I went and saw the blind with my 62 year old dad and it was the single greatest movie experience I’ve ever had. The part when bill smith spoke the word to Phil it couldn’t stop tearing up all the way through baptism scene. After the movie my dad and I had one of the deepest talk we’ve ever had as father and son. None of this would’ve ever been possible without the blind. Thank you guys…..and I’ve always wanted to get baptized by Phil in the river
Loved the movie. So many parallels to me and my wife's life together. The scene where Phil asks what has to do to be saved and the preacher tells him he has to die.... powerful stuff. Brought tears to my eye thinking of my own salvation thru Christ.
My Husband and I saw the movie The Blind last week.Loved it.True life !What A Difference God Made in Phil he’s leaving a great legacy Doing Gods Work.I thank God for all the lives he’s touched we’ve watched every Duck Dynasty show and watch all Pod Cast that comes on . God Bless Each and Every one .
My wife and I went to see THE BLIND , what an awesome movie and story..brought this old hunter to tears.. Every duck hunter in the world owes it to the Robertson family to go see THE BLIND. Thank you.. CUT UM!!!!!
17:00 I’ve lived in Oregon my entire life, not only is our water murky and filled with sharks, it’s FREEZING cold. When we see people “surfing” or swimming out in the ocean, we can’t help but chuckle.😅
Very powerful movie. Thanks for sharing a very non glamorous, truthful depiction of the Robertsons early years. Very hard to show the ugly, wretched parts of ourselves. Which we all have in us.
My mom in law and i and my son went to see the blind last night and i just want to say i really enjoyed it . The message it put out should make all think about thier life and decide to repent and believe, if they havent already. Good job to you all. God Bless your family.
We bought and watched The Blind last Thursday. It was fantastic…but having been in a relationship that didn’t turn out like Phil and Kay’s story, I cried and cried. When I realized it would not end well, I took my child and walked away.. He succumbed to his vices…July 22.
Another great podcast with greatest guys of Louisiana uncle si #1 great man of the lord & war hero fro this great place United states of America 🇺🇲 I'm grateful for all men & women that have went to war & those who are still fighting my grandfather was in ww2 in the navy the thing I learned he couldn't swim that's a stong man... allways great to listen to these great guys this podcast is #1 & black Panthers are real in Louisiana 💯🇺🇲💪🦆🦆🦆🇺🇲
I went to go see the blind yesterday and expected so many people to be in that theater room to have such a big fan base and I was the only one that was in there. I was the fan base yesterday in my theater so thank you for that movie absolutely amazing a lot of emotions through it
Yes, my husband and i went and saw 'the blind' last weekend! Awesome movie! These days it is very difficult to go to a theater and watch a movie that is very emotionally charged! My husband remembers running his automobile into a tree while intoxicated more than 31 years ago. He was unable to slide out the window as my husband had passed out. When a person allows God to cleanse the soul and wash it white as snow, then a person can move in a NEW direction! The old man, what used to be, is no more! Phil being baptized was an exciting move to bury the sinful man! Such a positive message! My husband has been redeemed from alcohol&cigerettes for 31 years! We owe the total transformation to our Heavenly Father! HE IS MORE THAN ABLE!
Martin, that Mallard Drake was gorgeous! JD saw you in there and the credits. The movie was fantastic!!! I agree with Si, the lady that played Ms. Kay was an absolute 100% award winning performance. I will most definitely want to buy the movie. I cried when I saw Phil at the end. Wasn't ready for that. ❤ P.S. Mike Rowe is the new Paul Harvey IMO.
Me my wife and son sat and watch it at home on an 80" vizio. [FROM THE DAYS I HAD MONEY . UNEMPLOYED NOW DUE TO BRAIN CANCER AND OTHER INSIDIOUS DISEASES]...My wife and i have raised up a great child. He 13and 1/2 and true believer in Jesus as are his mom and i. Before i got sick i was really into myself and would drink a lot and not spend time with my wife and son. Thank God i saw the lite and put my family first....i literally tear up everytime i watch an episode with phil or si....i feel much closer to God and the gospel of Christ....they produce very spiritual enlightening shows
We saw The Blind last Saturday. It was great even though I’ve read their books and knew the story. We do not go to the movies because we are cheap but I was not missing this one. That duck fell beautifully and I told our group “That was Martin’s part in the movie”.
I'm new to the your whole entire Duck Dynasty 🦆 show after all these years I've just started watching . Although your movie Blind was extremely spiritually touching and heartfelt It's almost like one can walk away after watching this movie and be a totally different person inside Now I have been watching some of the the Older Duck Dynasty shows and I'm just wondering about Uncle Si Robertson's Tea he seems to have drank allot of Iced Tea in the show and if I've missed it before does he have a recipe for that Tea I'm just wondering what his tea would taste like I can't seem to make good tea and when I order tea at some restaurants it just doesn't taste good like it's been sitting at the bottom the picture for days at a time I'm just looking for a good iced tea recipe and Si Robertson's seems like he has a good recipe the way he carry's it around shotgun with him He like America's Favorite Uncle
Ty Jesus. I am glad to hear he apologized to Uncle Si. I love you all. I have been praying for you all ferverntly. Thank You Jesus. I love you all dearlt
B-17, B-24, B-26, B-29 were the bombers used in WWII. WWII was between 1939-1945. The B-52 was first flown in 1952 and first delivered to military in 1955. Interestingly enough this aircraft is being maintained to 2032 by Boeing until its retired. There are still ~75 in service, of the 742 built.
I saw The Blind with my boyfriend and our Pastor and his wife and we absolutely loved it, our pastor already decided he was gonna reference it in his next sermon
My wife and I live in Fernandina fl. We drove all the way to W. Monroe just to take our picture under their sign. Wish we had say one of them but didn’t want to harass em
So scary with our border being over run daily with young males of fighting age and what’s happening over in Israel. If we don’t get on the ball soon, it will be my daughters and sons living the nightmare. We cannot let the “greatest generation” down by failing to meet the need.
Amen brother. Father was at Iwo jima and Korea, > served in Vietnam. Dad has passed im 75 still ready to fight for the USA. GOD bless the USA and the Robertson.
I believe Si is talking about truffles. I don't really know anything about them except that they grow in the ground, people use pigs to sniff them out out, and they are apparently very expensive and are like a very high-end thing to eat.
I am a mother of three boys, I identified with Miss Kay. I am a heavy set woman too. I went to see the Blind, on the day it came out. I wanted to go when Si came, but the 4 o'clock time was sold out. I wanted to see Si, I was told I couldn't see him, because I didn't buy a ticket.

