I first saw her with Pentatonix and thought she was phenomenal! Apparently two of AGTs judges told her she wasn’t untalented but she needed a group, she couldn’t do it on her own. Boy were they wrong! This was good!
The hollywood elite machinery is pre-manufactured. The friend, the son, the partner, the wife. If you are not related or recommended you are out. This also means of course that you cannot expect these people to have real talent, they are manufactured stars, they are made. Real talent is discarded today.
Its a good thing some people can still make it without going into the grinding machine.
Lindsey wanted to do dance lessons and violin lessons when she was little. Her parents asked her to choose, because she had siblings, and those lessons are expensive. She chose music, but included dance into it. She has worked with both Derek hough and Mark Ballas, from dancing with the Stars. She actually competed on dwts, with Mark, came in 2nd. She is ridiculously flexible. During the show she kicked herself in the head during one of the dances. Derek has been in a few of her music videos as a dance partner. She collaborated with Mark and his wife for a song, and in the video, they danced while she played the violin and Mark played the flamenco guitar. She has also collaborated 3 times with PTX.
I first came across Lindsey Stirling and she was just starting. In fact, it was her collaboration with Pentatonix that introduced me to that group.
You really need to check out her live performance of crystallized. That is just out of this world. And you should really see her new video 'Snow Waltz'.
This is SUCH a fantastic colab, definitely one of my favorites I’ve seen! I really like Halestorm, but this is easily my favorite of Lzzys vocals. The note she holds at the end has such perfect control as she eases in and out of the notes as she sustains it. Lindsey’s violin skills blow my mind. I enjoy seeing a person who plays an instrument become versatile with how they perform like including some dance. Mairead who is the fiddler in Celtic Women bounds all over the stage.

If you've never seen Halestorm in concert, try it. Their stage energy just might change your mind about them, they are awesome live.

You should see their appearance on Good morning America. Both live and *killing it*. But the audience of mid western moms were like huh. It’s both amazing and omg at the same time. They nailed it! Lindsey’s version on tour with Amy Lee was also epic !!!!

I've watched her since she performed on AGT. She went back and performed with Shin Lim when he did an encore with his magic on AGT and they rocked it.
Moon Trance was the first Lindsey Stirling song I ever heard years n years ago and it still gives me goosebumps today so would definitely recommend checking that one out.
I own a guitar signed by Lzzy and the rest of Halestorm. I've been a massive fan of her since 2009, also I've been a fanboy of Lindsey Stirling since she first competed on America's Got Talent and her song Crystalize. This was a song that blew me away when I first heard it and still does to this day. Likewise Amy Lee of Evanescence was my first crush and the fact that these three know each other, Lzzy and Amy specifically tour a lot together, makes me happy. This is also why to this day I long for a Dreamcatcher (or at least Siyeon) cover of one of their songs.

I’ve never heard of this song before and I love it. Lzzy Hale is one of my favorite rocks vocalists. You should check Halestorm out in concert live. It might change your mind on them. Her vocals are on point live!

Great reaction! This was one of the first songs Lindsey wrote with lyrics and she couldn't have picked a better vocalist. This is a really complex song from the writing, arranging, performing standpoint and a great example of the multi-hyphenate that Lindsey is. Writer, arranger, director, performer, editor, etc., etc. Her skills and talents boggle the mind! This is the very personal story of Lindsey's episode with anorexia and depression.
Take a look at some of her recent work. Unbelievably, she's gotten even better!

Lindsey is amazing. I really haven't seen much violin in contemporary music except for Kansas, Noel Pointer and Jean Luc Ponty. The last three tended to be more fusionesque
Talking about Lindsey Sterling and Evanescence, they did a nice collab on Evanescence's song Hi-Lo.
This song is about Lindsey's struggle with an eating disorder back in the day.
I've been following her since AGT and she is so amazing live as well. Highly recommend some of newer stuff like Til the Light Goes Out, Love Goes On and On ft Amy Lee, Lose You Now ft Mako (I warn you is a tear jerker, it's dedicated to her father, a band member (Gavi) and her niece who passed away) it's beautiful but so emotional.
Through you can't go wrong with any of her music.
Stirling stans might hate me for this....but this is the only song where the feature steals the spotlight. Lzzy is a titan.

Honestly, Lindsey has done so much more for violin than Yellowcard. Their time in the spotlight was short, probably in large part because they were kinda dickish (I met them and wasn't impressed).
