Hey everyone, this song was introduced to me by all of you a couple weeks ago. I was so excited when I heard it, and knew it was going to be featured up on the channel. For the arrangement, I decided not to go too crazy with the virtuosic elements, and keep it relatively tame. I hope you all enjoy my take on this!

I just got married and this was the song that the wedding party and myself walked down the isle to. This was the song that was playing when the gravity of the situation hit me. I had been looking forward to this moment for a while. And I’m glad it was to this song. Thank you Evan!

hey man, i used to hear this song cover of yours from the back of my parents car in 2013, back when we used to go to the beach and eat typical foods from our island and whatnot. It was so nice hearing this as we drove around. RUclips recommended brought me back here and honestly I couldn't be any happier. This brings me back to that time and place and I just couldn't remember that without this. I hope you're well.

this is honestly one of the most amazing pieces of music i have ever heard. the first time i watched this video i cried and then seeing deadmau5 play this live at ultra i sobbed. wow, just wow.

That, or people who's dicks are so small that disliking is the only thing that satisfies their sad sad sorry excuse for a purpose in life. I literally met like 3 guys who literally had nothing better to do than give me fat jokes. 3 years later, i got tired of giving a fuck.
I have noticed that most videos on RUclips have close to 1% dislikes. The better the videos, the lower the ratio, but most of the time it's close to 1%. I'm pretty sure it's not actually people disliking the video but RUclips enforcing a minimum dislike amount.

When I was going through a bit of a rough patch in my life this summer I listened to a lot of music to help cope and "The Veldt" was one of the songs I listened to a lot so when I heard this version I got the chills because it was so good. Excellent job.
He does such a splendid job at capturing emotion in the pieces he selects. Someone should make him famous because this is talent.

Rightwardsky I guess it's because a lot of electronic pop music (not nearly all electronic music) has these uplifting melodies and themes, and he covers a lot of electronic pop
Lennard Lennard most rememberable songs have very strong melodies that provoke emotion, and thats why they become popular.
