Lots of good plans for October. The daisy fabric is so pretty! Love the colors in the fabric with pumpkins and moths. Perfect for this month. Happy sewing! 😀👗🧥🎃🌸🦋
Beautiful makes and plans as always! I was watching one of your past videos on how to do the beaded trim. I was wondering would it work to just use the stiff netting underneath the beads without the base sequin layer? Or can sew-in stabilizer replace the sequin base layer?
I know what you mean, sewing the sequin layer takes forever. I did try using ribbon once instead, because you need something with nice edges, but it was a disaster. Perhaps it will work for you, but for me only the layer of sequins is strong enough to hold everything else in place. It also doesn't stretch or get damaged when it comes time to stitch the trim to the actual jacket. Maybe several layers of net with bias binding machine stitched over both edges would do it but I think sequins look nice.
@@PerfectJacket Thanks so much for your reply! I think I'll try the layers of netting with the bias binding. Great idea and yes the sequin layer looks awesome.
Thank you, Fin! ❤ the browny, greeny dress. 🎉
You are so welcome! Yep, I love that one! 💚🍁👗🍂🥰
I just love looking at your beautiful creations! Maybe one day I'll make ...something!😁
Awww, thank you! Yep, you should definitely take the plunge. Sew's fun! 🥰🎨🧵🍂👗
All of these are sooo pretty!
