Here's an idea! After filling the molds, while the chocolate is still malleable, scrape off the excess on the sides with either a knife or run over the top with unflavored dental floss and clean up the sides with a moist paper towel. Additionally if you prefer a thinner chocolate, consider adding in coconut oil! I love your diy videos Suzy!
So cute my kid just got a candybar maker and though it was so cool and now I want to start making chocolates love ur vid and now we are going to have to make wii remote :)
This gave me an idea when I have Christmas or birthday party, to buy all sorts of different kinds of gaming remote molds and make chocolate out of all of them! Will you get a Playstation or 64 controller? The world will never know. ;)
Arin's pink Princess Peach wii-mote can be bought, it was made to match the pink Peach themed Gamecube controller that came out for Smash Bros recently. There's also Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and (I think) Link ones too.
Thanks for telling me this 3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Do you realize how hard it is to get anything at this point? I'm not mad, Suzy, I still love you, I'm just a little frustrated that you're giving me such a good idea this close to buckle down time
While I think that these DIY videos are a fantastic addition to the channel, I really feel that you should be giving credit, at least by linking the source of the ideas presented here.
LethalButters I think the point she was trying to make was that with how many you can make with the amount of supplies you have, the total cost is brought down. So by your measure of $27.91 being the total cost, Suzy theoretically should be able to make about 10 of those wiimotes, therefore making the cost of making them at $3 each. You're saving money in the long run, not only spending $3 for everything, but I see how it could be slightly misleading with the word choice.
It's chocolate with the intention of melting, rather than something that could be melted. Unlike normal chocolate, it more properly, and more easily, melts into a substance that can be more properly used for desserts or designs. It's why you'll more often see it in a craft or seasonal aisle of a store, rather than the grocery section.
I really like Suzy, but as a pretty crafty person, these videos seem kinda shallow? It's just a mold. People that are not very crafty in general, are these videos helpful?
i love it, i wouldn't have thought of this. i love the simplicity but it can end up looking pretty fantastic. i also didn't know edible pens existed. makes sense as something that does, but isn't something i would have even bothered looking for!
For under $3 "my mold was $5" xD oh Suzy this is why I love you
I think she meant "3$ each", so you'd have to divide that by 4? Idk
You showed me how to pour chocolate into a mold. Brilliant.
Shout out to Suzy for managing to look fabulous even in sweatpants. Not everyone can achieve that.

Just a tip, if you heat up a paring knife blade in hot water/over a stove/what have you, you can easily trim off all those extra bits and slag.
do those meltable chocolates come in cranberry flavor?
this is legit the first DIY-ish channel i havent hated.keep up the awesome vids suzie
I hope to see an unboxing of this month's loot crate with you and Arin soon, it's a great one this month! happy holidays.
Suzy, if you heat a knife in hot water for a bit, you can break the excess off a bit cleaner. Gives a straighter edge :3
God, Suzy is just too adorable.
These would also make awesome soap!
Suzy you look so wonderful with black lipstick! Thanks for the awesome DIY
Totally gonna try this! Thanks Suzy.
How did you make them so perfect? Should I use a spatula to distribute it evenly?
These are so cute! And incredibly easy. I will have to look up molds online because the ones I find in the store are always kind of boring!
Omg yes thank you my son is turning 5 soon & it's a Donkey Kong party & he loves his Wii :D
I love this video! Please make more Suzy these are so cool I'm going to make some for my little brother next week!
Adorable, I never knew they sold Wii Mote molds. :3
Its 3rd party -_-
I meant "they" as in retailers in general, not Nintendo. But yeahhh.
These are sooo cute!! :>
I might buy a second set of molds too for resin jewelry making~~
Suzy looks super cute in dark lipstick, she should wear it more often!
The melted chocolate looked sooo gooood 😍😍
This is such a cute idea
You could heat up knife and clean up the edges too!

So cute my kid just got a candybar maker and though it was so cool and now I want to start making chocolates love ur vid and now we are going to have to make wii remote :)
I work at a game store and I totally wanna make these for my coworkers!!
So cute!! Only complaint I have is next time scrape the excess chocolate off the mold before cooling it.
I love Suzy but was this really just a video showing you how to put chocolate in a mold? Odd choice of video.
you'd be surprised how many people don't know these things
lol the cameraman with the dramatic zooms!!
Oh my gosh!!! Amazing + cute idea!
I'll have to make this for my buddies next year!
or maybe for their birthdays! c:
Hmmm. I was hoping for something that was a little more creative than chocolate in a mold. However, I do think these are a cute, cheap gift!
You could try rice crispy treats
That's adorable! And so easy!
Sweet, can't wait to try!!
Great idea, Suzy.
that was so awesome I wanna learn how to do that
"For Under $3"

Aren't there any chocolate bars in the USA?
Super great idea! Love it! Definitely something I will keep in mind for the future. :)
I couldn't even make it through the whole video the background music was driving me crazy
i HAAAATE those melting chocolates so much, they never come out nicely for me
I wonder if Suzy made Arins pink Wii remote?
Arin's pink Princess Peach wii-mote can be bought, it was made to match the pink Peach themed Gamecube controller that came out for Smash Bros recently. There's also Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and (I think) Link ones too.
MissKuzara wow, just wow -_- Powerpuff meant a pink chocolate wii remote -_-
John Colt calm down friend
Lol it's pretty obvious the pink wii mote is a real one, considering the player 1 light is on it's a bit of a giveaway lmao.
Yeah I wasnt talking about the one in the middle, I just wondered if ahe made him a replica of his pink Wii mote.
What a cool idea. I'll have to try this. :)
I love watching your videos their fun. :)
Thanks for telling me this 3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Do you realize how hard it is to get anything at this point? I'm not mad, Suzy, I still love you, I'm just a little frustrated that you're giving me such a good idea this close to buckle down time
Lol
This was adorable. :3
"for under $3"
One of the first things mentioned is $5

I love it
QuadWad And why you don't do it?...
The molds won't ship internationally. :(
was anything in this under 3 dollars ??
... For each it was under 3 dollars..
LethalButters But those materials make more than one lol
dear lord

Its just the lingo that DIYers use when referring to the costs of making things.
Mold - $5 , Melting candies - $1.50 x 2 , Bags - $1 , Ribbon - $1. Total cost = $10
Make about 6 Wiimotes , $10 / 6 = $1.67 per Wiimote. Sound about right.
Suzy looks extra bae here
Meltable chocolate? I.. don't think I've ever, in my life, seen chocolate that DOESN'T melt. All chocolate melt if you heat it up? What? :P
It's chocolate with the intention of melting, rather than something that could be melted. How is it under 3$ when the mold is 5$?
holy shit she's really pretty in this one tho
B-but... the mold is $5.
I really like Suzy, but as a pretty crafty person, these videos seem kinda shallow? It's just a mold. People that are not very crafty in general, are these videos helpful?
Isn't it meant to give you inspiration? You can do whatever you want with this idea. Personally I think its a good base for so many ideas
I think they're helpful. Never would have thought of something like this otherwise. :)
i love it, i wouldn't have thought of this. i love the simplicity but it can end up looking pretty fantastic. i also didn't know edible pens existed. makes sense as something that does, but isn't something i would have even bothered looking for!
Maybe you're just being judgmental and smug?
Seriously, there's no hierarchy in crafting. The only requirement is that you enjoy doing it.
Haha plastic in the dishwasher
