck in choosing! 😉
I have a logitech K380 keyboard that I use with my iPad Pro. It was great until all of a sudden it wouldn’t type letters any longer and if I hit the enter key it opens Safari at the last used webpage. I contacted logitech but they couldn’t help me but sent me a new keyboard. I set up the new keyboard and the exact same thing is happening. However I tried it on my old iPad Air and it works just fine. Therefore I assume that’s the problem has to do with the iPad Pro but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to fix it.
that is indeed weird! 🤔 if the k380 is working well with your iPad Air then it could be a setting in your iPad Pro that causes this problem. Have you compared the keyboard settings between your iPads? As I have not heard of such issue before, maybe try to turn off Full Keyboard Access if it’s on and see if it fixes the issue. Good luck! 😉

Checkout the k380 specs and system requirements www.logitech.com/en-us/products/keyboards/k380-multi-device.920-009599.html I guess as long as you have the compatible iOS it should work.

@Rache .. I had the same problem with the iPad Air 4. For locking the screen use Tab + L instead of fn + L. This will work!

if I understand you correctly, cmd + tab will let you switch between the 2 apps.

I just tested and the combination of optn +/= zooms in my goodnotes page. try to hold on cmd key and see if it’s the same shortcut for you.

if you press the Caps lock key it should work. If it’s not working for you, check the Modifier Keys settings in your iPad.

you can exit full screen with the Esc key but it works only in RUclips when watching via the browser, not the app.

I guess you're using an iPad? Try using fn + ins🌐 (found at the top right beside delete). Or try the Caps lock. 👍🏻
