At this moment am at the end of Sekiro and in two days time I will become another Shinobi, from Tsushima! Thanks man for your great work!
Good strategy for the two apes is that when the Headless one does his terror scream, you can back away as usual and the brown one will charge at you. Great opportunity to firecracker her and get some hits in while the Headless is still doing his terror animation. Should only need two or three goes at that and she'll be done.
When i started playing Sekiro I hadn't even got past the horse guy and I already rot essence on almost everybody I had spoken too. Thanks to your guides and tip now I beat headless ape and his wife one try without long spark, you are a God thanks!

I’m new to fromsoft since elden ring but have caught onto its mechanics quickly as I love fighting games :) This game is so insanely good, I can’t believe it didn’t receive dlc or more hype to do so. I love how this game is so much less of the RPG elements (when compared DS titles) and so much more focused onto combat mechanics. There are for sure so many places and enemies that almost force you to fight a specific way, whereas a game like elden ring there are tons of hardships to overcome but there are many ways to skin that cat in elden ring. I went of on a tangent, but I love how other fromsoftware games has been along the lines of “here’s a hard boss, kill it any way you can”, whereas sekiro is like teaching discipline and knowing that choosing your time wisely can be much more effective than being extra aggressive all the time. Granted, that also means you must learn to know when you give too much discipline. If you can’t tell I love this game
Well said I hadn't play any before I payed elden Ring then I beat Bloodborne then most of dark souls 3 now I'm absolutely loving sekiro ( I think its hands down my favorite) the sense of accomplishment I get after beating a heart throbbing "literally" boss is like no other and the engaging combat is so next level ... Not to mention how you feel like a turtle and dark souls and you just zip around I'm Sekiro it's so against the grain of what we know damn it's good ... Alot of people love Bloodborne but Sekiro is my Bloodborne of the franchise honestly
Man you made this fight look easier than it was, but with your help I did it on my first attempt. Couldn’t do it without you Cowboy! Also, the lilac umbrella projected force attack does crazy posture damage to the Shichimen Warrior. I only used one confetti to take him down!
MATERIAL FARMING GUIDE: (Especially if you are wanting to upgrade as many of your prosthetic tools as possible before Castle Seige) **Be sure to ring the Demon Bell for the Sinister Burden effect! Unless in NG+, some of these items will not drop without it. -Adamantite Scrap & Scrap Magnatite: Sempou Temple - Main Hall. Farm the 3 Sempou Temple Monks (Scarecrow looking dudes) for tons of Scrap Mag and a pretty decent Adamantite drop rate. -Fulminated Mercury: Ashina Depths - Poison Pool. Though Black & Yellow Gunpowder drop often from these enemies, you will have to be very patient for the Mercury to drop. You can farm these materials from the 3 Cannon Gunners patrolling the area before the entrance to the 2nd Guardian Ape fight. -Lump of Fat Wax: Ashina Depths - Mibu Village. Fairly high drop rate from the Purple Poison Kickboxing Wolfwaster dude sitting bellow the idol, in the ravine. (Doesn't require Sinister Burden) -Lump of Grave Wax: Unfortunately, other than the 4(?) you should have picked up by this point, you will not be able to farm this item from enemies until you reach Fountainhead Palace. When fighting the headless ape: once you stun him and knock him down, use your spiral spear and press R2 twice and it will pull out the centipede from his neck, causing huge damage to his health and posture.
Got through the double apes thanks to your guide ! Appreciate it man sincerely also if you use two upgraded fireworks on the second ape it’s an instant death blow makes for a much easier fight !

I think you need both items to get the castle closed off.
you know, I thought I wasn't going to be able take this boss since I had trouble with only ONE great ape. Beat this boss on the first try. Only went for it because 1. I learned about this boss via your vid, and 2. The fight was recent, so the muscle memory/instinct is there. Feels good!
For anyone that takes this game on late like I have. You can just parry the Shichimen Warriors beam..seeing you parry all game long it comes pretty natural, I didn’t miss one during the fight. With confetti it’s easy mode
That's so crazy fighting the headless ape the second time with another ape involved was easier than the first fight. I had the same experience as others and beat them on the first try, just use fire on the other ape and you already know how to parry the headless. So cool! Thanks for all your videos!
