This works great! I think that the flares also kind of changed, looks good! The only thing is that it blocks some light entering the sensor, so you’ll be losing a couple of f. Stops. But is still worth it
Hahahaha gotta make sure of that! This video is strange if you watch it as a whole, but it also has to be self-contained for folks that want to watch one individual mod! :P
I have moded my Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 analog lens with nikon mount yesterday. Worked great although the old nikon mount is a little trickier with the aperture mechanism. Also declicked it. It is not the best lens in the world but still was an afford. Thx for all these tips and tricks Tito. Greetings from Germany
I really like the oval bokeh and flares off anamorphic lenses but most of the lenses have too strong flares imo. I like the decent flare of the great joy lenses. Is there any option to anamorfake a lens with a bit less flareing? Thanks 😊and like always nice video
good chance for entering the anamorphic world, but not perfect: because you don't have the special "trick" of the original anamorphic side relations.... thank you for the cover advice! 👍👍👍
Hey what’s up man first off I just wanna say great video enjoy the concert I have two questions the first question is. I want to get into anamorphic shooting. It will be my first time shooting anamorphic also. What should lenses should I try out maybe rent or even buy to-get a feel for it. The second question is kind of based on the first one. so moment (i’m pretty sure you know about them) which is another company. they’re coming out with a new anamorphic adapter. it seems very interesting and I was thinking about investing and backing into the project. But i’m a little hesitant.I currently shoot on the Panasonic S1 H and the BMPCC 4K with EF adapters. Being that this would be my Daily drivers do you think this will be a good investment that it would cost me nearly $1000 vs buying a lens do you think this is a good investment knowing that is my first time shooting in anamorphic? Once again thank you 💪🏾 🙏🏽
Do the oval inserts reduce the effective T stop? (and to different extents on full frame vs crop sensors?) Also, you mention a shop but I'm not seeing that page on your site. ?? Good stuff. 🤘
exact! I changed them 2-3 years ago, they work great!

For german users you might also want to look for "Walimex" lenses! They are the same as Rokinon or Samyang
Wow, thanks my friend, I already bought a Rokinon 24mm!!
Also: Make sure that the tape only sticks to the metal housing and not the glass itself!

Thanks for the great video! I was looking for your store but couldn't find it anywhere on your site. Is there a link to that?

@@AnamorphicOnABudget Thank you!
I have the rokinon 12mm and 16mm for m43! Thoughts on how anamorfaking would look for m43? My camera is panasonic lumix G85. Thank you!
Go for it! It's the same as a longer focal length on a bigger sensor, for all intents and purposes of the look.

Good stuff. 🤘
Inserts cut between one and two stops of light depending on the oval size. No changes based on sensor size.

Is the oval insert the same for every lens?
Or does each one has a different size ?
(In the same stretch factor of course)
Each one has a different size.
