I always thought Fusion Reborn was a what if story. Like what if Gohan actually defeated Super Buu without him getting the chance of absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo. Then Goku would still be dead, Vegeta still be in hell, (Good) Majin Buu not around, and the only ones who can do something was Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. Besides Vegeta would've been still alive if Goku sacrifice himself with the Spirit Bomb.

I wrote a whole backstory for Nappa after his conversation with Vegeta after Season 2 of DBZA: Nappa, now a producer on low budget Indie films, takes a chance and casts a struggling actor named Hercule Satan for his next movie, Citizen Nappa. Citizen Nappa breaks box office records, wins 15 Academy Awards and solidifies Mr. Satan as a legitimate actor. Nappa has him sign an exclusive contract with his studio, then produces a string of action movies with Hercule in them. To help promote these action movies, Hercule wishes to attend the World Martial Arts Tournament, and Nappa secretly bribes the judges of the Tournament to make sure his biggest star wins, further boosting his image. However, Mr. Satan is unaware that Nappa rigged the tournament, and genuinely thinks that he's the strongest person alive, so his ego starts to get the best of him. Nappa and Mr. Satan clash creatively over the next movie, and the arguing gets so bad that Nappa wants to fire Hercule for insubordination, but realizes if he does, his studio might collapse. Enter Cell and his open invite for the Cell Games (sponsored by Hetab) Nappa gets a call from Hercule about the invite and, knowing that Cell is IMMENSELY more powerful and Hercule has a giant life insurance payout, decides to encourage Mr. Satan to participate. Why fire your biggest moneymaker and risk other studios snapping him up when you can just let him die of his own stupidity and re-release his movies as "Legacy Editions"?

Fusion Reborn is my favorite! I wish Janemba could have been a villain in the series, his final form has such a sweet design and I love the way they animated his teleportation ability with him disintegrating into cubes.

Regarding Fusion Reborn, my thought was that Super Buu had been taken care of by Gohan. Goku isn't needed and Vegeta is never brought back either. It's called 'Fusion Reborn' because fusion was still a plotpoint regarding Gotenks. The issue is that Potara is never brought up.
In the DBZ game 'Buu's Fury' they fit in Broly II and Fusion Reborn in the main story. Broly II occurs right when the heroes are searching for the dragon balls. (Videl doesn't show up, Goten and Trunks take him on alone). Fusion Reborn occurs right after Goku goes back to Other World once his time on Earth is up.

I think most of the movies are just what if stories, events that happened if some changes were made. •Dead zone is what happened if they beat Raditz no issue. •Tree of might, Slug, and worlds strongest are as Masakox describes it (Piccolo survives). •Cooler's story is what happened if the spirit bomb killed frieza (I say this because Goku takes his sweet time transforming into a super saiyan). It could also just be a nice little add-on rather than what-if, as it's events don't interfere with the main story. •Cooler's return is what happened if Gero was stopped by the Z-warriors (nobody was really surprised at Vegeta being a super saiyan here, so they must have seen it before). •13 and company is what happened if the z fighters stopped the other 3 androids, as Trunks still has his sword, and Goku doesn't suffer from the heart virus. • Broly's story has to go as Masako describes it here, as there isn't really any way you can place it that makes sense and has consistency in the sequels. •Bojack doesn't really have a what if. It can just be there no issue. •Janemba is the what if story where Goku kills Buu the first encounter. Goku mentions going ssj3 against Buu, Vegeta's in hell, goten and trunks still know fusion, and Gohan is still alive. All these conditions work fine as long as Buu was killed by Goku in their first encounter. •Wrath of the dragon is much like Bojack and cooler, in that it doesn't need what-if. It just fits in nicely. That's my take on the movies and what they exist as. Feel free to add your own thoughts here.
i think they really should have made bojacks movie canon seeing as it would make sense that he was released after goku took cell to king kais planet and he was free after cell blew up
Jake Holland I disagree on Cooler's Return. I tend to overlook the Dende thing, and pretend it ALSO happened during the 3 years before Gero. Goku and Cooler were the only ones who saw Super Saiyan Vegeta in the movie. And... Well, Cooler died, and Goku was out of commission when Vegeta went Super Saiyan in the show.
Trunks1stApprentice Well, as for Goku being out of commission, it's not like a recap of what he missed after the fight would be out of the realm of possibility. He'd surely ask about it. As for others not seeing Vegeta, they can still sense energy, and they definitely would felt Vegeta's after going super saiyan. But, since Dende was on the lookout at that time, that does throw a wrench in my original placement of the movie.

The only canon is the original manga by Toriyama. Literally everything else is supplementary non-canon material. (MAYBE the Bardock special because he was put into the manga after it aired and clearly written with that plot in mind)
The one character I would love to see Canon is Gogeta. While he himself is not canon, the concept (fusion dance) is. So he CAN be canon but there just needs to be a situation where it's necessary.
Cooler doesn't really fit for me. Vegeta isn't on Earth while Goku is, Goku can't go Super Saiyan at will, and it implies that Goku actually killed Freeza or Trunks hasn't shown up yet. It fits better in a timeline when Goku DID kill Freeza and came back to earth right away after Namek blew up. Broly TECHNICALLY fits but it's a bit of a stretch, namely that it happens in such a short time frame before the Cell Games. Gohan would've stood a much better chance against Broly given he should be the strongest one there. Bojack...actually fits perfectly. Probably helps it was written with help from Akira Toriyama. Wrath of the Dragon fits well too. Just put it in during the time when Buu was in hiding. Or if its in the timeline where Gohan just wiped out Super Buu and Fat Buu just doesn't exist any more.
Considering Frieza was revived at the end of the ToP and is back in control of his empire, AND given he refused to revive King Cold, I feel like Cooler is EXTREMELY possible to turn up in the main canon. It'd be weird for him to NOT turn up somehow in a way. Idk if he and Frieza would join forces against the heroes, or if they'd start fighting over territory and the heroes would have to stop both of them from causing destruction, or if Frieza would continue his learning to trust arc from the ToP and have to team up with Goku again because Cooler wants to obtain Broly's power for himself as well or something. Who knows! So many opportunities for unlikely alliances!

I always believed cooler to be in trunks timeline because Goku is alive and can go super saiyan. He instant transmitted to fight frieza and lived peacefully.

