I saw mo stop by my bird feeder, he ate three sunflower seeds and then ran away at 5:20 pace.
Desmond Stephen this needs more likes
🤣
Mo needs to see this one:0
Damn that’s hilarious
LMSAOOOO
Thank you for the food-diet info. I started running in my 30s, and I enjoyed more the long distance running. I am almost age 60 and a grandmother, just started running again. I’m watching all the videos you’ve shared to help me become inspired.
Mo is a total legend, there should be a statue of him somewhere in London
Lenny K it would be pretty cheap too! There's not much to him😂
Kev Walker he was born there but he is British
Kev Walker bro chill your like 7, he runs for Britain, and grew up there. He's also a citizen which legally makes him British.
Lil’ Pipster no
With a little place to put candles cause I worship him...
When I trained for a marathon, I would eat a giant 2/3 lb burger the night before my Saturday long run and it worked really well. One time I ate that, then woke up and did a 20 mile run without even eating breakfast before.
Mo...aside from being one of the very fastest for the entire history of mankind, you are an absolutely great guy, and I appreciate your sharing to help the rest of us live and run even better.
Well, that’s more or less what I eat. Toast with jam, coffee for breakfast, lunch is rice with fish and fruit, dinner could be spag bol, chicken and rice, etc. I think my diet’s quite nice but I could do with eating less red meat. I like running around 5k at low pace and I feel good, keep my weight down nicely. Mo seems like such a nice humble guy.
Red meat is the healthiest food on the planet. You've been brainwashed, unfortunately.
This internet is great. The best athletes in the world sharing there tricks on RUclips 🤩
Thank you so much, brother. I really appreciate hearing this from you. Your such an awesome runner, the glory of God is seen in your work.
May God bless you and your family.
5:14 im following you on this part :p but seriously this kind of video is awesome. Very informative and no random chatting that takes all your time of the day! Thanks and keep it up!
I love carbs too, but I'm three times his size.
No you ain’t so your 30stone nearly Yh or 189kg
@Sohum Pathak obese is what it is but he’s defo lieing
I love seeing your food vlogs..... You're soo humble that makes me watch uh again n again..🙌
Mo Farah needs to be featured by ESPN on a piece or two. Eliud Kipchoge as well. Cool video. I've done 5 marathons, I'm currently getting ready for the Chicago Marathon next year. I wish I could eat a big meal like Mo and then go run after, he's got really good genetics. For me my pre-race meal consists of at 3:00 a.m. is 3-4 slices of pizza, 3 cups of coffee, 2 sugar free energy drinks, 2-3 G2 gatorades. I try to give myself a 4 hour window for the digestion that by 7:00 a.m. all the food I ate will be ready for energy. I know Pizza is not the healthiest or the easiest option on my stomach but that's what worked for me. When I'm on the road to do some of the Marathons in a hotel room with no kitchen I just order Pizza the night before. I can't binge eat the night before like a lot of runners can because I know I'll get hungry mid way through the race. Idk how they do it anyway and not get hungry. More power to them.
thank you for sharing your life to all young...generations
bless you more
Mo is a king at long distances
Thanks Mo! This was an awesome video!!!
Just watched this, thank you for the insight Mo. One question I have, which I think you could answer, is, how do you structure your training during Ramadan, do you adapt to fasting or do you make up for the fasting in the off-season? Cheers.
Mo you are one of life's winners 🖒

