I got rid of my 13 year old Weber Genesis and bought this instead. After 2 years, still a great decision.

I have an older GMG Daniel Boone. I have used it and loved it. I cannot get a 110 volt igniter (made in China Crap) for my GMG. Tried ordering from Amazon and local dealer. GMG canceled the purchase order stating that they may not ever be able to get them again. I will never buy another GMG product or any pellet grill!!

Fair question! At home we have a Smoking Brothers 30 Premier Plus pellet smoker, Primo XL Ceramic, PK GO, K4L Drum and a homemade offset smoker I picked up off of FB.

@Anderson BBQ Supply nice! Have not heard of them. I'm in CA and we seem to have a lot of traeger, pitboss, GMG and masterbuilt. And between all of those I was I thinking about get the GMG Ledge...

Nice smoker but lost me at 12v power source. Why not mains power. Who is going to bother carting that thing anywhere and having 12v charged batteries or a generator on hand?

My sons own 3 of them, they all have a factory 110 volt power supply that plugs in to provide the 12 volts. No shock hazard with the grill operating on 12 volts D.C..

The 12v direct power design allows the computer to control temperatures better. The power cord has a converter to plug into a 110 outlet. Sorry for the confusion.
