I have been through hell and back, and I’m still going through it but I choose to be better and not bitter. The Tami that is portrayed on Basketball Wives comes off as very angry and aggressive. That’s not who I saw in this video.

Tami’s story is incredible. Before meeting her ex-husband, she was held against her will for several days while being sexually violated. Her ex-husband added to her emotional trauma by cheating and doing her wrong. I don’t condone physical violence, but I understand why she was so angry on BBW. Sometimes someone’s past hurt turns to anger, which is a comfort zone for some. Nobody can take advantage of them once in that angry comfort zone. Evolving and embracing change have helped her heal and grow to become a better version of herself. I’ve always liked Tami. She’s always been real to me.
Wow, how strong of her to still have such an amazing and beautiful personality... Unless all those horrible events took place after all of this?

Yes Tammie is a strong incredible woman I can now see who she really is I always knew she was on this show that's where her reality TV star came from and by the way the real world was a real good show back then I don't know about now looking back on the show I can honestly say she had a good life an interesting life before she met her now ex-husband but I didn't know that before she married Kenny that she was in abusive relationship I can now see why Tammy is the way she is however you cannot allow your pain to define you for who you are what she should have done is going to get the help and treatment that she needs that way she can move forward in her life and not allow this pain to hold her back from finding Love and happiness because that's what most women are doing nowadays and this is the main reason why it's difficult for them to have a relationship with a man or anybody because they keep on holding on to that pain everybody on here please if you're in a situation where you're being abused by your spouse or your lover please get the hell away from that don't sell yourself short

I’m familiar with Tami Roman but seeing Tami Akbar more mild and humble was amazing. I’m such a big fan of Tami and it’s great to see where it all started. Her story was incomparable!

Tami was that CHIC !!!! I hate her marriage and divorce caused her to fall off , which we all witnessed the short after affects on Season 2 on Basketball Wives Miami. But she QUICKLY bounced back and is MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN EVER NOW 💙💙💙
This took me back to my room in my comfy childhood home, when my dad was still alive and when I had all of my best friends just down the street. The days where I was carefree and happy. I really really miss those days so much that I want to cry. And Tami is the original reality tv queen. So glad to have watched her from my teen years and still watching her today. I feel like I know her. Much love❤ to her
I feel u! I get emotional sometimes thinking about the old days when a lot of my loved ones were still here, no responsibility. Love and appreciate who and what I have now but those were the good days. I wish I could go back for a little while.

As a kid of course I didn't understand a lot of the stuff, but MTV was my favorite and I watched TRW faithfully and always said I'm going to audition for the real world when I get older and I never did 😔. This time and era of life was just epic and I miss it everyday. I wish I could go back just for one day.
