I still have the camera one. He's just a fun and super posable robot. He looks like an actual robot, too, and can hold pencils and real world objects.
That looks so fun to play with...
Also can't believe Cybertron Override it's on the screen that's awesome

I had those when growing up... Never could figure out why a movie toy had a picture of Override (from the Cybertron series) instead of a transformer from the movie. It was kinda weird. Still, they were pretty fun.
Because they were originally supposed to be part of the Transformers Cybertron line, but because of the popularity of the live action Michael Bay movies, they decided to roll them out as that, with their descriptions referencing that scene where the Allspark sent out a pulse wave that brought random things to life while Sam was running away from Megatron.
Yeah any Real Gear with a "screen" has cybertron characters on it. Jetfire is on the portable game console.
I thought it was to scale as a kid too and when you grow up it just slowly shrinks in your perspective
I had every figure from this line. These along with the legends class /scout class were my favorite

Fun fact, the Real Gear Robots toyline was originally meant for the Cybertron toyline (hence why this figure has Override)
And the handheld game one had Jetfire on its screen.

I used to have a transformer MP3 player. It was just a radio, but it could actually play music so it was awesome to have as a child.
the real gear robots are some of my favourite tf toys out there, the success of the movie gave them so much room to play around with toy concepts and this just really clicks with me, like if the appliances and doodads animated by the allspark were friend shaped

I still have my meantime after so many years. Snapped a shoulder (glued and still going strong today), chipped a few tabs, and is all scuffed up but it'll never go away. It's my most adorable lil bot i have.
these are basically spiritual successors of the Micoman toyline
I think I remember my mom finding the entire lot of these including the autobots, i remember being so happy as a kid back then it’s nice to know so many other people share my memories of playing with these guys

Duuuude, I remember when one of my friends brought one to school back when I was in Kindergarten, and I thought it was the coolest shit I’ve ever seen.
Little did I know that it was 1/3 of the catalyst that got me into Transformers, as a whole.
I brought one with me to Boy Scouts night and I was the coolest kid that night for sure 😂
Man the nostalgia just hit me big, the portable games console one was my favourite
I actually had this little guy when I was a kid, seeing this brought back fond memories
I remember my friend having a Decepticon that turned into a PS Portable. So cool
I had this and I love it!!!!
Actual robots in disguise
I think that was my favorite transformer figure as a kid. I actually found it in my old bedroom at my parent's house, a couple of years ago.

Man. I remember my first transformer figure being this Autobot who turns into a safari truck. I didn't know where the front of the vehicle mode was when I got it so a good number of times I drove it backwards. 2000s Transformers really hit diffrent back then.
Wait, were his toes the windshield piece that split into two flaps? Because if so, that was one of my first transformers, too
@@JavierEscuelIa Not exactly. He was a peach and orange color with a silver visor(like Jazz). He had a silver chestpiece that looked like the royal guard symbol from TF Animated. The truck's seats actually fold into the guy's feet(something I didn't realise was possible because I forgot to see that step in the paper). I'm not sure if you're talking about the same guy because this was one of those smaller toys with the simple steps.

I have Spy Glass. I brought it to work once a few years ago once. That day I also had an anxiety attack and the button on it helped me calm down.
I remember having Spy Shot 6, handed down from my older brother, mainly because I was four months old when these figures came out. He was fun, until I accidentally misplaced his left arm.
Fun fact: Zoom Out’s screen has Override from Cybertron on it.

I remember these. I have both the ones in this video. I like that they have Override from Transformers Cybertron on Zoom Out 25x's screen.
He looks like a minicon in a good way. Reminds me of the destruction team.
these figure heads were so much unicron trilogy in their heads. I know this time areound we're all "long standing characters" and "weird gimmicky, barely even transformers if you look them from the wrong side" look, but I just miss these heads
Its awesome that on the viewfinder it also has the image of transformers cybertron over ride. Which out of universe is a great way of showing the timeline of when these figures came out. However in universe it brings up the interesting question of if these real gear robots bridge the gap to canonize the unicron trilogy with these little guys.

Both of these were favorites of mine. Also while I’m not sure, I think the picture on the camcorder is from Transformers: Cybertron.
I had the little camera ages ago. God I miss my old toys, I regret getting rid of them so badly.
I bought it at a store called Adamski in Namba, Osaka, and I still have it.

x10 booster is my favorite Laserbeak figure. Zoom out 25x also works as Shadow striker imo

Hey I have one of these guys! I have the one you didn’t focus on as much, Spyshot 6. Except mine has a different color scheme, he’s more of a grayish brown color. He was my favorite transformer growing up and I still have him to this day. And just like you I also used to think he was life-sized because my hands were so small back then
I remember getting one that was a pair of binoculars for maybe my 5th birthday, but as a little kid does, I lost 95% of the pieces

bruh I had a digital watch and a flip phone one. I lost the watch one but the flip phone is sitting displayed at my desk now. they where one of my fav transformers just cuz they where 1:1 scale and me and my lil bro could play with them and interact with them like we where in the show/movies

I actually had zoomout, but I didn’t know the actual name. I thought that a camera transformer was really cool when I was little
I think I managed to get at least one of each mold, since they all got redecoes and not all of them were sold in my country. My favorite of the.bunch is the game controller, as the robot mold is more gorilla like than humanoid, with the huge burly arms and tiny legs... 😅