That's about the only way to make them work. You could even say that the Super 13 movie is the timeline where Trunks and the Z warriors defeat 17 and 18 before Trunks returns to his time (where he is then killed by Cell).
I actually liked another "Non-Canon" "Movie (?)" Villain, that being Hatchiyak. Now, I am not sure what his connection might be with Baby (Tuffle products and I think that Eradication of the Saiyans was planned a long after GT) but he could possibly fit somewhere, right?
The movies were always a weird thing about the franchise, and there are four I can put easily into canon despite a few plotholes: Dead Zone takes place before the arrival of Raditz, simple as that, Cooler's revenge takes place between Trunks killing Frieza and the Android Saga, Bojack Unbound takes place right after the the Cell Games and before Great Saiyaman, and Wrath of the Dragon obviously takes place right after the defeat of Kid Buu and sometime before Beerus visits Earth. Interestingly, in the GBA game "Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury", both the second Broly movie and Fusion Reborn are tied into the Buu Saga, with Broly's appearance happening when Goten and Trunks are searching for the Dragon Balls, and Fusion Reborn happening right after Goku returns to Other World.

This has me thinking. If Toriyama took all the movies and the series (as well as all of Super once it's done, Obviously) and redid Dragonball from the very beginning. What would he take out? What would he explore more upon? and what would he remove and Replace with?
I like to think that the conflicting movies take place in a timeline where Freeza noticed Vegeta and Nappa going to the middle of no where (Earth) for no apparent reason and called them off for whatever misson he wanted taken care of at the time. Goku get's revived as normal but the saiyans never arrived like they were suppose to. The battle that chased Vegeta off the planet never happens, leaving Turles and Slug to believe the planet isn't defended. After this, Freeza learns about the dragon balls through Raditz's scouter archive, remembers a similar legend about Namek by seeing Piccolo's face, timeline syncs up back to normal. And that's as much thought as I have put into this.
Jack Mehoff Yeah, but they went with the "alternate timelines" explanation, and I've always been a fan of things having a single timeline (not counting timelines directly created by time travel).
The alt timeline for the movies (and you can include GT in this as well for lols) could be canon. In Super, we see 5 time rings, one main one and 4 copies (alternative timelines). We know from the android arc in Z that at least 2 of those rings are explained, one is trunks and the other is cells. The main one can be the timeline you are actually in. The 4th ring could tie to Cell's timeline as Trunks in that timeline did also go back into the past. The 5th green ring was made by Beerus killing Zamasu, as Black was still wearing his time ring, so his younger self dying did not affect him at all. But other then the main (altered), main (unaltered / Blacks), Trunks and Cells, you got 2 time rings unexplained. Though one could tie to Cells, that leaves one open for speculation. It is important to note that Akira Toriyama did write the original storyline for both Xenoverse games (like he is doing with super) and did create Towa and Mira.

Probably not, Hit was able to keep up with SSB Goku and improved his techniques without much effort. There's also Frieza's race, maybe it's just him or the entire race but he was able to get stronger than Goku and Vegeta in just a few months, while it took them years of intense training to reach that level.
RobDog From what I understand, Frieza, his family, the Ginyu Force, Zarbon, Dodoria, and Cui were born with mutations in their DNA. Mutations that make them naturally strong without the need to train and so that even a short span of time spent training can increase their power brutally. And Hit isn't even from the same Universe as Goku, so does it really count?
Hit himself probably doesn't count but his race is in universe 7. Maybe they're like saiyans where they're not as strong or as versatile as their universal counterparts but we don't know that yet
Nope,the reason the saiyans and the hybrids are as strong as they are is because of special circumstances(or example vegeta got lucky that goku spared him and got zenkais and he got revived as well but their enemies did not have that luxury).Vegeta was considered a special prodigy yet he only had 18000 withought the zenkais and before he started training,elite saiyans like nappa had 4000 and low class warrior like radditz had 1300 only. Meanwhile frieza's weakest warriors(basically the folder like apule)had 2000-3000 each,the ginyu force,dodoria,zarbon were alll stronger than the special prodigy that was vegeta,not to mention how much stronger frieza and king cold were. Then we have the nameks,simple farmers had 3000-4000 each,those of warrior class like nail had 42000 and the original nameless namek who was not even of the warrior class yet was stronger than even frieza.
Interesting video. Though with Piccolo dying to kick off the Freeza arc, I would've had Piccolo sacrifice himself against Lord Slug to help Goku to sort of cement his turn-around.