Don't try something new the morning of a race.
JC L I know I eat every day the same in the morning and it is healthy too
Tim Vandevelde How did it go
Tim Vandevelde i have a state champion ring for cross country, pr 16:52
Blood transfusion from higher altitude will work better
Mo, what's the importance of staying flexable? What stretches do you do daily.
Steven Brown First step is to gain mobility and then flexibility- if your joint isn't mobile then there is no point in stretching the muscle. Mobility is residual- flexibility is derived from that.
Steven Brown he did a video of his stretches and warm ups. He believes dynamic stretches are better than static ones.
Great Video! MO THE LEGEND
You are amazing Mo Farah if I was to eat for 25 minutes or even 30 minutes before running I would get a stomach cramp. It is unfortunate that is just how my body works.
I see, I should be grateful to god that I never puke or have stomach cramps, I directly eat before running. High intensity sessions too
@@GammaFZ Yes that is very lucky that you do not get any stomach cramps during high intensity workouts
Depends on the size of the meal. I think moe eats small meals before a run
I'm your big fan bro , you have to achieve many medals in future ,god bless
we will respect mo
I pray for happiness all over the world
You realize you're judging the diet of one of the best distance runners of all time? Reminds me of those guys who were correcting Usain Bolt's strength training techniques in one video, really? Don't try to fix something that ain't broken... These guys know what they're doing, and I'm sure they have some kind of nutritional specialists behind them, along with physiotherapists etc to keep them on top of the game. Their bodies go through immense training and stress, and they need the right fuel to recover from the damage that's happening. And plant based diet just won't cover that, end of story.
Everyone human being is an experiment of one. General principles often apply across the board however training specificity dictates nutritional needs. There's no absolutes.Period.
Many of the ultra marathon runners are vegan, Scott Jurek is probably the Greatest ultra marathon runner ever and he is a staunch vegan. I agreed with everything you said up until your comment about the vegan diet. I'm a meat eater myself
Ultimately just find what works for you.
Well, you're last sentence is quite incorrect. Almost all Kenyan runners eat a plant based diet. Not much meat
Mo great to here off a hero of mine i really enjoy your tips.I have a 10 year old son who loves running and is showing great potential.Could you tell us what sort of training you did as a youngster and how many days you would run per week,i certainly dont want to under train him or overtrain him either, thx
Thanks for that. I found it really tricky to think of what to have after a workout since it's quite vital to get it right. Nice to hear you have a sweet tooth as well
Mo, this was wonderful and very informative!Thank you
Great advice Mo, thank you so much👍
You are a great example of how athletes like me can eat a healthy diet
this guy is such an inspiration ..... hats off to u sir
Big thanks for advices Sir Mohammed
Dhammmal mo frah is back of track
privilege to learn from the one and only Mo!
For someone to get 2 gold medals on the 5000 and 100000 meter run you are superhuman :)
0:35 'Some scrambled eggs, some porridge, some toes...'
I get the feeling this man could eat/drink whatever he damn well pleases and he'd still be an absolute beast
ur my fav runner Mo Farah!
Nice Hoody Sir. Still waiting for the launch of the Mo Bot range! you know it makes sense.
Absolute legend.
Bestest runner of world
Mo, I thought you loved frosted mini wheats for breakfast.
Sound advice. I can't imagine going on a long run on just a couple of pieces of toast with a bit of butter and Nutella. But it works for him obviously.
john guzman I go on long runs for my hs off of just a single banana and a lot of water the night before
@@stevenciervo7384Don't forget the importance of the protein shake as part of your daily diet. Running tends to destroy muscle tissue, and carbs are not going to rebuild it. Therefore, make it a point to have a protein shake within an hour of completing your long distance workouts. Grilled chicken is an excellent choice.
the 25 minute window advice is top stuff
Mo, one of the most successful runners of all time, eats plenty of protein, carbs, and meat. Would love to hear what the "youtube vegan diet experts" have to say about that.
Whats your training schedule during Ramadan?
He doesn't run during it. ?!
Ran a dan...

My favourite runner
I can eat and run 30 min after easily as well. Main thing is not to have lots of fluid before
Mo is the man
What about eating vegetables?
Vegetables won’t do anything for him maybe just screw up his digestion. Vegetables aren’t as important as you think

Seeing no one responded, I'll tell you what I've learned, hard effort 2 steps in two steps out, easier effort two in three out, the later switches the hips, the former you have to switch every so often. Hope this helps

Hey Mo,will you please make a video/series on beginners guide for runners.
I am fan of sir mo farah
I like your mentality, now fancy diets or superfoods, just normal, cheap supermarket foods. Some people should look at you for an example for health improvements or something like that.
Can u do a video on what to stay away from and what is good based on events and what is good in general
Like just as a competitive runner in general
Why new video is not coming .Just thinking bout it
Love u mo
Here before 100k
I like his merch trademark, its so MJ like. XD
Like the way he doesn't complicate his diet
MO you are God gift
It would be interesting to hear your macros.
I.e., roughly how many calories and grams of carbs, protein and fat do you eat each day?
Mo is my idol
Hey Mo, what are your thoughts on using fats rather than carbs as ones prefered fuel for long distance running (Marathon and above)?
Muito boa suas dicas , já ajudam para melhorar no meus treinos
Awesome video!!
During my training he ended up with a lot of pain in the muscles, even though it is not a lot of work load. Could you give me a recommendation for muscle recovery? Do I need to change my diet? or should I take any supplements for muscle recovery? Should I take cold baths? ... and one more doubt. Where can I get a jacket with the "Mo" logo? Thank you.
ENDUROX R4 muscle recovery
How do you get back to running after a long period, like 1-2 months, of not running?
Could you please Sir suggest what pro-portion of carbohydrates and proteins is optimal for about 8 hours of walking and 1 hour of running per day. Thanks I wish You and your family Best .

Thanks a lot, God bless you
I am still a student, so I can only get my run in at 3:00 after school, what should I eat for lunch and breakfast the days of speed workouts, long runs, critical velocity, and maintenance runs?
