    I'm back with a Deep Progressive House tutorial. In this video I show you how to make Deep Progressive House Like Alex O'Rion & Dmitry Molosh and labels like Sudbeat, Meanwhile, Mango Alley and Replug. I'll walkthrough exactly what makes up a deep progressive house track, including the sound design and midi programming. You can also download the full project including free deep progressive house bass patterns and free deep progressive house bass presets from my Patreon. As the tittle says, this is an Alex O'Rion tutorial and a Dmitry Molosh tutorial, but... For everyone looking for a Cid Inc. tutorial or GMJ and Matter tutorial, this one's for you too!

    It is beyond believable how closely you’re able to replicate tracks from different artist and DIFFERENT GENRES…
    Not just arrangement vise, even the “sound” , whether it’s sound design or mixing technics, your ability to match it so closely is unbelievable.
    I’ve struggled with coming up with different grooves depending on genre and I’ve learned so much thanks to you…
    Thank you!

    Hi mate, great video as always - thank you.
    Question, do you usually create the whole drum pattern (including all the small perc and details) before moving on to the other elements like bass, pads, etc? or do you first create the basic drum pattern, move on to other elements and then go back to the drums and add all the call and response details?

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  Год назад

      Basic drums, then the main elements, then the drum details so that they compliment the main "personality" of the track.

    Did you use a reference for this track or were you more intuitive with your drums. I'm finding that although I like using reference tracks, it kind of puts me in a box because I try replicating everything instead of being creative

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  4 месяца назад

      I always use reference tracks. But I use them as a guide not a blueprint. It is something to refer back to to so I can check I'm on the right path.
      When I make these videos I use between 2 and 4 references to get a general idea of the sound. I might pull specific things from them here and there if a type of sound or melodic pattern etc is very synonymous with a particular artist.
