I mean, all the kids have their own dedicated space? Why shouldn’t the adults? I haven’t been on the Wish yet but love that the other ships have their own little corner or adult only spaces
Because not everything’s about adults I’ve been to hotels cruises everything and they have adult clubs and casino they couldn’t even make room for like a arcade or something especially at a cruise dedicated for kids and there actually is a area dedicated too adults
Appreciate the overall DCL review on how things work! Sailing on our first ever cruise in April, of course it’s gonna be Disney…4 nights on the Fantasy, so excited!!
I don’t like that on the dream the adult area is all in the back like it’s shameful and hiding drinking and non kid areas. The wish is more scattered and less isolated and hidden.
I’ve been on the Dream twice and Fantasy once. Going on the treasure next. I’m in the minority that I actually like the layout of the Triton class ships because as a dad, I don’t have to travel all the way across the ship to go to a bar. I can pretty much grab a drink anywhere on the ship now without having to leave the family. 😁
That makes sense and definitely means Disney listened to the families cruising with them as they began to restructure their ship layouts! We hope you have a great time on the treasure! We will be on there after the all the inaugural sailings.
Totally agree. Everyone bought a ticket and should be able to accommodate adults with their area. Great point, like the information shared on your channel 👏
Hi Josh. Husband and I are going on our first cruise and first disney cruise for our baby moon. Right now we have 4 night with Fantasy booked going to Lookout Cay but I think we want to change to go to Castaway Cay but it would have to be on the Wish. You think the Wish will still be great? I know people love the Fantasy. Heard Castaway is better too.
We have yet to visit Lookout Cay, but as time goes on and they make adjustments we are sure it will be great. I think no matter what ship you choose you will have a great time because it’s your first Disney cruise! You will be overwhelmed by the decor, characters, food and all the activities. Castaway cay is great and if you’re able to visit the adult side definitely do it, but again no matter which one you choose it’s going to be great because it’s your first one! Have fun!
@@travelwithjoshandtaylor thank you. We had a wonderful time. She is a big Frozen fan and her birthday dinner was in that restaurant! Great memories! After watching your video a second time with a careful eye, I think there were some times we were in the same area of the ship at the same time.
The Wish does not hold crowds well at all... Im nervous for the Treasure. Half the guests on the Wish are still getting their bearings and don't have enough time to do all the things like trivia... What happens when guests now have more time to be able to try trivia or other activities? Yikes... And I predict reservations will need to be in place again for the Haunted Mansion bar (like Hyperspace Lounge had at the beginning) to manage those crowds
Would this be good cruise for adults? We don’t drink alcohol and don’t like to gamble so other cruise lines don’t seem appealing for us. Also I enjoyed this format for information.
Thank you! It certainly can be great for adults, but we would recommend a legacy ship like the fantasy or magic if your looking for a sailing in the Caribbean, or wonder if your interested in doing Alaska! Reach out to us via email, Taylor can help you get it all set up!
Any tips for cruising with a kiddo who can't eat around other people? He has autism and an anxiety disorder with sensory issues so we figured we'd just eat in our room most of the time. He would just panic if he was seated at a table with other people who were eating. But I don't want him to miss out all the time. I'm hoping for private tables at the rotating restaurants and then I just won't eat there, so he can enjoy the experience (I never eat in front of him if I can help it because he sobs and panics if he sees others eating food) I can always eat later. But I'm terrified of what might happen if we are seated with others.
Hi in situations like this its always best to reach out to the cruise line directly. Alternatively if you use a travel agent from Goldgell Getaways, they can also help you with this and the cruise lines. Disney and Royal Caribbean are the best with kids catering to their specific needs.
Been to DCL 4 times, the last time on the Fantasy, food quality was poor. I wrote it on the comment card, gave it a low score, expecting someone to reach out to us to discuss. Sadly Disney didn't
Thats too bad, sometimes thats a benefit of using a travel agent like goldgell getaways. We have a direct connection with the cruise lines and we are often relaying information back to the cruises from guests and hear back almost immediately.
Hello 😊; if you’re new to cruising, you might find the 5 night cruise to be a good introduction. The 3 & 4 night cruises may feel too short to get to know the ship, no sooner do you feel comfortable getting around the ship, it’s time to go home. 5 nights will allow you to rotate through the 3 dining rooms & have the option of experiencing some of the adult dining, without feeling that you’re missing out of the other experiences. Plus, you’ll have at least one day at sea (sometimes 2) to enjoy some of the on board activities. Hope this was helpful to you, our family loves sailing with Disney 😊
No, the Wish is terrible for people with mobility problems. I do not, but after my husband passed, we took a cruise on the Wish. The problems screamed at us. No deck to walk/run around. Tight restaurants. Nope not again.
Doing 3 nights @ Disney and 3 nights on the Wish! Cant wait

There are adult only lounges
@@BillionzProductionStudios I understand that, but they are not set up the same in their own little corner like the other ships.
Oh ok
Doing this exact cruise next year! 4 nights on the Wish stopping at Nassau and Castaway Cay. Also going to be in the beginning of May. So excited!
Have a great time! The ship is beautiful! Weather will be perfect.
Thanks. Very helpful video. We prefer the Fantasy, but we're trying the Wish in September.
Thank you! This review was extremely helpful!
Glad it was helpful! We hope you have a great time on whatever cruise you choose!
I never go to the buffet on embarkation day, sit down for me or if on the Wish quick service!
Great choice!
There is always one dining room open for lunch on embarkation! Really like your DCL vlogs!

That's so exciting! Have fun!
Thanks for the summary . Very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My husband and I are taking our very first Disney cruise in 2026 on the Wish. You have me rethinking it.
Well you could still have a great time! I think it’s important to just know what you’re walking into to have the best expectations.
I think the Fantasy is better for adults
@kennethpreston9813 we agree!
We’ve been on 3 Disney cruises in the last two years and the wish is our favorite ship and we are adults only.
I don’t like that on the dream the adult area is all in the back like it’s shameful and hiding drinking and non kid areas. The wish is more scattered and less isolated and hidden.

We were on the same cruise! We were celebrating our granddaughter’s 6th birthday!
Happy birthday to her!

I alway get the second dinnin

Good video but would prefer not to see your face every other frame. I would rather see the more of the ship.
Thank you for the feedback!
Rude! It's a ship review not a tour!
Excited for this video

What would be a great ship for those with mobility issues?
I understand Disney is mostly geared towards kids, but do they ever do adult only cruises?
They dont do adult only cruises, that would be a Virgin Voyages cruise.
