hey THANKS for review @Dan Cui... do you know if it's OK to wear the buckles on the INSIDE - i.e. switch the right & left frames? thanks!!

Looking at the shell I don't see anything that would stop you from doing that.

Ordered the Apex MC-1 boots for my husband. He wants to try skiing with me and the kids, but he has wide feet, high arches, and thick calves. He can't seem to wear regular ski boots, even models designed for bigger guys. Hopefully he'll be able to wear these without pain after we figure out the heat molding.

Apex has a video link to show you how to heat up the liners. Not hard to do. I would heat the liners up first before trying to get your foot into it. Otherwise, it will surely be a very tight fit.

Hi, Dan. Is the skeleton with fit regular snowboard boots?

It might be possible but you'd have to check with the company

Nice review! I thought about the Apex system as a way to escape hard ski boots. Decided instead to just convert to snowboarding.