i'd say it would be good if it were canon since in the movie broly was apprarently pissed at goku because he wouldn't stfu as a baby and kept waking him up with his constant crying, but timeline wise, i don't think it would make sense for it to happen then
I have three suggestions about the Movie Timelines: 1: Super 13 takes place in the 2nd or "Unseen" timeline, where Future Trunks went to the past but Cell didn't. In the Z main timeline, Androids 13 - 15 are destroyed when Krillin and Future Trunks destroy Gero's secret sub-basement. 2: BoG and Res. F take place in the main Z timeline which ends with Zamasu switching bodies with Goku and killing the Son family. Super takes place in the 5th timeline that Gowasu mentions to Zamasu as having been recently created. 3: The first three DB movies, all other Z films and all of GT take place in their own Secret Timeline. 4: Path to Power also exists somewhere, or somehow.
Basically.... Dead Zone- Yes End of Dragon Ball before beginning of Z Worlds Strongest- No Tree of Might- No Lord Slug- No Coolers Revenge- Yes After Trunks kills Frezia ( though the way Goku transforms to SSJ is wrong. Well Bardock IS a character in the series and the film (which is not that great btw) implies that Bardock is the ORIGINAL Legendary Super Saiyan that Vegeta talked about in the Namek saga.
Interesting fact, Bardock was actually a non-canon character made into canon. The T.V special of bardock was done before bardock's mention in the Manga, Toriyama did a small nod during the Namek Saga (more specifically Frieza's dialogue with Goku) with a panel displaying Bardock in reference to Toei's special.
Makes sense. It makes Bardock's story come full circle (minus meeting Goku) and also offers an explanation as to why Goku is so strong for a "low-class warrior" as Bardock had immense power hidden away inside of him, that he passed on to Goku. Poor Raditz.
MasakoX Bardock can't be the original super Saiyan because he's sent back in time to a younger version of Planet Vegeta which is called Planet Plant instead, this means the saiyans aren't on the planet so their legend can't be based on him.
The only problem I really see is that the Dragon Balls are used in the first four movies, putting a year in between them. So even if you set it so that Dead Zone happens when Gohan is 3, you're still adding three years to the timeline.
This actually works well with an idea I had. My thought was to remove Goku from World's Strongest, have Piccolo take his role, and maybe Tien take Piccolo's role. That would allow it to fit neatly into the beginning of the year of training. It wouldn't explain the other movies happening while Piccolo was dead, though.
I had an idea for a movie timeline if they make Xenoverse 3. Because even though I really enjoyed Xenoverse 2 you have to admit despite its tweaks, how many times can we visit the original DBZ timeline in video games. So here is my timeline. 1. Bardock Special 2. Deadzone 3. Arrival of Radditz (we need to tweak Goku and Vegeta's reaction to Gohan rage boosting since it will be his 2nd time) Nappa and Vegeta arrive --- Like you said Piccolo survives Nappas blast 4. The Worlds Strongest 5. Tree of Might --Turles: Traveled the Galaxy looking for suitable planets to plant the Tree of Might, and even though he was getting great power boost he knew that he could never measure up to Frieza and was afraid of being found out before he could gather enough strength. So he came to earth for the Dragon Balls for immortality. Frieza spied on Turles with a drone since he suspected that he was going to revolt and learned about the Dragon Balls and deduced that there were Dragon Balls on Namek which were much closer to him 6. Lord Slug: Plays out the same. Piccolo is killed in the Final Battle this time and Goku uses his false Super Saiyan form. They then learn from Slugs Ships computer that Slug originally wanted to go to Namek, but found out that Frieza went there. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma set out for Namek. Goku is hospitalized like in the Vegeta Saga 7. Frieza Saga: Plays out the same ---Trunks Warns of the Androids 8. Coolers Revenge 9. Metal Cooler ---Adroid 19 and Gero 10- Android 13: Instead Gero activates the other androids 11: Broly: As much as I like Cell he doesn't appear in my movie timeline 12. Hatchiyak ***The Dabura Saga: Instead of having Majin Dabura we have Dabura of the Demon Realm. The story would focus on a different story so Babidi would not be in the picture. I always wondered what if Dabura fought the Z fighters in the Cell game. Gohan will first turn SS2 vs Dabura 13. Bojack 14. The Return of Broly For a better story I am going to reverse these movies 15. Wrath of the Dragon: Goku and Vegeta are killed as they Simultaneously defeat the Hirudegarn. Vegeta severely weakens it with his Self Destruct. And Goku gets impaled by its tail, but finishes it off with the Dragon Fist. In this alteration of the story it was Towa from Xenoverse who manipulated the battle to take place on earth and gather the energy for Mira 16. Fusion Reborn: Mira starts creating havoc on earth to gather more energy from it's fighters. Gohan trains with the Z sword to fight Mira. Mystic Gohan overpowers Mira and this sends Towa in panic mode. She teleports to hell and breaks the spirit machine and it creates Janemba. Goku and Vegeta fight Janemba in Hell like normal and the beat Goku and Vegeta However sensing that Mira is about to be killed by Gohan she teleports Janemba to Gohan and Gohan gets overpowered. Towa tries to then force Janemba to transfer his essence to Mira to make him even more powerful. But it backfires and Janemba absored Mira's essence instead giving him an insane power boost. Goku and Vegeta are brought back by Baba's 24 hour spell and they fuse to stop Janemba Goku and Vegeta are wished back at some point 17. The Baby Saga: Baby is a more sympathetic villain as opposed to orignal DBGT as he really reflects on self righteous motivations. Also there will be a mention of Hatchiyak and Dr Lychee. I plan to make Baby Vegeta more powerful than before in this fight and it is actually Vegeta himself who breaks Baby's control periodically since he has crazy pride. Goku still needs the power up to defeat him. The battle ends with both of them exhausted, but Baby exists Vegetas body and tries to take over Goku except Vegeta stops him and destroys Baby. ( "I guess we are now even for when we fought Giny and they both laugh it off in the end.") Super 17 doesn't happen 18. Evil Shenron Saga If they ever make this a game I would have the Time Patroller be able to take main timeline DBZ and DBS characters to help them correct changes made to the universe timeline. It would be interesting to see how SS4 Goku and Vegeta interact with SSGSS Goku and Vegeta. Or Omega Shenron and Beerus . So this is my what if timeline. So no 17, 18, Cell, or Buu.

Well the change needed for that to happen would be grandpa gohan training under fortunteller baba instead of roshi, so oxe king and goku might have had an actual fight or longer fight depending on if you watch the show or read the manga
I have a topic suggestion for you, I have always wondered how the events of Dragon ball to DB SUPER would have been affected if Kami still trained Goku, BUT let Goku keep his tail. How would that have changed things?

He heads back to North Kai's planet. • The latter half of the Saiyan Saga, minus use of the dragon balls. • Namek...Trunks Sagas as per normal (~DZ +6Y) • Cooler's Revenge (early in the 3 years of training) • Return of Cooler (late in the 3 years of training) • Android Saga as per normal (~ DZ +9Y) • Super Android 13 occurs while 16-18 are gallivanting around the countryside • Imperfect Cell Saga • Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan happens during the 7 days • Perfect Cell and Cell Games Sagas • Shortly after the Cell Games, the Intergalactic World Tournament takes place. Younes Layachi King Yemma let him keep his body because Majin Buu was still around. After that he was going to hell. But because the dragon balls revived him for some reason, he never went to hell. Even Piccolo warned him that he was going to hell after he explodes.

Not trying to sound like a asshole but... The last part with the sprit bomb killing Goku, Vegeta and Kid Buu was so wrong. First, Goku could of went SSJ2 and BAM! Kid buu is dead. Second and hear me out on this one, the Spirit Bomb only damages evil, not good. Which means Goku would be affected by it.
I was thinking of placing Fusion Reborn right after Goku get's sent back to the underworld. Vegeta is dead from his sacrifice, Goku gets sent back after using SSJ3, Trunks and Goten learn how to fuse and Buu lives with Hercule.
I remember trying so hard to fit all the movie somewhere in the timeline back in elementary and middle school and I could only get half of them to fit in, but here comes this video and you make it look so easy.

