I’m an OG cafe racer guy from way back. You young guys need to appreciate us for riding old bikes that we built ourselves. And now you guys get all this cool stuff outa the box!
Update, Lost my job , had to cancel my bike. I was waiting too long for it anyway. I had other things I wanted to do. I will get one, just not right now.
@@levelupwithsam I had a ninja 400 (which is essentially same frame and handling as the 500) then I bought an Aprilia 660. The upside down front forks on the Aprilia make it way way more stable and confidence inspiring than the Kwaka. Yes the engine HP and Torque figures are similar on the spec sheet but the 270 degree firing order makes the Aprilia sound and feel a whole lot better than the 180 deg Ninja.
@@Al-df7np there really isn't a close track near me and even if there was it's kinda pricey to race your motorcycle. I'd like to do it someday but right now I'm raising kids and focusing on my future. the 2024 Ninja 500 SE was just right for me.
I hadn’t even considered that, but I agree. If I could have this power plant in a sub 400lb lightweight adventure bike I would definitely be interested in getting one
The CFmoto 449ss is cheaper for a reason. The Aprilia RS 457 has a lot more torque and is ride-by-wire which allows an available quickshifter with autoblipper. The only thing better about the CFmoto is the built in gps tracker.

As I wrestle with my $100 RD350...
I have this on order. My order date is 2/21/24. I have not received my bike yet. I ordered the prismatic dark

Impatiently waiting for my order. Aprilia just emailed me sometime in June, let's gooooooooooo!
I can’t wait for it to become available in the US
For me the only competitor is the SR450, because it's the only two with such great engines.
Can't wait to see someone put the Aprilia next to the Ninja 500 and do a proper head to head.
Ninja 500 is nothing in front of RS457 in terms of Racing.
I'd love to see a fair comparison, I think we'd be all surprised by how close both the bikes end up being.

@@Al-df7npyou're comparing a 400 to a 660? That's stupid
Aprilia, PLEASE put this engine in a Tuareg.

Not a fan of high mount clip-ons
Gonna need a new triple clamp and clip-ons
Be patient. Like 20 years...
Great induction noise.
Been hearing people say "squishy breaks"
must be. MY RC390 had the same brake and it was useless and replaced.
CF moto 450 ss will be a bit cheaper...
I’ve got the 450SRS and it’s a fantastic bike with all the tech you want! I think it’s lighter than the RS457 too.
@@mervyoung5397The 450ss is heavier. It has a claimed weight of 370 lbs. It's actually 398 lbs on the scale. The RS 457 is an actual 385 lbs.

But Chinese Cheap cannot be compared with Italian beast
@@gireeshkumar511 Cannot compare with Indian beast. I'm naming mine Chandra, traditional Indian name.

From the bits of the track you can see, the pavement looks in terrible shape.
Just like my local roads!
