James, I just watched your 'must & have to' video from November 2008 (which reminded me of shall vs will, but that's another topic). In any case I was hoping you could address a peculiarity I have noticed with some English language learners when expressing the negative: They seem to think that because "must" and "have to" can be used interchangeably THEN "must not" and "do not have to" are also synonyms, which is NOT the case. To illustrate: they would say "You children don't have to play in the street" - which implies some kind of benign choice, whereas "You children mustn't play in the street" is the compulsory command they are trying to express. Can you PLEASE address this, because I have noticed it is confusing for some people. Thank you!
I wanted to say thank you for your videos. My english teacher in high school told me ,that because I have dyslexia I will never have be able to wright well.
Hello teacher. If we want to figure out the possibility of happening something, which sturecture do we use then? Ex. Does the transistor need to return the signal to the generator? Or do I use a have for the same question?
Hi James, Coud you to include in your list for the coming classes the verb "GET"? Sometimes there are situations where I don't know if I NEED to use GET or HAVE... For example, in this class you used "GET Benefict" and this is a kind of mistake I make!!! Best regards Luiz Machado
