Hello can you please explain what is Step clearance in tandem type compressor
Why flywheel in Air compressor & not in AC compressor ??
Flywheel is required to store energy which it can dissipate when it again require by system to drive.
As air compressor having 4 different stages,
Energy is store in 3 stage so that it can be provided during compression stage.hence. Flywheel required.
Air conditioning compressor is driven by belt drive ,
the belt drive of a.c compressor having heavy pulley to accommodate the belt(3-4 in no.s) these compensate the requirements of flywheel in a.c compressor.
