For his fantastic skills - including the approach - that NavEdits shows in so many video tutorials here on the platform, this exceptional photo editing artist should have at least 20 million subs worldwide!
I really tried it, and it's amazing. Before it was too hard for me to change the sky with masking , and now it's really easy . Thanks a lot for the tutorial .👍
I m a small time photo editor but I feel so alive watching Ur work, I m so much thankful 4 Ur tutorials and the Snapseed app... I requested earlier to plx use full screen videos as before, this PIP effect videos makes things very small in mobile phone... Xubi
I understand. For portrait oriented pictures, I use this method so that there is not much to zoom while editing and everything happens on screen. For landscape oriented images, I go full screen.
Great editing. You were the one to get me into editing, by proofing that you don't need the best and most complicated softwares to make some awesome edits. Keep up the great work, and thank you for your time. The only thing I can't get in my head is when to use which option in double exposure. When do you use lighten, darken, add or substact?
Thank you so much! Regarding blending modes, it is a hit & miss for me unless the background is Black or White. In Snapseed, it is more designed for filters kind of effects. This is how vaguely it is defined officially "Double Exposure allows you to blend two photos and choose from blending modes that are inspired by analog film techniques as well as digital image processing. "
@@NavEditsOfficial thank you very much for your answer. I'll keep trying aroung then. The black and white technique indeed seems to be the best way though :)
NavEdits is the best channel...he simply explains the editing process and never goes of the topic..just pure editing tutorial...was one of the earliest subscribers of your channel....feels good to see so much progress ❤️❤️
Great technique but keep in mind not every image will lend itself to a nice separation of black and white. You may need to use the brush in some areas still. 👍
Love your videos, they bring out the full potential of Snapseed. I ran into one problem with this technique and that was one of replacing the sky when trees/leaves were in the foreground. There was a lot of blue fringing left around the leaves. Any suggestions.
Amazing sir. Is it possible to add the sky using only double exposure and masking? In the sense just scale the sky to the original image and using brush and double exposure just mask it to get the same effect? What's the difference
Just subscribed yesterday to your channel because your editing is just plain amazing! And you are just using free software (Snapseed and Lightroom) and i'm so grateful and of course many people out there because you are sharing your talent and learnings to us! I'm very happy with this channel and i'll stick till the very end and watch your new videos if ever uploaded. - John
Snapseed has its own limitations. It should work in some particular instances like in the video. If there are too many details around the edges, it could be difficult. Regarding white spots, you can try turning it to Black and use masking to brush over it. Used a similar trick in this video ruclips.net/video/HYlAfy2j_Oo/видео.html
Very educational and inspiring. I have been attempting the double exposure but have run into a problem... When choosing the 2nd photo.. I cannot select any images from the snapseed folder.. All greyed out.. But the other folders are fine. Even if I shift a photo from the snapseed folder to another folder it still comes greyed out. Any thoughts?
Sir maine v kuch photographs click kiya h phone se and usko snapseed se retouch kiya h Agar aap mobile photography me intrested ho to mai apko kuch photographs dikhana chahta hu I love ur photography and editing❤️
Have been watching you when you had only 20K subs, amazing content as always, learned all my editing from you. Thanks!
Thank you for all the support :)

There is a book on photography freely available at davidsalomon.name/ where the double exposure modes are explained in page 1080.
actually, page 1070
@@MrDsalomon books are complicated i rather prefer watching videos on any editing platform and just understand the concept
