Homelander can only tell when someone is lying through bodily responses such as an elevated heartrate or differences in breathing. Cam probably exhibited “proof” of his lying because he was scared shitless.

Probably, when he saw proof and evidence, he didn't think it was necessary to really focus in and use his powers. That's the way his powers are presented in the show, small details like Edgars' heartbeat he has to focus in on, but a explosion in the general vicinity of him he can hear immediately. Its the same reason why he couldn't immediately kill Hughie his hearing was impaired from the singing and all the flashing lights overwhelmed his senses impairing his ability to focus. Doesn’t matter if you have x ray vision or be a human lie detector when your super senses can easilly overwhelm you.
Firecracker is gonna takedown Sage.. Sage maybe smart but she’s arrogant and is gonna underestimate her. A-Train’s probably gonna conspire to have Sage removed.
The shot at everyone slowly approaching Cole is haunting. Like you are surrounded by a bunch of super beings who are ready to beat the shit out of you. And in the top of that you get mocked by Fuckin Deep.

Essentially, Cameron should have seen some kind of retaliation coming from a mile away as soon as he shut down quite literally the only outlet for all of her stress from working at Vought. I knew as soon as Cameron “dumped” her and got into it with The Deep that he was not long for this world.
I don't want to take the blame away from Ashley here. I always saw her as a Gray character, and the best of the worst if you will. But after she did this, she crossed a line that puts her down there with the other scumbags like the Deep

I know he's meant to be a joke character at this point, but some actually effective showings of his powers would be nice. Like that scene in the water before with the sharks and whale, but without a punchline, and he actually gets something done.
Well this is fitting since Deep is a spineless supe and will bend over to whatever Homelander says. Even Homelander called him out on his cowardice the first episode where he doesnt refuse to blow A-Train and doesnt stand up to Homelander.
Coleman wasn't a good person in the slightest. But imagine the horror of dedicating your life and career to being the most loyal, supportive human ally of the Seven, one of the most important, only to be gagged, falsely accused, cuckholded and beaten to death by those very same people. And in your last moments, you don't even know why.
I think Homelander 100% does know A Train is the leak but just doesn’t care enough yet to proceed with going after him, I think he and Sage have both noticed A train’s lack of interest in killing when Homelander orders him too and are going to continue to test him in these kind of scenarios until A train snaps and retaliates against them.
My best guess is that homelander is finally practicing what he preaches about "supes shouldn't kill other supes" so that they can all be aligned to take over the U.S, or maybe he's doing it cause he wants a better world for ryan/supes. idk tho, still feel like he would've had no issue gutting A-train since he should definitely know about him taking the V. Maybe he's just too unhinged to care
Sage knows and probably thinks it’s more useful to have an “in” with The Boys than turning A Train over at the moment. She could secretly bug him or she could plant false intel that A-Train brings to MM that puts them on a wild goose chase or killed while Vought does something else.
I feel Homelander is the sort of person who would consider breaking A-Train's resistance more satisfying than just killing him. Him and the Deep are the last of the Seven, and I think their submission to him is psychologically satisfying.
While it's unclear if Homelander knows A-Train's the leak, Sage 100% does, but that begs the question, why hasn't she ratted him out yet, what does she have to gain from it?

Honestly, I thought for a moment that A-Train in a moment of kindness was going to grab Coleman and run away from the tower. I think Homelander and Sage know about his betrayal but they want to test his mental state to the maximum.
I was so sad to find out this was the end of Coleman. I found his character hilarious, obviously a parody of some notable opinionated news anchors and his dynamic with Ashley was funny.
With the way this show literally never holds back, it was unnerving to not see what they did to Cameron or his body after. Maybe they show it in the next episode but it was honestly more haunting to hear a character you’ve seen all 4 seasons get killed off screen like that.
Sister sage is the most clever woman in the world. No way she was outsmarted by Choo Choo and Baldie Girl. For what it is worth, I will miss Cameron Coleman. He was a good man and tried to remain independant and objetive in his work. He didn't deserve that.

Tbh, it's pretty clear at this point that Sister Sage knows A-Train is the leak. I'm also inclined to believe she hasn't told anyone else, namely Homelander. If Sage told Homelander, A-train wouldn't be alive, period. He doesn't have the self control to let anyone that pisses him off live long enough to fulfill any type of plan. Sage has her own plans for A-train, possibly as some sort of contingency or scapegoat. Either way, it's a pretty safe bet A-Train is safe for now. If she wanted him dead he absolutely would be, and probably in one of the worst ways imaginable given Homelander's mental state.
Cameron was a disgraceful reporter who acted as a sycophantic and smug propaganda machine for Vought. I personally don’t like him much. Also, the Supes probably killed Coleman and let Firecracker take his place as the face of their propaganda.

You know I wish they actually showed Cameron getting beat up but based on the group surrounding him i say The Deep (obviously gave the first gut punch) Firecracker (gave the kick) Cate and Sam (Cate was walking towards him and im guessing Sam also got a punch or a kick in) Black Noir ll (Also gathered around with Firecracker) Tek Knight (Maybe he was just watching but he was walking towards Cameron so I think he also killed him) I counted 12 hits between the 6 supes so im guessing each got two shots at Cameron each. i know they said they want the two shows to be as independent from each other as possible but with cate and sam getting this close to homelander, i'm so curious what's actually gonna happen and if there's gonna be some deeper tie-ins and implications than i thought

Tbh, it's pretty clear at this point that Sister Sage knows A-Train is the leak. I'm also inclined to believe she hasn't told anyone else, namely Homelander. If Sage told Homelander, A-train wouldn't be alive, period. He doesn't have the self control to let anyone that pisses him off live long enough to fulfill any type of plan. Sage has her own plans for A-train, possibly as some sort of contingency or scapegoat.
Either way, it's a pretty safe bet A-Train is safe for now. If she wanted him dead he absolutely would be, and probably in one of the worst ways imaginable given Homelander's mental state.
Looking back on it Cameron Coleman did feel like a really accurate name for a News Host/Political Commentator

You know I wish they actually showed Cameron getting beat up but based on the group surrounding him i say The Deep (obviously gave the first gut punch) Firecracker (gave the kick) Cate and Sam (Cate was walking towards him and im guessing Sam also got a punch or a kick in) Black Noir ll (Also gathered around with Firecracker) Tek Knight (Maybe he was just watching but he was walking towards Cameron so I think he also killed him) I counted 12 hits between the 6 supes so im guessing each got two shots at Cameron each. I know this is kinda useless but I thought it would be fun.