Thank you for your helpful walkthrough, I had some learning to do with the first guardian ape and I just defeated the headless ape first try! Thank you so much
For those having trouble spawning the Shichimen Warrior: you need to purchase the valley apparitions memo from fujioka merchant who sits near dilapidated temple.
I think it appears only after a certain period. I beat the double apes around the time of going to the fountainhead, then unlocked the then new statue of ape den. When I rested at a different statue, noticed the area was locked. So I went there from a nearby area and found the shichimen warrior ready. Didn’t even buy the memo.
When playing up until this point I found that Ashina Castle underutilized because it's such a cool aesthetic area, I'm glad I get to play through it again.
I take me around 4hrs to defeat guardian ape first time and in second fight i kill him and his wife at first try. I use spiral spear for for first death blow and when his wife appears i used shinobi fire crackers and mortal draw. I still can’t believe and kill them all in first try.
So I picked up the lotus flower... Before talking to Kuro & giving him the rice from the Divine Child. Does this mean I won't get the ending? I've been through 18 walk throughs just to screw myself over. Ugh.
He literally says not to pick it yet until you’ve done all that if you’ve been following the 17 walkthroughs like you say. That being said, Hopefully there is a way around it tho, that is pretty annoying if there isn’t. If not I’d just concentrate on alternate endings and do this ending in the next play through.
Christopher Brown I paused the video & picked the flower before he even said that. There is a way around it, but it's later on. No worries though, I'm already on NG+3. Almost have all the endings completed now.
Hands down you’re the best when it comes to games like this and helping people. I got stuck early in the game and I started watching you videos now I’m able to defeat bosses like the two apes in one try. Mad respect to you fighting cowboy definitely about to sub
Tip for ape: use spiral sphere after getting him on the ground, when you use it, pull it back out by pressing the same button, it pulls out the centipede, doing a lot of posture damage.
lilac umbrela vs shichimen warrior without confetti is ez to because u know the smoke that comes of u after blocking some projectiles it means that ure charged and then use ure projected force and it deals a bunch a dmg and all u do is just shield, get charged, wait till hes still and smack
The lilac umbrella plus projected force absolutely WRECKS the schichimen warrior. Just turtle under the umbrella and he cannot hurt you at all, with any of his attacks except that initial AOE
For HeadLess.... First from this Part I killed it second try! And best tip was to use this consumable for bigger damage and... Mist Raven!!! When you get behind it in split second it can do nothing you!!! And you can deal ton of damage! But you need to be locked on! This Mist Raven is better actually then shield for Headless. As when you behind it, it cannot attack you! ;)
Took me around 30+ deaths to kill it first time. I managed to memorize its every attack pattern depending on distance. 😅 And defeated these 2 apes on my first try. 😄
okay just beat the two apes second try demon bell on like im so cracked at the game and its thanks to this guys walktrough. i first played this game like 2 years ago and never beat it but oh man have i improved also, i feel like the key to this game and probably most souls games is just keeping your head cool and staying calm and not panicking when ur about to beat a boss and fucking up and dying
Guardians Ape Borrow doesnt get greyed our for me and there is no shichman warrior fight for me...why does he not appear? I did everything like in your walkthrough videos from the beginning.
Apparently if you travel to Midu village, that’s far enough to activate the next boss fight you were speaking of. Btw ty for this, I can’t believe how many prayer beads I missed out on.
I somehow missed the Abandoned Dungeon entrance during my playthrough at this point. Unfortunately, I have already grabbed the flower and the Ashina travel locations are out. How do I continue, lost on where to go?
For some reason I liked fighting big enemies. Boss monkey was easy for me and the double ape as well was easy to telegraph the movements and did them the first time. Of course this guide helped as well. Now the corrupted monk boss battle was the real struggle for me in this game.
Happened to stumble back to the merchant near the fight with gyobu and realized he sells a gourd seed that you didn't tell us about! But nonetheless these guides are amazing and I wouldnt have made it close to this far if it wasn't for them

I had the same experience as others and beat them on the first try, just use fire on the other ape and you already know how to parry the headless. So cool! Thanks for all your videos!
If you arrive at the Douple Apes stage from the Hidden Forest you can attack him from behind and get a lot of hits before he starting attacking you
thankyou bro! this is an excellent strategy. I got it down to about 1/4 health and almost broke its posture before the fight even began xD
Crystal Mind same problem with me rn, were u able to find out what u need to do?
