Like someone said a grizzly is king over anything. Even a polar bear. There is a documentary about a rotting whale carcus and all the animals feed on it. At one point there are about 30 polar bears and 1 alaskan brown bear grizzly. Ever polar bear stays away. The hump on the grizzly back is muscle that makes for super paw swipe strikes with huge thick claws. It also helps with jaw strength.
Ancient Rome when they fought all different animal against each other found out the big bears always won.
Damn! I can't believe I was crazy enough to wrestle one of them way back in my "indestructible teen" years. Nowadays, they don't have "rasslin' bears" traveling to county fairs. You poor young'uns are missing out on so much that us old-timers got to do growin' up.

@@antoinemantoux6049 I saw a tv show where a tiger swam out in the water and took an antelope or deer from several crocodiles. They were very afraid of the tiger. And it was a female tiger.

Anything is possible in Florida. Total ecosystem craziness. Bear had NO issues here at all. And it was in deep water.
Every Deep South state has both of these animals not just Florida, Louisiana has more gators than Florida too.
If it was A crocodile it would of made much better attempt. In Africa Crocodiles have been filmed attacking 1 ton buffalos and also going for Elephants by grabbing their Trunks.

@@USandGlobal Actually Salt water Crocs can outweigh poplar bears. Obviously on land the croc would be in trouble. But if put money on a 2,000 lb croc over a full Kodak bear or polar bear in the water.

Crocs are powerful stealth hunters, their diet does not include huge powerful animals with dexterity and great stamina like bears, bears on the other hand are perfect combative animals with all the abilities to take on and fight for long periods. A grizzly, Kodiak or Polar would be far too much for the biggest salt water to risk its life. Crics are intelligent animals as well, so they know their boundaries. Next thing you will say is a vroc can hunt a large Hipo or Rhino or Elephant or killer whale.

Man that bears going so fast it’s putting out a wake! Those gators didn’t look like small ones and they didn’t even slow the bear down. That tells me more about bears than I already knew and I consider myself quite knowledgeable about bears. I wouldn’t want to tangle with a bear even if it was just a 30 pound cub. 😂

Gators rarely waste their time on bigger prey or anything that fights back.
Crocodiles would have been more of a challenge
@@Martin199320 Or a larger gator. But, a larger (older/experienced) gator would probably not waste his time with the bear. These were likely just two younger, decent sized gators biting off more than they could chew. The first gator circled back and acted like he was going to give it another go from the bear's rear, but seemed to back off as the second gator approached.

@@geralkay3012 Assuming that was an adult male black bear, I would estimate the first gator to be around 9 ft. and I would guess the second was similar in size being that they were sharing the same territory. Good chance that one of them was a female, too. Regardless, not huge gators. A 13 ft.+ bull gator would not tolerate another male in his area.
