Great to have the channel back! Off topic for a second....RMC have confirmed that they are working on an indoor dark ride coaster!!! Also, Huss were at AT last week, think we could be getting a breakdance 5 to replace Enterprise....you heard it here 1st. 👍
This is amazing, the amount of research and work that goes into your builds is incredible, thank you so much for taking the time to turn a bunch of cartoon pixels into such beautiful works of art.
I think this is my favorite Flume you have made due to how much it works with the terrain and I love that first drop that is covered. As you said it is a false drop in that it is not the largest drop but guests dont know that as you cant see any part of the drop before. Really well done
Oh! I absolutly love this! The layout is just amazing with great use of the terrain. The atmosphere of the zone is absolutely lovely, and how about that STUNNING view you get of the park while riding this? Love! 😍
Name for the Mine Train: Escape from Wild Mountain I've been following this quietly. You have a nice voice, and it's fun to see how much detail you put into this. It's interesting to see you think about everything froma realistic point of view and has made me start watching Planet Coaster videos again. (A game I'd love to get good at, eventually)
glad you're back! love this log flume, everything just fits just right. one little thing I noticed is that you missed out on some fencing in the queue at 18:39 on the right hand side of your cursor.
I love that you've put temporary construction stuff in for the coaster, it's such a silly detail but I really enjoy it! Also, when you were showing the water trough, I noticed that there's some fence missing from the queue (overlooking the lower section of queue)
I will need to go and check that out.. someone else pointed it out too. I jave a feeling that this is the section is silently fixed, but this is me.. that section could be anywhere 🤣
Great Adventure was the Six Flags park you were thinking of with Kingda Ka and the log flume building. Great America, though, has two log flumes with interlocking drops. They also each have circular, moving load/unload stations that keep the logs/boats moving at all times. It's pretty fascinating.
The first name for the mine train coaster that comes to my mind is Runaway Mountain Coaster. I feel as though it could fit the theme and I like the cheesiness of having the word “coaster” at the end as there are plenty of roller coasters irl that do it and it adds on to the name overall!
Hey chacho , glad to see you back , I also think that the mine train roller coaster should be called. Andy's marvelous mine way, I know its really random but I think its ok, keep up the work. Bye .
Nice call out to my home park Six Flags Great America - if you ever make it this way let me know. Sad to say that both the log flume and boats have been shut down and overgrown through covid
You make sound like your an theme park architect it's just a game all these details 😂 nothing will spill or fall apart just have fun but nice video anyway
Just very careful placing of some very carefully selected scenery.. And you also need to turn the various collision options off in the main menus too...
I’m shooting myself in the foot by giving you this name cause I’ve named a mine train that way for my Simple Park series, but I want to give it to you too ! Miner Matty’s Tank Engine Anyone who have seen the latest episode of Eden Gardens on Iron Matty’s channel knows why this is funny 🤣
You're very correct.. The thing I have here is that it is a UK park but being built for US audiences (60% of my viewers are in America) there is a disparity between what the UK builds and US expects...
There are a few issues with you Flume. 1. Evacuations can't happen at the bottom of drops. They only occur on the lift hills, the base of the lifts, or on the top of drops if there is a brake. Anything in the water when the pumps shut off will continue to flow with the current until it either reaches the station or the bottom of a lift. 2. There needs to be a larger reservoir for the water than the one you have mid ride. That isn't enough water to fill the trough when the pumps are on. If this was a real park you can not use the lake water for the ride because the ride water needs to be treated with chemicals and that water can not mix with the lake water. The ride needs its own water aource. Tons of environmental problems if the treated water mixes with the lake water. 3. The pumps need to be at every lift hill. Whether it be the main pumps or the show pumps for the drops. Plus there needs to be a filtration area at the pumps to keep debris from getting sucked up and clogging the pumps. This is usually outside under the first lift where the pumps pull the water from. Look on Google Earth at the Flume from Busch Gardens Tampa. It's a little hard to see but it's under the first lift hill.
Some interesting points.. and some responses.. 1. Evacs might typically happen at the bottom of a lift hill, yes, you are correct. In the event of an e-stop, the boats will jam up behind each other, which can happen at any point on the ride, so evac from all points is advisable, but not essential. The flume at alton for example did NOT have this, but there are ones out there that allow evacs at all heights. Particularly ones raised off the ground. Consideration also needs to be made that water can flow faster than the boats and the boats may run aground mid-course because of a lack of water available to take it to the next logical stopping point. 2. True for the US. Not for the UK. Water does not have to be treated to be used. Advisable, yes. Required. No. Stormforce 10 at Drayton Manor is an example of a flume using lake water. Loggers Leap at Thorpe also used lake water connected to external water bodies. Therefore the reservoir in mine acts purely as that. An overflow reservoir. Not main storage. That bit was clear in my commentary. 3. The pumps are my weakest point here. I only have experience of loggers leap, flume at alton, tiger rock at chessington and colorado boat at gardaland, which this flume is based on. I don't have enough information to challenge this point. The working assumption with mine is that it is built into the ground under the lift hill and doesn't need to be on show. Partly because including it for a game that doesn't use them is slightly overkill anyway. Sometimes things can be left to be implied. The filters on CB at garda are tiny in comparison to the one you point out at BGT. So, I can't say for sure that your points are incorrect as it is different around the world. They are largely already in line with how this is built anyway. So while I won't completely debunk your points, they also aren't entirely correct either. The flume here is built with the design documents I have to hand from my old job. So while they may not represent a previously observed reality, they are, at the very least, plausible reality; meaning that you might not have seen this configuration but that doesn't make mine incorrect.

@@toast3633 Exactly what I commented on TPW vid yesterday. Will be interested to see, fingers crossed.

I like the name Smokey Mountain Whistler for the mine train
This is one of my favourite log flumes that I have seen, great job!
Name: Runaway Falls
Love the absolute detail on this. You never cease to amaze!

Susquehanna mine train may be fun, kinda feels rustic
Name for Log Flume should be Loggers Gorge. The reference to Loggers leap, plus maybe a canyon, as a mine train is a classic western ride.
These rides just come together perfectly every time...
I dont even know how I do it either.. it just.. happens...

Did anyone else notice a part of the log flumes que line was missing a fence, or am I trippin?

There are too many Six Flags parks... no wonder they are going under haha
@@Nerdchacho you're not wrong lol. And they all feel and look the same these days thanks to the oversaturation of IPs like DC and Loony Tunes

My log flumes never look that good, I am taking some ideas from you. You are so creative. Thanks

Awesome video as they always are. My name suggestion for the coaster is Miners Mayhem. Look forward to seeing next week's episode :))
love the name

9:25 - centripetal force, but centrifugal is a very common misconception so it's chill.
