Womens' shoes have traditionally been adapted from a men's shoe instead of being designed from the ground up for women.

I don’t for the life of me understand this. They’ve been making athletic shoes for women since before I can even remember and I’m 40 years old. What the heck are they trying to get at?

I honestly wonder why companies constantly push this women empowerment through a shoe commercial. Are women THAT fragile that we have to constantly uplift them?

THANK YOU! My first thought was “it’s a shoe advert, why is it so feminist?” And I just thought there was no need to make something like shoes a feminist move

As a woman I find the amount of BS in this video very offensive! You saw women impowerment movements (which are supposed to help women who have ACTUALLY been victims of sexism) and saw an opportunity.
Btw I’m perfectly comfortable in all my sneakers.
And i do not need fake emotional support from a shoe commercial

  • @Ipadairpro8636

And they are not comfortable for wide feet. I am not sorry since not ALL women are thin and having slim or narrow feet.
