@@imane8736 very beautiful city! I actually needed just 4 days to see the main attractions, but depends on what you want to see. I can definitely recommend it
because i am just finishing high school i want to go on a trip to copenhagen and london but well because of when uni starts in my country i would only be able to over like nov to jan what would you suggest for these times (i already plan on watching a superligaen game if they are on
Sounds like a great plan! Of course, it's cold in those months. December is nice though, as there is a lot of Christmas vibes and markets and so on. I would try to do more indoor activities as well, compared to if visiting in Summer. So museums, cafes and so on (I will make future videos on what to do in Copenhagen in Winter). The Superliga is on holiday during December and January! There might be a match or two early December, but November is your best bet to catch a match here.
@@thenordicadam I realise as much but because of well wanting to be home for Christmas among other things so gonna try see the team I follow play a friendly or something over latter part of jan if I can
It'll be cold in january, but propably not freezing, but be prepared for rainy overcast short days. In january sunrise is around 8 and sunset around 4 in the afternoon. And the Superliga isnt on in january, and Tivoli gardens will be closed as well.
@@KlausKokholmPetersen not sure if Tivoli will be open but well now I am going like first week of Feb unfortunately before the superliga is on I will have to come back or do exchange sometime to try catch my team luckily through the winter where I am we have slightly longer days but I am accustomed to dark winter nights tho not as cold as I anticipate it to be
Hi, no, it's not true. You can pay with cash in Copenhagen. It's essentially required by law that shops accept cash (some street markets etc. don't have to though). It's just that not a lot of Danes use cash anymore.
Honestly, don't travel to places you can't afford. Living in crummy hostels and not eating proper restaurant meals just ruins the experience in my opinion. I suppose it's different if you are backpacking and THAT is the goal of your trip but I'd never travel just for the sake of travel without the proper budget.
for a cheaper stay you can check out steelhouse and next house, there are very central in Copenhagen, and have affordable prices.
I'll visit Copenhagen next week and I'm so excited. Thanks for your tipps Adam!
That's awesome, Vince! Enjoy your trip :)
how was it? any tips?

I have a 8 hour layover in Copenhagen and I hope it is enough time to explore and take a few photos.
Absolutely! It's quick and easy to get to the city center should be plenty of time to enjoy the city a bit. Enjoy!
Careful, we had 24 hours in Copenhagen last year and now we can’t stay away. We’ll be back for another week tomorrow! 😂
The train ride from the airport to the central station is less than 15 minutes, so you could easily ge t around 5 hours for exploring.
This is very informative. Thanks Adam 🙏
Happy it was useful! Thanks for watching 🙏
Interesting you mentioned couchsurfing... do people still use that? I stopped using CS when they went the greed way.
The ticket from the airport to the city centre is 30 DKK, not 25! And remember the busses DO sell tickets, but it is CASH only!
True! There has been a general price increase in public transportation since I made this video 👎
Is it worth walking along the coast to the center? While visiting the aquarium

Oh no! I thought May was as a good month to go. 😢
It is! I think that's what I say; that May is probably the perfect time to go :)
@@thenordicadamThanks! I misheard and thought you said through May instead of until May. This is proof of how much I need that upcoming vacation. 😂
