Only way to do it. Get out there and just look for them. More time in the bush increases your chances of finding deer 👍 Good luck! Hope you fill the freezer.
That was some effort. Nothing worth losing your dog or life over. Too many times I've gone slipping down them slopes and the stock smacks me on the head.
Good job with the new rifle! Shame about the rapids! We’ve had some rain that’s for sure. Why did you upgrade to the fury considering same cal and it being a tack driver?
@@johnmac6226 cheers John! The browning x-bolt I’ll keep for my local hunts where the furtherest shot is no more then 600yds. Have shot it out further then that but using the 162’s I wouldn’t want to use them out past the 600 mark. I love the caliber so much I wanted to buy another so I could use a heavier pill in it which would be a suitable 1000yd rifle. So the fierce is using the 195 Berger’s which I’ll use on my backpack hunts 😃
@@hntrdwnundr3415 yeh fair enough, you’d probably be able to use those bergers under 300 still. I’m running 212 ELDX in my PRC but I’m looking at going lighter potentially to a 7PRC for backpack hunts. I’m still trying to figure out whether 3lbs lighter is worth multiple thousands of dollars 🤣🤣
@@johnmac6226 of course it’s worth it 😂 yea I see that Polkinghorne is running the 7mm PRC at the moment, seems like a good bit of kit. They have come out in the new X-bolt, Pro CG FLT. Look like a good bang stick 👌
Top video mate. Just starting my hunting journey this year. Hopefully get my first deer tomorrow to fill the freezer. Learning all by myself lol

Yes it’s all part and parcel of sambar hunting. if it was easy it wouldn’t be enjoyable. Have to challenge yourself to make the reward sweeter 👌
Yet another cracking vid mate
Thanks mate. Appreciate it 👍
Fuck yeah roota . The old 28 never a let down Fuk they hit hard .
Yea I bloody love it. These are the 195 Berger’s, seem to hit with a punch. I did have them going 3200 but had to slow them way up for more accuracy
Awesome mate!
Cheers Pabs 👍
