I’m thinking of buying a 51. But it will be in an unheated garage. Can I use a mixture of antifreeze in the chiller to keep it from freezing? Thank you for your video. I have subscribed.
Yes you can however antifreeze is not fool proof. Depending on the temperature it may turn to slush or even freeze if you think it will get cold enough to freeze drain the tube.
Depending on what you want to accomplish with it would depend on the size. They both have their merits. I think the 35/80 is a good all around laser for a first timer.
The part u removed at 3:25min where u used a key, do u have to use a hex key 1st to loosen a nut before using the key? I have the same machine and cannot get that door off/down. Love ur channel, Thanks!
my experience with their sales team was absolutely horrible. he acted like I caught him off guard and he was working on something when the phone started ringing. I even had to ask if he was in sales because he had a "yes, what do you want" type of attitude. he was NOT interested in making a sale. maybe he just had a bad day I don't know.
I am extremely sorry to hear about that from sales. That is out of the norm from all the times I have spoke with them. Maybe it was a bad day, hell if I know.
Greetings from the UK. I've heard it can be tricky to dial in settings for engraving using a 130w compared to say a 100w. How have you found this for engraving
On some items such as anodized aluminum and suede picture matting we found it difficult to engrave them on the 130W due to the little wattage that is needed. For things like that we use the 80 watt machine. As for engraving wood and tumblers the 130 watt does a great job.
Get this man a hat and T-shirt thunder!
Just starting the process to purchase the 51 and this was a great review! Thanks for sharing.
Did you get the Thunder? Thoughts?
Nice review with good views of the machines and their layout. Appreciate your effort to put this out there.
They won't give you a hat? Appreciate your review.
Excellent one year review. Good points on different aspects.
I asked a question on your other video. This answers it. Thanks
Loved the review!
I agree with the key comment. Dam solid machine so far though. I have a 51/100.
Yo can cut 20 mm plywood?
Thanks
Hope it helps

Thanks for posting this video, quite helpful for someone looking int to this. What size would you recommend as your first one or only one?

On the inside of the door panel there are small hex head screws that have to be removed befor the door will come off
@@Angrycraftsman TY!
Where did you get your refurbished 35? I'm in KY and would like to look into one.
Contact sales and ask if they have any refurbished machines
Have you been able to cut steel or aluminum also are you running them from home?
We do not cut steel or aluminum with the lasers. Yes our business is home based.

So I spoke with Grant the Sales Manager. He would love for you to call him to discuss your experience if your willing.
