Hey bro just wondering if the lip is stamped with any Honda markings in the insides? I have a Mugen front lip but can’t seem to find any Honda stamps. It looks oem quality but can’t find any markings lol
Do you think this bumper would fit my 2009 coupe si I’m going for full mugen kit on a coupe ive never seen it done before it I’m willing to do slight modifications
Its not a bumper its the lower diffuser that attaches to the stock bumper cover..im not sure if the fg2 coupe uses the same rear bumper as the fa5 4door, you might be better off running the HFP kit i know they made them for the coupe!
@@JesseK410 thx bro I meant to say lip. I know the mugen style isn’t made for the coupe but I’m trying to see if I can make it work. Might end up going with rear hfp lip it don’t look too bad
@@Caped.Customs So i think you would be better off going HfP seeing how we know it works and it would probably suck to pay close to a grand for a Mugen si diffuser and then either have to cut it up or not even be able to use it, there super hard to find now n days I dont think you can buy this new anymore bc it’s discontinued
@@Caped.Customs personally on the coupe i love the look of the full HFP kit but im sure it would look good either way..there’s actually a full blue HFP kit on ebay rite now for sale
No unfortunately this was only made for the 8th gen, 2008 mugen si edition and only can get it if you own a real mugen, most honda dealers wont sell it unless u provide your vin #…but yeah the 9th gen rear bumper cover is different than the 8th gens.
Either at the Honda dealership or from someone on the preowned market its a OEM part not aftermarket! Very expensive and they may actually be discontinued now.
Dumb question that I think I know the answer to I’m gonna get a 8th gen as my first car but unfortunately the SI Is out my budget would this fit the EX and would Honda still sell it to me since I don’t have a SI
Honestly im pretty sure you need to have the vin number from your mugen si its not off the regular Si it comes on the 2008 mugen si that only was made in USA and 1000 were produced. The dealers usually wont sell it unless you prove you own a mugen. But best bet is to try and find one preowned off marketplace or something.
Unfortunately not, its made for the 4 door bumper covers not the coupe and more specifically was designed for the 08 Mugen Si.. its part of the “mugen” bodykit
lorenzo rosales i got it by taking the car to my local Honda dealership and using my VIN # i can order anything i need for replacement parts for it..I recently painted the engine bay, jams and outside so i wanted to replace anything that had any sort of damaged on it. The cars essentially flawless now. 👌🏼🤙🏼
I just drove to a Honda dealership and bought it directly from them i can’t remember exactly how much i payed but I believe it was like $960 after 30% off
You can get it by going to your local Honda dealership with your Mugen and they will hook you rite up. I went to AutoFair Honda also known as AFHKparts..i know that some dealers wont sell you the Mugen parts unless you actually own one and have the VIN number to it..my original one was cracked and the rubber was old so i just purchased a brand new one, they also come painted from the factory witch is awesome! I can’t remember how much i payed but somewhere around $700-800 im pretty sure. Unfortunately i dont have a link sorry about that..