Is it possible that Goku got facehugged on yardrat/while he was in space? Think about it, his "heart virus" actually would make more sense if it was a xenomorph. When you consider that Xenomorphs ascertain the host's DNA, it would explain why it was strong enough to cripple Goku.
What if Vegito was permanent after the Buu Saga? I know that they retconned it so Goku and Vegeta will always split now but I found their fused form really interesting.
This is a great theory, the only thing I would change though would be placing Bio-Broly right after the Buu arc ends. And I also think Broly second coming fits in perfectly, the difference in power between Gohan and Broly seemed right in line with where Gohan was in the anime.
...how does Cell do nothing about the world getting literally covered in deadly gasses o-o. Seems like kind of a deterrent from his whole big competition thing if everyone's dead.
I could always see Cell getting involved himself to help save the day...not because he's a good guy, but because keeping the world alive and well until the Cell games is relevant to his interests.
I always thought of the movie events as sort of alternate versions of what happened in the show. You say the dead zone was before raditz, but I say it's an allegory for the fight with raditz: gohan gets kidnapped by a big bad dude who introduces them to an entire new world (an aside: woulda been cool if there was stuff on the gap between DB and z where they go to the demon world a lot, could even be backstory to dabura) who forces Goku and piccolo to tag team and ultimately Gohan to have his first rage leading to the villain's defeat. Tree of might is an allegory for the fight with Vegeta and the fight with the ginyu force: turles, an elite Saiyan, shows up with his crew of powerful, if not freakish, aliens. They plant a tree much like Vegeta and nappa plant saibamen (which themselves are represented in world's strongest by the biomen) and with his crew complement and his own power level you can see how the villains in tree of might are like a mix of Vegeta/nappa and the ginyu force, with turles being like an amalgamation of Vegeta and captain ginyu. If this is true, then I suppose Lord slug would be analogous to the fight with freeza leading up to the ssj transformation.
If Piccolo doesnt die then why remove Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu? Theyd be wished back with the dragon balls within a year or less (If i remeber corectly, Kami DID reactivate the Dragon Balls early in the frieza saga)
Chiaotzu was already wished back once with the Earth Dragon Balls. They can't do it a second time. Unless Dende gave the Dragon Balls a power up after the Buu saga or something.
I have a different idea of how things play out. First, it'd be the Dead Zone Movie. Then, after The Saiyan Saga, I agree where Goku could get a Senzu right away, and then The World's Strongest and Lord Slug could happen. Remove Piccolo from both movies, though, because he'd still have to die, although he wasn't really major in either movie. After Namek, during the 1 year gap for Goku's return from Yardrat, have The Tree of Might, but replace Goku's roll in defeating Turles with Vegeta. After Trunks arrives and leaves, have Cooler's Revenge, and then have Super Android 13! a week or so before the real Androids arrive, and make it so Doctor Gero woke them up instead of being auto-activated. During the 10-day wait for Cell, have: The Return of Cooler; make Gohan a teen and SSj, enter Future Trunks, and make Cooler Strongest. Then, Hatchiyak. Then, Broly. After the Cell Games, Bojack. Broly's Second Coming right before the World Tournament. Add Piccolo and Vegeta. Fusion Reborn when Fat Buu and Hercule become friends and Goten and a Trunks are supposed to be training with Piccolo. Also, Bio-Broly would happen here, too. The rest are self-explanatory.
Thats almost the same as what I consider canon, haha. Fusion Reborn though. Exclude the weird-ass villains revival thing, and right after Goku is returned to the other-world he'd be told by Yemma that Janemba is wrecking havoc, Vegeta would be given back his body to help Goku, and then they'd fuse.
My mind literally just blew out of the side of my head. I came across this video because I'm in a DBZ kinda mood, and this was a random selection. Literally, as soon as you spoke, I knew you were Goku and Gohan's voice actor for Team Four Star. I listened on and checked. You, my friend, are awesome. Because I had no idea, you had an accent.

Wrath of the Dragon is my personal favorite. Tapion's back story leading into how trunks got his sword was unlike anything ive seen dragaon ball z do, at that time anyway.
I always thought Bojack Unbound fit in the timeline perfectly as it was, to me it was canon as there's plenty that could have happened between the Cell Saga and the Buu Saga.
Then what would Buu be doing the whole time all of Hell's escapee's were running amuck? Plus, Goten and Trunks already know Fusion Dance in it, which would mean it would have to take place even later in the Buu Saga when Super Buu was the one rampaging. There's no wiggle room in that saga for anything else to happen.
Be that as it may, that doesn't help what's seen in the human world. Undead are roaming the streets, Gohan is still a Super Saiyan--which makes it before Super Buu, since he isn't in Mystic Form--which means Majin Buu is still rampaging... and god damnit I just put a plot-hole in mine, yours, and Masako's theories with that, didn't I? Gotenks is a thing, Mystic Gohan isn't, and nobody seems fazed by the fact that Buu is probably rampaging somewhere. To paraphrase Elder Kai in Xenoverse 2, it looks like we're in a bit of a pickle. =/
Or they could just change the plot of the movie and have Buu battling all the villains instead, during his rampage. It would actually make for a more interesting confrontation with Buu meeting Freiza and Cell. Freiza and Cell are all like "I can finally have my revenge against the Saiyans and take over the planet mwahahahah" and then Buu comes along and tells them that he's already beaten Gohan, most of the Z-fighters and killed everyone on Earth. Imagine that. These two have vigorously struggled with the fact that they couldn't beat Goku/Gohan and take over the planet for years. And then they meet this guy (Buu). Who not only has beaten Gohan effortlessly, killed most of the Z-fighters (excluding Goku because he's already dead), but also took over the entire planet and annihilated the human race as well. The looks on their faces XD
To explain how it would take time for Freza to get the Dragon Balls on Namek, is that he could have been struggling to actually find it, either due to the Namekians making a wish that makes their planet difficult to locate without prior knowledge, or the galactic Patrol got in the way. As for Vegeta, Freza's soldiers could have been forced to put him in an older healing pod, or he spent time training, waiting for the location of Namek to be uploaded to a star map, then hops into the closest pod he can find.
I have a suggestion for a topic. If gods come in groups, how come King Kai's death doesn't affect any other gods? (Sorry if this was explained and I just missed it lol XD)
That could be because the Four Lowest Kais don't have any counterparts. This is interesting, though. This could mean the Universe only requires one God of Destruction but when you really look at it, the Four Kais plus Grand Kai plus Supreme Kai have to do the collective work of creation and nurturing. They, as a whole could metaphorically be called the God of Creation.

