No tractor in the world is capable of disappearing 20 meters in 2 seconds. I don't understand why I'm wasting my time with you. Because logically speaking. Back in early 1990's. Was driving out of Edinburgh to a large 5 way triple lane roundabout. 5pm ish so very busy. A 44tonne Articulated lorry had his clutch go and it blocked a complete entrance to the roundabout. The Police were there with a Range Rover and some chain. They pulled the Artic off the roundabout and about 100m up a road to a lay - by to ease the congestion. Shows just how powerful big 4x4s are
@@bobsinn yea specially when it pulled it sideways only thing that possibly made sense to me was maybe the big rig was on an ice patch at that point i dono tho........
The truck assisted with its own power. It just needed a slight pull to get moving. You dont really believe it would pull it on its own out of that snow. On a dry road with the truck being in neutral, and on a flat surface - yes it woule move the truck on its own. On a incline, with the truck being stuck, not possible.
@@nAN3ftw Correct. Any similar vehicle could do the same thing in the same circumstance. There is nothing especially superior just because teh vehicle says "jeep" on it. It's just a Chrysler product with Quadra-Drive. Common on many other brands of vehicles. Yes. I have a Grand Cherokee made in 1995. They had weak MOPAR transmissions and light duty transfer cases. But I like it mine because it was cheap, and has a very reliable engine in the 4.0, which was an AMC engine, and the build quality is far above average. The first Grand Cherokees had superb fit and finish. Mine has Command Trac 4WD, which might not have pulled this truck free. Quadra-Drive is better
and what would you want to destroy in the snow? When there's almost no strain on the drive system... Which is any more of an effort than this to get to the store for milk or out of a traffic light.
@@Batler631you’re exceeding the tow capacity of the vehicle. Trying to estimate the effort by observation on its tire slippage is not a good gauge. And don’t bs me about it being the same as going to the grocery store. If you want to risk damaging your suv trying to pull 18 wheelers out of the snow, go ahead. That’s your business.
@@NemeanLion- On snow/ice... 1500 rpm is enough to slip the wheels.... On dry asphalt, I can't spin the wheels even with all the power the car has... Or on snow and ice, where the wheels spin almost spontaneously ?
