He's a friend of my family runs a Vette. Hick's racing out of Houston. The track told him to never come back. It was BS. He was the one who blew up a $80,000 engine.

Congrats! In 1989 I bought an 88 IROC, and I loved it. Just don't lean on the doors when they're open or they will start to sag. lol. But it's nothing a floor jack under the door won't fix. When my doors got to where they sagged a little and didn't like to close right, I opened the door and took a floor jack with a 2x4 on it so it didn't hurt the paint, and I jacked up on the door a little, and it fixed them. There's nothing a little Duct tape, a jack, and a hammer can't fix. lol.

My first truck was a 93 shortened reg cab s-10 2.8 v-6 manual. In 95' with help from Walkies rod shop had a low mileage Corvette tuned port engine and matching auto trans put in the truck. Changed out weak rearend. Small cam, larger injectors and a hotter ignition. And cold ac. Bel tech drop 3 front 5 back. Magnaflow mufflers with old school turn downs behind back wheels just barely showing. Was my daily driver 5yrs. Loved red lights. Traction bars and lead weights that fit perfectly in rear frame. The square body s-10s are the best.
awesome, hard top with a sun roof. can't get any more 80's than that! i've had half a dozen firebirds and i've loved them all. my current 83 was a v6 hard top but now it's my first LS swap. they're great cars... she's a keeper. she totally digs it. "best day ever" she said

The oil pump stop working while I was at a light . I was looking right at the gauges . I immediately shut it off . Still wasn’t fast enough. Had to replace the engine. I’m from Indiana and I was in South Carolina. I told the mechanic get a rebuilt motor . Funny part to me was it cane from my state . Jasper motors in Indiana . 4,500$ by the time I drove off in it . Expensive vacation.

Idk if u picked a motor I Recommend a LS Single turbo JUST do to the fact u dnt have to do much to make 1000hp & it's also semi buget and their is plenty of replacement motors if needed it's a good solid platform for her to learn how to work on aswell so cool....👍👍