I'm sad I didn't get to see your movie the blind... I am a Christian with a one in a million autoimmune neuromuscular brain disease progressive with no cure and also cancer. Very sad the movie was not in a movie theater near me and not in the theater long enough. I can get there now after my hospital stay for my infusion treatments... And the movie is nowhere in my entire state. I really don't want it on TV or DVD... Only the large screen will do it justice for me! I enjoy your podcast and your whole family being Christian, hunters and fishermen and women. God bless you all and your families 🙏 Blessings 🙏 to each and every one of you... Sorry I missed your movie
The Blind just received another one-week extension. What area are you in? We can help find a theater, or if one isn't available, we can help you host a showing at your church. -Jenn

It's not in Southbury, but if you're up for a bit of a drive, it's playing an hour away in Poughkeepsie at the Regal and Manchester at the Cinemark this week. Johnny Dee, I saw you in the blind But I couldn’t find your name in the credit that stinks you should’ve been in the credit. It was a great movie and I’m glad I went and saw it even if it was 40 minutes away from my house.
I’m an Indiana girl and was down in Louisiana at the end of summer and felt like I was gonna die. It was 112* in the shade, I felt like I was melting , and that was with a small breeze. You guys can keep that heat and humidity down there. But you probably say that about us up north in the winter time when it gets down into single digits and a ton of snow.

Hey Martin, how many loops can Godwin tie in the headphones cord? Y'all are awesome!!
MIKE ROWE: THAT'S THE WAY I HEARD IT! He admits no one can replace Paul Harvey but he presents stories in a similar way.
My favorite part of the Blind is when Phil woke the boys and took them to hunt with him and learn to be great men.
I went and seen the blind last night and it’s a five star movie! Go watch these Christian-based movies and support them. The Hill is really good too!
