If police officers develop a relationship with the communities they are serving they will be respected, protected and helped. The distrust comes in because of the lack of integrity, biases, and prejudices displayed by officers in the minority community. Minorities are not all criminals, we want to help officers, we want to respect and protect officers. We want everyone to be safe. We don’t hate police, all we are asking is for is a little respect.

The one variable here, in making that first choice of getting out or staying in the vehicle. Unlike many other agencies, LAPD has armored vehicles. Not sure what portions, but I know that the front doors are.

The gun sounded like a Glock with an auto sear. Code 6 -shots fired! Most LAPD officers keep a rifle in their trunk. The agency also allows personally owned AR-15's that meet certain specs.

The technical term is 'daisy chaining' for running multiple extenders 'in series'. If you're using actual surge supressprs then there's a reduced risk of fire but I would suggest the outlets you're using be upgraded to GFCI if they aren't already.
The most common damage I've seen from daisy chaining is to sensitive electronics being fed what's called 'dirty power'. Think of it like pulling a rubber band taught every time you turn on one of those Macbooks. You can pull it to the limit ever time but it will break at its weakest point much more quickly than had you just stretched it a little. And it's going to break at its weakest point.
Do you think the weakest point is the outlet? The--aptly named--surge supressors? Or one of the sensitive capacitors in that laptop?
Research UPS or uninterruptible power supply. They have a battery backup built in to stabilize power in the event of an outage but can also 'top up' a network suffering from dirty power.

They know the risks when they sign up. They’re literally doing the job for MONEY. If they want a job where their lives WON’T be at risk, then law enforcement is not for them. Nobody should act surprised when the man upstairs tells them that it’s their time. Just be smart about it and have a good life insurance policy and a plan in place to take care of your spouse/kids etc. Life is the ultimate game of “FAFO.”

I see wedding rings in this video. I think the officers need to go home at the end of the day. There’s always time to catch a criminal and video to catch them off guard later. Idk I’m not an officer but I would def want my husband to come home.

Good guys and bad guys out on graveyards. So so true. There’s a group of young cops in my town that pull me over picking my husband from work after night shift at 2 am and the couple times they’ve pulled me over they always want to search our car and ask if we’re leaving the bar. Ummmmmm nope I just got out of bed to pick my husband up because we only have one car rn and I need the car at night in case the kids need to go somewhere!!! They stopped pulling me over because I let them search the car and all they saw was my husbands work bag with boots ear plugs and vending machine money 😂😂😂😂 they literally think everyone on the street at 2 am in my town is out buying drugs or leaving the bar. It’s a quiet town obviously

I appreciate you guys so much. i believe the majority of cops are really decent guys. A few ego maniacs spoil it. But when u guys stand up for what’s right it makes it easier for others esp. ones that have assh@le partners. It’s a brotherhood i get it. But the good guys HAVE to & absolutely MUST stick out the ego driven or your complicit in his dumb sh;t. You should have a ton of officers supporting your podcast. Thank you for your bravery. Stay safe out there. 😊

I'm sure you will tell me to f off and I have no standing here I'm not an officer but I am a pilot with radio training. and you mentioned radio training. I suggest that officers could get great radio training basically a discipline in the economy of words by listening in on aircraft transmissions. in a complicated air traffic system minimal words need to be used to sequence traffic. we learn to tell an approach controller in seven words everything they need to know. but my concern are the many videos of officers using the words "show me your effing hands" or "drop the effing knife" etc. you guys are the trained professionals in the engagement The other guy is a street turd. you add no value when you add the f word to your instructions you complicate the communication you extend it with a words that don't help. I'm sure you tell me that it helps emphasize or shows urgency but I assure you it just complicates the communication and when it comes to professionalism how do you think it looks when four or five officers are screaming the f word when the body cams are shown in court? who looks professional then? you have a choice you can look professional calm and in control or you can sound like a gutter punk.

Like you stated, you’re not an officer. You won’t know that feeling when SHTF unless you’re there. They don’t cuss to sound cool or show urgency. Officers cause because we are humans and also get scared and nervous.

Plus the radiator started smoking from the gunfire last thing you want is to have your Cruiser become completely disabled if he jumps out and opens up on you again. Especially with these newer vehicles that auto shut off to try to prevent you from burning up your engine.