Crystal Mind worked thanks dude
I think it appears only after a certain period. I beat the double apes around the time of going to the fountainhead, then unlocked the then new statue of ape den. When I rested at a different statue, noticed the area was locked. So I went there from a nearby area and found the shichimen warrior ready. Didn’t even buy the memo.
i bought the memo but he still wasn't there
@@marklopez2843 you need to buy the finger whistle prosthetic tool too
Wow, after dying like 200 times to the Guardian ape. I was able to do this one first try. Thanks for these amazing guides Cowboy
"Rice on crack" Lmao. you're hella funny!
When playing up until this point I found that Ashina Castle underutilized because it's such a cool aesthetic area, I'm glad I get to play through it again.
I ignored the second ape and just ran and hit headless very good choice
I take me around 4hrs to defeat guardian ape first time and in second fight i kill him and his wife at first try. I use spiral spear for for first death blow and when his wife appears i used shinobi fire crackers and mortal draw. I still can’t believe and kill them all in first try.
Normally I don't watch videos to get by but this game never lets up. Thanks for the post. However you beat this game it's an accomplishment lol.
So I picked up the lotus flower... Before talking to Kuro & giving him the rice from the Divine Child. Does this mean I won't get the ending? I've been through 18 walk throughs just to screw myself over. Ugh.
What do you do now??? I ran into the same problem…. Game is stuck and won’t progress…. I have th lotus flower and nothing has changed???? WTF!?!?!?
Alin Serban Iuliu Is has changed! You just don't know it yet! Try going to Ashina Castle!
Achilles Aom Try going to Ashina Castle!
I can’t believe I did the two apes at first try
same here, dont know how but the fight was very underwhelming
Did it second try with the help of the mortal blade and firecrackers.
Ape: +10 tries
Ape with girlfriend: 1st try
I did it in second try and don't know what happened, but I suddenly realized I killed them and I'm shaking to death from stress
First playthrough and I’m first trying these bosses all because of you bro 23:42
I can’t wait until you reach isshin’s good ending boss fight , that shis is so fun but still challenging!
hes going for true ending he get one after that
After learning his entire moveset the first time we fight him this fight was super fun
lilac umbrela vs shichimen warrior without confetti is ez to because u know the smoke that comes of u after blocking some projectiles it means that ure charged and then use ure projected force and it deals a bunch a dmg and all u do is just shield, get charged, wait till hes still and smack
this was super helpful! thank you!
The lilac umbrella plus projected force absolutely WRECKS the schichimen warrior.
Just turtle under the umbrella and he cannot hurt you at all, with any of his attacks except that initial AOE
No divine confetti needed.
Woohoo. 1 attempt! Fightincowboy is making me a beast in Sekiro!
Hey damn right he is he making me a beast to lol
After I get done with DS3, Imma try this game
The fact you did the headless without Malcontent should be an achievement in it self
"That ability just...Shreks people!" Shrek is love. Shrek is life. Unleash your inner ogre with Ashina Cross.
for as many bosses require confetti you would think it was more abundant
Literally the worst part of the game
17:05 You can farm mercury in "Gun Fort" idol by killing gunners there with the Bell Demon buff.
Thanks maybe now l can get lazulite sabimaru, my final upgrade.
If you’re running low on confetti you can farm the samurai from “Upper Tower - Antechamper” idol, it’s a rare drop but still a drop none the less
I swear I actual had dragon rot in real life once. Good times
Sorry got killed by Obama cause I asked for the n-word pass needed like 2 revives to beat him
That’s called pneumonia
Pretty sure I had a stomach bug so bad it felt like I had one of those Immortal centipedes in my gut.
Wait til you guys learn about Corona virus its literally dragonrot
bruh the "holding left on the dpad" thing wouldve helped me so much in early game
As when you behind it, it cannot attack you! ;)
Can I just say, I defeated both apes on my first try...I can't explain the joy. OMG!!😁😁
Guys Mortal Blade is the way to go..and have patience for the opening...don't rush
Took me around 30+ deaths to kill it first time. I managed to memorize its every attack pattern depending on distance. 😅 And defeated these 2 apes on my first try. 😄
lmao 30+
@@um8814 🤣 yeah
okay just beat the two apes second try demon bell on like im so cracked at the game and its thanks to this guys walktrough. i first played this game like 2 years ago and never beat it but oh man have i improved
also, i feel like the key to this game and probably most souls games is just keeping your head cool and staying calm and not panicking when ur about to beat a boss and fucking up and dying
my problem is i have no divine confetti and i can’t farm ashina elites as the basically all the castle idols are not available to travel to
Just get the phoenix shield :)
You should've farmed the monks
Wrecked Guardian Ape and his wife first time by following this guide. Thanks again!
