As someone that used to teach breakdancing at a dance studio, the moment she began her walk out to the stage I knew it was going to go horribly awry. You could see that she was not in the type of shape she would need to be in to compete at that level (or any level really). BBoys/BGirls that have had a good amount of experience have a control over their movements that you can see even in how they walk or interact with the camera, they understand framing, every joint and muscle of their body, and the clothes that extend from it. I don't blame Raygun for reaching that level, I blame the Oceania Olympics committees for failing to properly seek out the talent that the region undoubtedly has. There were so few woman from Australia in the Paris qualifiers, they were not qualifying the region's top class in any way.
From what I understand, she and her husband own the breakdance company that got approached by the committee to form the Olympic team. Her husband was the judge and he picked her to represent Australia. It's all corruption.
I agree with you. I think you could see it in her face too that even she knew she hadn't prepared. If this is what her preparation was she should have been doing serious core strength workouts. The core is key when it comes to dance.

Yes. She looks much heavier and less athletic/toned than at the qualifier. When she says she trained hard and gave it her all, it's hard to believe.

I know most people have trouble understanding simple concepts, so let me reiterate. Raygun qualified under the SAME rules as EVERY other Olympic athlete. So it's incorrect to call her delusional. The SELECTORS are delusional. So, i know everyone wants this to be a case of "not enough tough love", but it isn't. She earned her position regardless of how terrible she was. That's a them problem, not a her problem!

I’ve heard this called “Princess Syndrome”, and it’s a good title for it from what I see. We see it with some Swifties as well… people that can only see themselves as a “hero” or a “victim”. She truly believes that she is “good”, because she decided to change the standard to be what she wants it to be(one that favors her), instead of adhering to the existing standard. But then if you don’t like it, “you must be a misogynist!” (This then fuels the social movements to further support her)
This mentality is scary and it comes from having an abundance of privileged opportunity, but with no accountability or expectations. We can’t sit and tell young girls that they can “do or be anything they want”, but at the same time, have no expectations for how they then participate. (In fact, this is called “prejudice of lowered expectations”)
She has subsided in delusion, and only surrounds herself with those whom will validate her delusions(and it’s mind blowing how many will)… and then they all protect her from ever having to face reality. In 1996 I was one of dozens of young athletes screwed over by age restrictions and funding issues in my sport, my Olympic dreams were stolen from me because it wasn't swimming and that's all our country cares about. So to see this laughable nonsense not only presented as an Olympic sport, but to see all these moonbats lauding her is spitting in the face of all of us who have worked so hard for even a CHANCE that was taken from us to allow these participation trophy types in.

We did way more stretches & jumps/rolls & head/hand stands & leg sweeps & crab-walks....
What she does is just warm-up the wrestlers (Sambo/judo/greco roman ....).
We did way more intense warm-ups.
Just take a look at any of the Wrestlers warm-up.
200-300lb guys have better coordination & flexibility & athleticism.
Just take a look at what 56yo & 300lb Aleksandr Karelin does as a warm-up.