In "Dead Zone," Goku consults Bulma and Roshi to help him locate Garlic Jr's lair and Krillin showed up to help him fight. In episode 1 of DBZ neither Krillin, nor Bulma, nor Roshi have a clue who Gohan is and are shocked to learn Goku is a father. Sorry, there's no way for "Dead Zone" to be canon without the three of them having really bad short term memories.
What i like about Dragon Ball community is that they don't instantly hate on filler and movies simply because those weren't made by the original creator. I mean they do realize filler/movies are not canon, but still respect those things as a part of Dragon Ball. Heck certain filler episodes such as Gohan's birthday or Goku's driving lessons as well as characters like Baby, Broly, Cooler or Jenemba actually became fan favorite. Dragon Ball community for the most part respects non canon material... Unlike Bleach community who treats all and any filler as literally the worst thing since Hitler and actually advices on skipping it altogether without even letting you form your own opinion on it.
Broly movies were okay at most(Bio Broly one sucked though), but Broly as a character was widely accepted within the community. I mean heck he became so liked that a fusion of his and Gokus(Karoly) appeared on Dragon Ball Fusions cover.

I think Fusion reborn fits in better during the one day that Buu is hanging out with Mr. Satan. Vegeta is dead, Goku is dead, Goten and Trunks know how to fuse and since Goku has fought Majin Buu his line of "only Majin Buu has pushed me this far in battle before" still works.
One idea I was messing around with was what if the introduction of Trunks was combined with Cooler's Revenge simply by having Cooler replace his brother and the two are there to wipe out Earth in retaliation for disgracing their family name. Of course, one of the big difference is Trunks takes out Cooler instead, but like I said it's just an idea.
1) The first Cooler movie seems to happen before the arrival of Trunks since Goku has troubles controlling the ssj form and doesn't use instant transmition. I believe it would happen after the ressurection of Kuririn and before Goku completes it's training with the Yardrat. 2) I can only see the Return of Cooler happening during the three year training before the arrival of the androids, since goku still uses kaioken and Gohan beeing unable to transform into ssj. 3) Super Android 13 seems to happen just after Goku's recovering of the heart virus and Piccolo fighting Cell before he challenges Android 17. 4) Fusion Reborn seems to happen in the time period while Gohan is defeated by Majin Buu and Goku goes back to the Otherworld.
I always thought Fusion Reborn was a what if story. Like what if Gohan actually defeated Super Buu without him getting the chance of absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo. Then Goku would still be dead, Vegeta still be in hell, (Good) Majin Buu not around, and the only ones who can do something was Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. Besides Vegeta would've been still alive if Goku sacrifice himself with the Spirit Bomb.

Goten and Trunks didn't know fusion in Bio-Broly, which came after Buu was dead. They knew it in Fusion Reborn. Therefore, Gotenks might not have existed until after Buu.

I wrote a whole backstory for Nappa after his conversation with Vegeta after Season 2 of DBZA: Nappa, now a producer on low budget Indie films, takes a chance and casts a struggling actor named Hercule Satan for his next movie, Citizen Nappa. Citizen Nappa breaks box office records, wins 15 Academy Awards and solidifies Mr. Satan as a legitimate actor. Nappa has him sign an exclusive contract with his studio, then produces a string of action movies with Hercule in them. To help promote these action movies, Hercule wishes to attend the World Martial Arts Tournament, and Nappa secretly bribes the judges of the Tournament to make sure his biggest star wins, further boosting his image. However, Mr. Satan is unaware that Nappa rigged the tournament, and genuinely thinks that he's the strongest person alive, so his ego starts to get the best of him. Nappa and Mr. Satan clash creatively over the next movie, and the arguing gets so bad that Nappa wants to fire Hercule for insubordination, but realizes if he does, his studio might collapse. Enter Cell and his open invite for the Cell Games (sponsored by Hetab) Nappa gets a call from Hercule about the invite and, knowing that Cell is IMMENSELY more powerful and Hercule has a giant life insurance payout, decides to encourage Mr. Satan to participate. Why fire your biggest moneymaker and risk other studios snapping him up when you can just let him die of his own stupidity and re-release his movies as "Legacy Editions"?

It's called 'Fusion Reborn' because fusion was still a plotpoint regarding Gotenks. The issue is that Potara is never brought up.

In the DBZ game 'Buu's Fury' they fit in Broly II and Fusion Reborn in the main story. Broly II occurs right when the heroes are searching for the dragon balls. (Videl doesn't show up, Goten and Trunks take him on alone). Fusion Reborn occurs right after Goku goes back to Other World once his time on Earth is up.

I think most of the movies are just what if stories, events that happened if some changes were made.
•Dead zone is what happened if they beat Raditz no issue.
•Tree of might, Slug, and worlds strongest are as Masakox describes it (Piccolo survives).
•Cooler's story is what happened if the spirit bomb killed frieza (I say this because Goku takes his sweet time transforming into a super saiyan). It could also just be a nice little add-on rather than what-if, as it's events don't interfere with the main story.
•Cooler's return is what happened if Gero was stopped by the Z-warriors (nobody was really surprised at Vegeta being a super saiyan here, so they must have seen it before).
•13 and company is what happened if the z fighters stopped the other 3 androids, as Trunks still has his sword, and Goku doesn't suffer from the heart virus.
• Broly's story has to go as Masako describes it here, as there isn't really any way you can place it that makes sense and has consistency in the sequels.
•Bojack doesn't really have a what if. It can just be there no issue.
•Janemba is the what if story where Goku kills Buu the first encounter. Goku mentions going ssj3 against Buu, Vegeta's in hell, goten and trunks still know fusion, and Gohan is still alive. All these conditions work fine as long as Buu was killed by Goku in their first encounter.
•Wrath of the dragon is much like Bojack and cooler, in that it doesn't need what-if. It just fits in nicely.

Jake Holland I disagree on Cooler's Return. I tend to overlook the Dende thing, and pretend it ALSO happened during the 3 years before Gero. Goku and Cooler were the only ones who saw Super Saiyan Vegeta in the movie. And... Well, Cooler died, and Goku was out of commission when Vegeta went Super Saiyan in the show.

As for others not seeing Vegeta, they can still sense energy, and they definitely would felt Vegeta's after going super saiyan. But, since Dende was on the lookout at that time, that does throw a wrench in my original placement of the movie.

The one character I would love to see Canon is Gogeta. While he himself is not canon, the concept (fusion dance) is. So he CAN be canon but there just needs to be a situation where it's necessary.

Films like Cooler, Broly, Bojack and Wrath of the Dragon are pretty much just canon in my opinion because of how cleanly they fit into everything.

