Looks like a pretty decent trip. Bus travel here is so affordable, and can be pretty fun. I recently had a photoshoot in Pattaya that ran into the night, I didn't want to stay the night in Pattaya if I didn't have to and I didn't want to ride my bike back at night so I took the bus from Ekkimai in BKK to Pattaya, it was 133 baht each way. The bus was clean, cool and easy.

Judging by online reviews I did really well to avoid a long crossing at the border. I enjoyed the trip!

I've done overnight buss a few times in Thailand. Definitely need the VIP ones :)
