I did not see this coming. As early as I can remember, I've always had a connection with electronic music. Here, in the US, during the 80's and 90's it was so much more difficult to get your hands on electronic music. Hearing Neil Tennant's voice and Chris Lowe on the synthesizers always brought joy to me. I don't know why I've always gravitated towards electronic music, in general, but it's the only music I connect with.
State Azure, I NEVER thought you would ever do re-interpretation of the Pet Shop Boys... I must say... it's better than I imagined you would do. Thank you.

Absolutely superb. This is my favorite PSB track. Strangely enough I was watching them on the box the other night on BBC2 and also the interviews. Noticed the rack of Akai samplers on stage in the backround. I'm about the same age as you and their tracks bring back a lot of memorys from the late 80's and 90's. Driving round town in Bournemouth listening to 'Actually' on tape. Wouldn't it be great if they watch this cover version!

SA this is sublime. As a kid growing up in NZ that listened to UK bands like PSB, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode and so many others during the 80s and into the 90s this just hits right in the feels.

Magic. Synth is so much a part of my life, I think my earliest love was the Blake's 7 theme, and the opening intro to the British docu-series "Submarine" in the early 80s. It was such a hoot when Flight of the Conchords did the "Inner City Pressure" remake of Pet Shop Boys' West End Girls several years ago.

You and me both! A friend created a mixtape of music for me which included some PSB, including this one. I used to listen to it on an old 80s tape recorder, over and over.
Here we are on this journey that never ends. From the 80s (young, single and with dreams) to 2024 (married, with children, retired) and this journey with the Pet Shop Boys continued for decades. Amazing reinvention cover. Regards from Brazil....

Wow one my fav artist on you tube covering my fav. Tune. The PSB have long said loves comes quickly is the track they are most proud of. It didn't chart as well as some of their others songs, but for me this is a magical track, there is just something so haunting and beautiful about it. You do an amazing job with this! You have captured its soul!

In the 80's as a young teenager, The Pet Shop Boys were my favourite, if this has the credit it deserves the journey starts all over again. no words needed, takes me to UK where i lived 2 years...i remember pet shop boys, underworld, moby, chemical brothers... good times... state azure you represent perfectly the superpower electronic UK...marvellous...your style of course is very different , i actually prefer your syle of electronic music is much closer to what i like......i also remember the importance of shynths in the eighties... i miss them a lot, that is why i love this channel...nowadays is funny that being my self spanish i do not like latin music, i always love celtic music for example, maybe is because i am from the north of spain...
