Yep, we got our first start of winter here too in KC! We got 9 inches where we are and a couple more expected tomorrow (Friday) and I think a little more to come Sunday!! Plus it's supposed to get COLD. I agree with the fresh and clean start after getting Christmas taken down....it just feels more peaceful to me. We do leave some white twinkle lights up year round foe the warmth over/behind our fireplace/TV. The kids and I have been starting to work on a few little Valentines Day decorations and Ieft out a few "winter" decorations too. God bless you!

Good morning. In Florida, we're getting lots of rain and rubber boots are a must. So....your snow looks beautiful to me. One thing that I really like about winter and the cooler weather is that I sleep much better. Always enjoy your videos.

Hey Emily! I loved your video. The chili looked super yummy too. Funny, fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I like spring as well. I just really don't care for summer. Way too hot in North Carolina!!
Oh, yes! I can totally understand that. When we lived in Florida, I didn’t care for summer either. So hot and humid. I’m glad you like winter though and hope it’s a great year for you!
Hi Emily, Happy New Year! My goals for 2024 are to start baking my own bread and rolls for burgers etc. I would really love to start the whole sourdough thing.

Hi Emily! I'm also trying to quit coffee. I have been trying for years actually but this year I'm determined to do it. 11 days into the new year though and I have not been successful 😞 if you do find any tips or tricks please make a video!! So many moms rely on coffee and really wanna quit but can't! Thanks for all you do!
Great minds think alike! Yes, it is a hard habit to break. I have slowly been cutting back, but not quite there yet. I’ll be sure to share what worked for me when I’m finally able to break the habit!
