Can i use editable spray paint like the Wilton ones instead of luster dust. Im 12 so i still cant order online. I have made the dalek cake and the McQueen cake and i just use gray fondant and the spray paint is more accessible to me. I am also making the purse cake for my sisters birthday. thanks.

Hi Ann, you make it look so easy! I wanted to make this, and I thought I finally have to deal with the pvc piping, nuts, etc; I'm so gladddd that I saw your video! I still have a question though, how do you hold the dowels to the board? You drilled the hole through the board, right? What did you put under the board that will keep the dowel from pushing through? I'm actually going to make the minion 6" wide, and will use 1x 1" high 4" dummy cake, 2x 3" high 6" dummy cakes and just a half hemisphere real cake for the top. Do you think I can use a foam board or multiple cake board instead? I'm trying to avoid having to drill as I don't have one.