Cooler doesn't really fit for me. Vegeta isn't on Earth while Goku is, Goku can't go Super Saiyan at will, and it implies that Goku actually killed Freeza or Trunks hasn't shown up yet. It fits better in a timeline when Goku DID kill Freeza and came back to earth right away after Namek blew up.
Broly TECHNICALLY fits but it's a bit of a stretch, namely that it happens in such a short time frame before the Cell Games. Gohan would've stood a much better chance against Broly given he should be the strongest one there.
Bojack...actually fits perfectly. Probably helps it was written with help from Akira Toriyama. Wrath of the Dragon fits well too. Just put it in during the time when Buu was in hiding. Or if its in the timeline where Gohan just wiped out Super Buu and Fat Buu just doesn't exist any more.

Considering Frieza was revived at the end of the ToP and is back in control of his empire, AND given he refused to revive King Cold, I feel like Cooler is EXTREMELY possible to turn up in the main canon. It'd be weird for him to NOT turn up somehow in a way.
Idk if he and Frieza would join forces against the heroes, or if they'd start fighting over territory and the heroes would have to stop both of them from causing destruction, or if Frieza would continue his learning to trust arc from the ToP and have to team up with Goku again because Cooler wants to obtain Broly's power for himself as well or something. Who knows! So many opportunities for unlikely alliances!
Heck, now I want a Dragon Ball Z remake with all of these stories canonized.

That's about the only way to make them work. You could even say that the Super 13 movie is the timeline where Trunks and the Z warriors defeat 17 and 18 before Trunks returns to his time (where he is then killed by Cell).

The movies were always a weird thing about the franchise, and there are four I can put easily into canon despite a few plotholes: Dead Zone takes place before the arrival of Raditz, simple as that, Cooler's revenge takes place between Trunks killing Frieza and the Android Saga, Bojack Unbound takes place right after the the Cell Games and before Great Saiyaman, and Wrath of the Dragon obviously takes place right after the defeat of Kid Buu and sometime before Beerus visits Earth.
Interestingly, in the GBA game "Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury", both the second Broly movie and Fusion Reborn are tied into the Buu Saga, with Broly's appearance happening when Goten and Trunks are searching for the Dragon Balls, and Fusion Reborn happening right after Goku returns to Other World.

I like to think that the conflicting movies take place in a timeline where Freeza noticed Vegeta and Nappa going to the middle of no where (Earth) for no apparent reason and called them off for whatever misson he wanted taken care of at the time.
Goku get's revived as normal but the saiyans never arrived like they were suppose to. The battle that chased Vegeta off the planet never happens, leaving Turles and Slug to believe the planet isn't defended. After this, Freeza learns about the dragon balls through Raditz's scouter archive, remembers a similar legend about Namek by seeing Piccolo's face, timeline syncs up back to normal.
And that's as much thought as I have put into this.

There is a better timeline in the Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury for the movies and it fits well.... The first 3 movies are absent in these games.

The alt timeline for the movies (and you can include GT in this as well for lols) could be canon. In Super, we see 5 time rings, one main one and 4 copies (alternative timelines). We know from the android arc in Z that at least 2 of those rings are explained, one is trunks and the other is cells. The main one can be the timeline you are actually in. The 4th ring could tie to Cell's timeline as Trunks in that timeline did also go back into the past. The 5th green ring was made by Beerus killing Zamasu, as Black was still wearing his time ring, so his younger self dying did not affect him at all.
But other then the main (altered), main (unaltered / Blacks), Trunks and Cells, you got 2 time rings unexplained. Though one could tie to Cells, that leaves one open for speculation. It is important to note that
Akira Toriyama did write the original storyline for both Xenoverse games (like he is doing with super) and did create Towa and Mira.

Probably not, Hit was able to keep up with SSB Goku and improved his techniques without much effort. There's also Frieza's race, maybe it's just him or the entire race but he was able to get stronger than Goku and Vegeta in just a few months, while it took them years of intense training to reach that level.
RobDog From what I understand, Frieza, his family, the Ginyu Force, Zarbon, Dodoria, and Cui were born with mutations in their DNA. Mutations that make them naturally strong without the need to train and so that even a short span of time spent training can increase their power brutally.

Universe 6 and 7 are twins of one another so Whatever Rave Hit is part of also exists in Universe 7 just as Saiyans and Friezas Race exist in U6

Nope,the reason the saiyans and the hybrids are as strong as they are is because of special circumstances(or example vegeta got lucky that goku spared him and got zenkais and he got revived as well but their enemies did not have that luxury).Vegeta was considered a special prodigy yet he only had 18000 withought the zenkais and before he started training,elite saiyans like nappa had 4000 and low class warrior like radditz had 1300 only.
Meanwhile frieza's weakest warriors(basically the folder like apule)had 2000-3000 each,the ginyu force,dodoria,zarbon were alll stronger than the special prodigy that was vegeta,not to mention how much stronger frieza and king cold were.
Then we have the nameks,simple farmers had 3000-4000 each,those of warrior class like nail had 42000 and the original nameless namek who was not even of the warrior class yet was stronger than even frieza.

I have three suggestions about the Movie Timelines:
1: Super 13 takes place in the 2nd or "Unseen" timeline, where Future Trunks went to the past but Cell didn't. In the Z main timeline, Androids 13 - 15 are destroyed when Krillin and Future Trunks destroy Gero's secret sub-basement.
2: BoG and Res. F take place in the main Z timeline which ends with Zamasu switching bodies with Goku and killing the Son family. Super takes place in the 5th timeline that Gowasu mentions to Zamasu as having been recently created.
3: The first three DB movies, all other Z films and all of GT take place in their own Secret Timeline.
4: Path to Power also exists somewhere, or somehow.
I just remembered. Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! takes place in the same timeline as BoG. We know this, because Tarble is mentioned in BoG.