How was the double ape fight easier for me than the hidden forest headless?🙄🙄 I still haven't killed that headless.
Edit: Headless defeated
Probably cause the Headless are dicks that slow you down and terror you
me too
@@oscard.9705 Yes they r very scary they make u have terror
Lilac umbrella with projected force are your best friends. No divine confetti needed
You kinda have pleasure tilting ppl with the fast city change =P
Great VID !
Can't believe I beat the two apes on my second try.
Holy shit, I beat the double ape fight first try with your long spark advice!
Thanks a bunch, dude!
Got the double apes 1st try no deaths 5 gourds left. Spear on the headless oil and flame vent on the Mrs.
I killed first the white one and the brown one disappeared.
Thanks for walkthrough! Very helpful!
I somehow missed the Abandoned Dungeon entrance during my playthrough at this point. Unfortunately, I have already grabbed the flower and the Ashina travel locations are out. How do I continue, lost on where to go?
you just have to get into the Abandoned Dungeon somehow. you can get there from Senpou Temple by going back down the elevator and backtracking
@@voxombrae Thank you, I got it.
OMG got to this point two years ago....just did this boss on my second try only mortal blade and no spirit emblems...so stoked.
note . u have to take rice 3 times before see asks for persimmon
Hahahahaha @4:25 "are you kidding me!?, that ability just Shreks people" it really is amazing. That's Virgil's go fuck yourself sword slash. Lol
Expectation: be beaten by the apes Reality: be beaten by the camera
For some reason I liked fighting big enemies. Boss monkey was easy for me and the double ape as well was easy to telegraph the movements and did them the first time. Of course this guide helped as well. Now the corrupted monk boss battle was the real struggle for me in this game.
I just followed everything and picked up the lotus but the castle hasn’t reset. Any advice?

This should help u
Happened to stumble back to the merchant near the fight with gyobu and realized he sells a gourd seed that you didn't tell us about! But nonetheless these guides are amazing and I wouldnt have made it close to this far if it wasn't for them
what?! where??
Yep, I was wondering how I had one more than him
Are you missing a gourd seed? I have 9 hours heals
I also have 9 whats the max number of gourds u can have i think its 10 not sure🤔
@@blackneotheone2978 i believe its 9 i checked the wiki to make sure i have everything i need before taking the lotus correct me if im wrong tho (or maybe there's 9 gourd seeds but u get 10 heals total idr)
@@timklafke4712 no it ten u get the last one in fountainhead palace inside a temple before u fight the divine dragon
He has one in his inventory which he didn't give to Emma yet. It was from in the Mibu village.
The final seed is later on.
love your walkthrough cowboy! thanks a lot
To be fair you ran away from a couple bosses that could’ve def gave you a death
The anti air deathblow is beyond satisfying lmao i didnt get one thr first time i fought the warrior but this time i had the knowledge and dude was straight up cooked
what if i dont have any confetti?
Farm it
The elites in ashina castle' if the seige asn't begun
i am facing a problem i picked up the flower but the ashina castle did not grey out? did i miss something? @fightincowboy
Just follow the series
@@FightinCowboy i followed the series step by step, i really do not know what happened.
@@TheSimpleking Did you get the shelter stone after the corrupted monk?
@@FuckNoSkool LOL i forgot .. i thought the game crashed on me or something like that.. thank you very much now i can continue in peace xD
@@TheSimpleking Glad I could help, I missed it too
I know I'm late as hell but so far both headless and this other guy in the ape room are imposable wit you don't have any confetti and it relying pissing me off cause I followed your walkthrough all this way and somehow im out and you got tons i have to use at lest two on most fights that needed it and yea. wonderful walkthrough btw
7:12 Bro I was like use the gourd seed you have extra!!
Yeah he forgot xD
If anyone who plays this game still is struggling with this when the second ape comes literally just spam firecrackers on it till you can death blow you don’t even have to hit the brown one once.
