While actually cool water is the best Davidoff fragrance in terms of most popular, in actuality it’s not thee “best”, fame doesn’t mean it is and underrated ones should not be overlooked, because grapefruit & sage (a fresh take) and oceanic (a summer/beach take) are great cool water flankers! They are different so feels like you’re wearing something new, not common so ppl will wonder what you’re wearing and smell completely different from cool water but nonetheless great! Night dive, intense and parfum version are different and decent as well. try them but go in as if you are trying a new line released instead of just comparing to cool water or as if you are trying them out oldies or just flankers. Forget the rest.
I wore Cool water in the early 90’s. In fact everyone wore it. Smelt great. At that time I had no idea it was inspired by GIT. I now can’t smell GIT without thinking it’s just an expensive Cool water. My bad.

I just happen to have a bottle of Davidoff cool water that I can remember how I acquired and I never found anything to beat it, including the David Beckham Classic.
I don't know if it is original because the lettering is faded but it just has "Mild Deodorant Doux" written on the bottom of the bottle.
Sounds like an old one!
hello, can you suggest me which one I should choose from cw parfum or cw reborn (I have ajmal kuro which is know as sauvage clone) PS: I have never used original sauvage?
Original is the best by far, Its been reformulated a thousand times bit is still lovely and great for the price point 🎯💯

I've been wearing the original cool water since 30 years non-stop so it became my signature perfume, although along other perfumes occasionally. However, I noticed since 1 or 2 years ago the scent has been drastically diluted and the price almost doubled. To me it became now like basically water and alcohol with a faint trace of the original, no matter how much I spray and of course it doesn't last few seconds. Am I the only one??
I think it’s definitely become weaker over time. You can still buy older bottles on eBay and such places for quite cheap
Just got a new wallflower refill from bath and bodywork’s and it has my restroom smelling like Cool Water Cologne 😂…i haven’t thought about cool water since high school 😂
Cool Water original is the best, but I've had several other variants that were also good. However I didn't really like the Hot Water version, it smelled kinda like cough syrup to me.
Cool Water is a great line because of the value for money they offer. I haven’t tried Hot Water yet!

Love the parfum, it’s only a slightly similar smell to sauvage but after a while especially on clothes it’s goes a bit similar to bdc. Realy great smell overall

I was disappointed by the original Davidoff cool water but when i bought the intense one i was really impressed now it's my favourite everyday fragrance

I swear that the Cool Water I used to buy in the 90s lasted much longer than today's Cool Water.... I could spray a couple squirts on a hoodie, and I could always still smell it on the sweater for a day or two afterwards, but that's not the case any longer.