Well Bardock IS a character in the series and the film (which is not that great btw) implies that Bardock is the ORIGINAL Legendary Super Saiyan that Vegeta talked about in the Namek saga.
MasakoX Broly will always be THE Legendary Super Saiyan to me.
Interesting fact, Bardock was actually a non-canon character made into canon.
The T.V special of bardock was done before bardock's mention in the Manga, Toriyama did a small nod during the Namek Saga (more specifically Frieza's dialogue with Goku) with a panel displaying Bardock in reference to Toei's special.
Makes sense. It makes Bardock's story come full circle (minus meeting Goku) and also offers an explanation as to why Goku is so strong for a "low-class warrior" as Bardock had immense power hidden away inside of him, that he passed on to Goku. Poor Raditz.
MasakoX Bardock can't be the original super Saiyan because he's sent back in time to a younger version of Planet Vegeta which is called Planet Plant instead, this means the saiyans aren't on the planet so their legend can't be based on him.
The only problem I really see is that the Dragon Balls are used in the first four movies, putting a year in between them. So even if you set it so that Dead Zone happens when Gohan is 3, you're still adding three years to the timeline.
This actually works well with an idea I had. My thought was to remove Goku from World's Strongest, have Piccolo take his role, and maybe Tien take Piccolo's role. That would allow it to fit neatly into the beginning of the year of training. It wouldn't explain the other movies happening while Piccolo was dead, though.

I had an idea for a movie timeline if they make Xenoverse 3. Because even though I really enjoyed Xenoverse 2 you have to admit despite its tweaks, how many times can we visit the original DBZ timeline in video games.
So here is my timeline.

3. Arrival of Radditz (we need to tweak Goku and Vegeta's reaction to Gohan rage boosting since it will be his 2nd time)
Nappa and Vegeta arrive

--Turles: Traveled the Galaxy looking for suitable planets to plant the Tree of Might, and even though he was getting great power boost he knew that he could never measure up to Frieza and was afraid of being found out before he could gather enough strength. So he came to earth for the Dragon Balls for immortality. Frieza spied on Turles with a drone since he suspected that he was going to revolt and learned about the Dragon Balls and deduced that there were Dragon Balls on Namek which were much closer to him
6. Lord Slug: Plays out the same. Piccolo is killed in the Final Battle this time and Goku uses his false Super Saiyan form. They then learn from Slugs Ships computer that Slug originally wanted to go to Namek, but found out that Frieza went there. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma set out for Namek. Goku is hospitalized like in the Vegeta Saga
7. Frieza Saga: Plays out the same
---Trunks Warns of the Androids
8. Coolers Revenge
9. Metal Cooler
---Adroid 19 and Gero
10- Android 13: Instead Gero activates the other androids
11: Broly: As much as I like Cell he doesn't appear in my movie timeline

***The Dabura Saga: Instead of having Majin Dabura we have Dabura of the Demon Realm. The story would focus on a different story so Babidi would not be in the picture. I always wondered what if Dabura fought the Z fighters in the Cell game. Gohan will first turn SS2 vs Dabura

For a better story I am going to reverse these movies
15. Wrath of the Dragon: Goku and Vegeta are killed as they Simultaneously defeat the Hirudegarn. Vegeta severely weakens it with his Self Destruct. And Goku gets impaled by its tail, but finishes it off with the Dragon Fist. In this alteration of the story it was Towa from Xenoverse who manipulated the battle to take place on earth and gather the energy for Mira
16. Fusion Reborn: Mira starts creating havoc on earth to gather more energy from it's fighters. Gohan trains with the Z sword to fight Mira. Mystic Gohan overpowers Mira and this sends Towa in panic mode. She teleports to hell and breaks the spirit machine and it creates Janemba. Goku and Vegeta fight Janemba in Hell like normal and the beat Goku and Vegeta
However sensing that Mira is about to be killed by Gohan she teleports Janemba to Gohan and Gohan gets overpowered.
Towa tries to then force Janemba to transfer his essence to Mira to make him even more powerful. But it backfires and Janemba absored Mira's essence instead giving him an insane power boost. Goku and Vegeta are brought back by Baba's 24 hour spell and they fuse to stop Janemba
Goku and Vegeta are wished back at some point
17. The Baby Saga: Baby is a more sympathetic villain as opposed to orignal DBGT as he really reflects on self righteous motivations. Also there will be a mention of Hatchiyak and Dr Lychee. I plan to make Baby Vegeta more powerful than before in this fight and it is actually Vegeta himself who breaks Baby's control periodically since he has crazy pride. Goku still needs the power up to defeat him. The battle ends with both of them exhausted, but Baby exists Vegetas body and tries to take over Goku except Vegeta stops him and destroys Baby. ( "I guess we are now even for when we fought Giny and they both laugh it off in the end.")
Super 17 doesn't happen
18. Evil Shenron Saga
If they ever make this a game I would have the Time Patroller be able to take main timeline DBZ and DBS characters to help them correct changes made to the universe timeline. It would be interesting to see how SS4 Goku and Vegeta interact with SSGSS Goku and Vegeta. Or Omega Shenron and Beerus . So this is my what if timeline. So no 17, 18, Cell, or Buu.

• Raditz Saga happens per normal, except they are told it will take 3 years for Saiyans to arrive
• Goku is resurrected early during the years of training (DZ +1Y)
• World's Strongest (DZ +2Y), with Goku returning to Earth during the events of the movie
• Tree of Might as per normal (DZ +3Y)

The last part with the sprit bomb killing Goku, Vegeta and Kid Buu was so wrong.
First, Goku could of went SSJ2 and BAM! Kid buu is dead. Second and hear me out on this one, the Spirit Bomb only damages evil, not good. Which means Goku would be affected by it.
I was thinking of placing Fusion Reborn right after Goku get's sent back to the underworld. Vegeta is dead from his sacrifice, Goku gets sent back after using SSJ3, Trunks and Goten learn how to fuse and Buu lives with Hercule.

Is it possible that Goku got facehugged on yardrat/while he was in space? Think about it, his "heart virus" actually would make more sense if it was a xenomorph. When you consider that Xenomorphs ascertain the host's DNA, it would explain why it was strong enough to cripple Goku.
What if Vegito was permanent after the Buu Saga? I know that they retconned it so Goku and Vegeta will always split now but I found their fused form really interesting.
This is a great theory, the only thing I would change though would be placing Bio-Broly right after the Buu arc ends. And I also think Broly second coming fits in perfectly, the difference in power between Gohan and Broly seemed right in line with where Gohan was in the anime.

