Thanks so much Jim, I greatly appreciate it.
Hi Frank, i totally enjoyed your video. I visited Seaside HGTS. many times, Love it. Married a Jersey girl from Forked River, N.J. Great film, you are a good photographer.CANADA.
Thank you Mario. I greatly appreciate it. I love take photos at Asbury park one of my favorite places.
Well done sir! I especially like the boardwalk pictures, the fog is awesome.
Thanks Tony. My first time using ortho film.
@@fasphoto they turned out great.
Thank you so much for that nice and informative video. The combination of the Adox D-76 developer (stock solution) and the Ferrania Orto 50 ISO film stock looks like a winning combination. The shadow detail looks good and highlights are nice and not blown out. I also like the contrast. I was wondering if you used a filter. I almost always shoot black and white film with a yellow filter. May have to try the Ferrania Orto 50 with a filter and without just to compare results. Anyway, another great video. Thanks!
Thanks Chris. I too use a yellow filter from time to time with b&w film but I chose not to with this film since it's not sensitive to red to begin with. Could be interesting to find out which would be a good filter for this type of film. Something to research and experiment with in the future.
I live in a town where you can not buy B&W film so every frame is important to me, I get 40 exposures from a 36 roll, I can not afford to be wasteful.
I get you. But I prefer to be safe than sorry. I worked in a camera store for over 34 yrs and I can't tell you how may many times I had customers come in to pick up their prints or slides with totally blank negatives because the film came off the take up spool never going thru the camera. But I do get ya. Film is expensive.
