Get the GMOD Mount - Fast and Easy

- The Awesome G.M.O.D mount is a low (likely 1%) drop from the Mekkatorque encounter in the Battle for Dazar'alor raid in Normal, Heroic and Mythic. But it also drops from the Jaina encounter in LFR difficulty which is pretty easy to solo as long as you have a Level 70+, iLvl 400+ character.
In this guide a share a few tips on the LFR version including how to access LFR and how to deal with the fights on lower Iivl characters. Good Luck on the mount!
Alliance: Kiku can be found at 74.0 13.6 in Boralus.
Horde: Eppu can be found in The Great Seal in Dazar'alor at 68.2 33.0.

429 attempts, mostly on LFR. I'm free. In Stormwall Blockade, be sure to interrupt the main boss's raid wipe mechanics when he spawned. As for Jaina, just doing the mechanics. When she teleported to the middle, just go back to the original location (need to break the wall) and interrupt the 2 mobs there.
Since I’m just now seeing this video three months later I’m going to wait until warbands go live so I can get all the mogs as I go too.

There's a problem on the 2nd boss if you play a class with an interrupt with a long cooldown. If you interrupt one of the 2 channeling mobs on the left boat, and it doesn't refresh by the time the boss is summoned to the dock and finishes his casting, you wipe. One method is to just blow your cooldowns to kill the mob on the left boat fast enough before the boss is fully charged. (The mob on the other boat comes back and starts charging the boss while you're killing the second one, which is why you're on a time limit.)
Great advice - I mostly did it on a tank class so never really had to think about the interrupt being a thing!
I'm not sure what the issue is but I cannot run this raid in anything other than LFR, no matter what my difficulty settings are on.
just looked at the loot charts. it doesnt even drop from the version of the dungeon you said to join!
so at what point do you get the mount? that was just a video on how to solo the raid. does the first bos drop it? if so why the rest of the video?

LOL f-me. I've been farming Mechatorque in LFR for a while now, thinking he drops the mount. Rarely bothered killing Jaina.
Is it still 1% drop chance? Also you said over 400 ilvl can do it but for 2nd boss if lower than 480? Did i miss something?
I do all 3 bosses with 415ish ilvl, so you'd destroy the bosses with 480ilvl
@@tomothered what class? As i noticed this was a pala tank and i was gonna run as a shadow priest?
@@scrummpybear I do it on Lock, Mage, Rogue, DH, Druid and Hunter. Any class can do it i think it's just a case of having enough ilvl i think.
@@scrummpybear The 480 comment was just about the order you do the mini bosses in during the second boss. If you go right first, there's not as much of a DPS race.
Also, the main boss casts 'Catastrophic Tides' which has to be interrupted or it's an instant wipe.
Did it pretty easy as a 457iLv UH DK. Right > left > boss, interrupt the main boss's Catastrophic Tides asap

Cause in heroic mythic it drops off that boss at that time marker
You can not even 3 man stonewall blockade with all 3 having 430 gear so there is no soloing this. Don't know how the fuck you are doing it
