I am looking for roman shades hung higher than my window, this was a great explanation. Any online companies that you would recommend for shades/drapes?
Where should a drape fall near the floor if you have a heating element such as baseboard heat under the window in the living room? Or do you still kiss the floor even if it covers the heat?
I had the same issue in my bedrooms. I hung one of mine from the ceiling and it falls 4" above the heater in one room and it looks good and is fully functional with no fire safety issue. And in my other bedroom I hung them where they come within about 1/2" of the floor but never close those ones when the heater is in use. They look really good just hanging on the sides or tied back.
Wow I learned so much from this video vs other window treatment videos. Thank you!
Excellent! Thank you
The chain idea was good to match with the silver fixtures and add glam.

I have a 7' x 7' window that is against a wall on one side, should I remove the ball finial from the one side?