I always thought of the movie events as sort of alternate versions of what happened in the show. You say the dead zone was before raditz, but I say it's an allegory for the fight with raditz: gohan gets kidnapped by a big bad dude who introduces them to an entire new world (an aside: woulda been cool if there was stuff on the gap between DB and z where they go to the demon world a lot, could even be backstory to dabura) who forces Goku and piccolo to tag team and ultimately Gohan to have his first rage leading to the villain's defeat. Tree of might is an allegory for the fight with Vegeta and the fight with the ginyu force: turles, an elite Saiyan, shows up with his crew of powerful, if not freakish, aliens. They plant a tree much like Vegeta and nappa plant saibamen (which themselves are represented in world's strongest by the biomen) and with his crew complement and his own power level you can see how the villains in tree of might are like a mix of Vegeta/nappa and the ginyu force, with turles being like an amalgamation of Vegeta and captain ginyu. If this is true, then I suppose Lord slug would be analogous to the fight with freeza leading up to the ssj transformation.

I have a different idea of how things play out.
First, it'd be the Dead Zone Movie.
Then, after The Saiyan Saga, I agree where Goku could get a Senzu right away, and then The World's Strongest and Lord Slug could happen. Remove Piccolo from both movies, though, because he'd still have to die, although he wasn't really major in either movie.
After Namek, during the 1 year gap for Goku's return from Yardrat, have The Tree of Might, but replace Goku's roll in defeating Turles with Vegeta.
After Trunks arrives and leaves, have Cooler's Revenge, and then have Super Android 13! a week or so before the real Androids arrive, and make it so Doctor Gero woke them up instead of being auto-activated.
During the 10-day wait for Cell, have:

Wrath of the Dragon is my personal favorite. Tapion's back story leading into how trunks got his sword was unlike anything ive seen dragaon ball z do, at that time anyway.

I always thought Bojack Unbound fit in the timeline perfectly as it was, to me it was canon as there's plenty that could have happened between the Cell Saga and the Buu Saga.

Then what would Buu be doing the whole time all of Hell's escapee's were running amuck? Plus, Goten and Trunks already know Fusion Dance in it, which would mean it would have to take place even later in the Buu Saga when Super Buu was the one rampaging. There's no wiggle room in that saga for anything else to happen.
Time passes much more quickly in other world, like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Problem solved. Buu is moving really slow by comparison.
Be that as it may, that doesn't help what's seen in the human world. Undead are roaming the streets, Gohan is still a Super Saiyan--which makes it before Super Buu, since he isn't in Mystic Form--which means Majin Buu is still rampaging... and god damnit I just put a plot-hole in mine, yours, and Masako's theories with that, didn't I?
Gotenks is a thing, Mystic Gohan isn't, and nobody seems fazed by the fact that Buu is probably rampaging somewhere. To paraphrase Elder Kai in Xenoverse 2, it looks like we're in a bit of a pickle. =/

Or they could just change the plot of the movie and have Buu battling all the villains instead, during his rampage. It would actually make for a more interesting confrontation with Buu meeting Freiza and Cell.
Freiza and Cell are all like "I can finally have my revenge against the Saiyans and take over the planet mwahahahah"
and then Buu comes along and tells them that he's already beaten Gohan, most of the Z-fighters and killed everyone on Earth.
Imagine that. These two have vigorously struggled with the fact that they couldn't beat Goku/Gohan and take over the planet for years. And then they meet this guy (Buu). Who not only has beaten Gohan effortlessly, killed most of the Z-fighters (excluding Goku because he's already dead), but also took over the entire planet and annihilated the human race as well. The looks on their faces XD
To explain how it would take time for Freza to get the Dragon Balls on Namek, is that he could have been struggling to actually find it, either due to the Namekians making a wish that makes their planet difficult to locate without prior knowledge, or the galactic Patrol got in the way.
As for Vegeta, Freza's soldiers could have been forced to put him in an older healing pod, or he spent time training, waiting for the location of Namek to be uploaded to a star map, then hops into the closest pod he can find.

I could be wrong, but I think that's only true for Supreme Kais in relation to Gods of Destruction.

That could be because the Four Lowest Kais don't have any counterparts.
This is interesting, though. This could mean the Universe only requires one God of Destruction but when you really look at it, the Four Kais plus Grand Kai plus Supreme Kai have to do the collective work of creation and nurturing. They, as a whole could metaphorically be called the God of Creation.
The grand kai isn't technically cannon and the others kaio's aren't but we can assume there are four kaio's and kaioshin being the gods of creation.

In "Dead Zone," Goku consults Bulma and Roshi to help him locate Garlic Jr's lair and Krillin showed up to help him fight. In episode 1 of DBZ neither Krillin, nor Bulma, nor Roshi have a clue who Gohan is and are shocked to learn Goku is a father. Sorry, there's no way for "Dead Zone" to be canon without the three of them having really bad short term memories.
What i like about Dragon Ball community is that they don't instantly hate on filler and movies simply because those weren't made by the original creator. I mean they do realize filler/movies are not canon, but still respect those things as a part of Dragon Ball. Heck certain filler episodes such as Gohan's birthday or Goku's driving lessons as well as characters like Baby, Broly, Cooler or Jenemba actually became fan favorite. Dragon Ball community for the most part respects non canon material... Unlike Bleach community who treats all and any filler as literally the worst thing since Hitler and actually advices on skipping it altogether without even letting you form your own opinion on it.

Broly movies were okay at most(Bio Broly one sucked though), but Broly as a character was widely accepted within the community. I mean heck he became so liked that a fusion of his and Gokus(Karoly) appeared on Dragon Ball Fusions cover.

I think Fusion reborn fits in better during the one day that Buu is hanging out with Mr. Satan. Vegeta is dead, Goku is dead, Goten and Trunks know how to fuse and since Goku has fought Majin Buu his line of "only Majin Buu has pushed me this far in battle before" still works.

One idea I was messing around with was what if the introduction of Trunks was combined with Cooler's Revenge simply by having Cooler replace his brother and the two are there to wipe out Earth in retaliation for disgracing their family name. Of course, one of the big difference is Trunks takes out Cooler instead, but like I said it's just an idea.

Thanks so much for this. Ive been trying to fit the movies in for my personal timeline.
1) The first Cooler movie seems to happen before the arrival of Trunks since Goku has troubles controlling the ssj form and doesn't use instant transmition. I believe it would happen after the ressurection of Kuririn and before Goku completes it's training with the Yardrat.
2) I can only see the Return of Cooler happening during the three year training before the arrival of the androids, since goku still uses kaioken and Gohan beeing unable to transform into ssj.
3) Super Android 13 seems to happen just after Goku's recovering of the heart virus and Piccolo fighting Cell before he challenges Android 17.
4) Fusion Reborn seems to happen in the time period while Gohan is defeated by Majin Buu and Goku goes back to the Otherworld.
