Here i am back for a rewatch, no pun intended. I cannot get this watch out of my mind and as soon as a mint second hand one is available I'll be having it. I have worked with people from all over the world but i still cannot 100% place your accent ?. I love your channel buddy and please keep it up. Im absolutely convinced your channel is going to be huge. I really appreciate all the effort and time you put in. You totally deserve to be succesful as the passion for watches is palpable 👍
Aww thanks a lot John! I also am flattered about the accent. Some people tell me the same, others tell me the opposite (that it’s very obvious) but that when they already know that I’m…. Italian! Anyway, you’re right about this GS. It’s gorgeous and a great value. I was very lucky to find a pristine one at a great price. Let me see if I can find another good one!
I found an “unworn” one from an U.S. seller at the same price I paid for it (around 1.6k£ and negotiable). Write me at thewatchscore@gmail.com if interested and I’ll give you the address
@@TheWatchScore Ah Italiano, well the Romans gave us the modern world so it makes sense. 😊. I love your channel, you are a great presenter and you also know your business.👍
@@TheWatchScoremy friend I was re watching this video and I saw this message. I'm so sorry I honestly never saw this message. I wouldn't have had the disposable income at the time but I could have sold some gold. My benefits are starting to come in and I'm registered disabled now so next year I'm having one.👍
...and you could please tell me since when and where Citizen is building watches with quartz calibers which are more exact than Grand Seiko. Until now only GS has quarz caibers whith an accuracy of +/- 5 sec a year as a special edition.
Hi buddy, well you went and did it then !!!!!. Good for you, as for it being a quartz I say so what. Its accurate to seconds per year. I have my chronograph GMT spring drive and it's a ridiculous price for a watch. I have been looking at this model second hand also, I think it represent excellent value and is every bit a Grand Seiko. A watch you can wear every day to any occasion. I absolutely love it my friend.
Absolutely! Very classy and the sunray dial is surprisingly lively and deep, something that is lost in the pictures. The 9F quartz is amazing, as every other GS movement. A total bargain under 2k.
@@TheWatchScoreyou'll feel like a million pound when you wear it, I'm delighted for you. You can't know the sheer beauty and quality of a G.S. till you have it in your hands. Well done.👍

Citizen Cal 0100 - Google it. It has an insane accuracy of +/- 1 sec a year (!).
My favourite GS quartz is the SBGV243 - best everyday watch that flies under the radar and still looks sporty
I was actually looking for that before getting this! But the GS44 case is more appealing to me in the end.
Lovely watch
You need to show the dial closer without moving the watch all the time
Did you have to pay import tax from Japan on top of the purchase price , i.e another 20%?
Normally yes, your country's customs will change import fees / VAT
