There are 122 vaults in game lore as far as we know 31-33 are the only interconnected vaults. The vaults are spread across the US.

well to be fair its 2077..fallout is actually way more advanced then we are now they just haven't discovered the Microchip so everything is large and ackward looking. they also didn't have Elvis or the Beetles which is why they still listen to old style music Rock N Roll never happened.
@@AlbertoMartinez765 I don't know about the Elvis bit, considering in Fallout: New Vegas, there's The Kings faction. They believed their Headquarters in Freeside (The King's School of Impersonation) to be a place of worship due to the posters and holotapes all of one man, whose real name could not be found, but was only known as "The King", which is of his nicknames. So, it seems to me he existed in the Fallout timeline.

To be fair, it's a safe bet Maximus has never had the benefit of sex education, and nobody in the Brotherhood probably sat down with him and had "the talk". So it's a safe bet he had very few ideas about exactly how sexual intimacy works, or even what's expected of a good partner. It's not as though the wasteland has a wealth of examples, or even readily consumable media for him to draw examples from.
