I have the same stats as you and more magic. The freeze isnt enough and he starts attacking while he has the buff up. Any explanation? Does your speed affects how quick the enemy catches up to you?
@@Exocrime (spoiler ) so basically, this game a rogue lite, but not like the other one, to complete a "run" you have to get to Edward ak the final boss, after him ( doesn't really matter of you kill him/ or he kills you ) the run will end ak the credits and the total time that you got since you started the run ( when you are a kid fighting rats), will be taken in consideration and fill up a time gage depending on the time you took ( less time = quicker run= more points added to the gage ). It will give you boosts for the next run and gives you dark tree points, ( you get 2ish if I remember at the start then you get one more when you kill the bandits family that make you grow up as adulte). I hope this was understandable.

Sword is kinda bad compared to ranged weapons, gives you an extra stat (range) and it's busted, noticed that he had 13 (idk if you can get more). And for the prince you know when he points his sword at you he gains stupid amount attack speed, in order to counter that you will have to use the thunderbolt and your ice thingy. I completed my first run ( didn't managed to kill Edward ) with the same build has his ( without the 10% increase from the dark skill tree ) in level around 250
this is way different now ... he attacks with 4.0 att speed now at the start. can't kill him anymore ( 2nd run) need a new guide

Worked for my 204 lvl ranger on my first run. Counter first haste buff with frostbolt, second with thunderbolt. Yay! 🎉

Boomboom arrows ( 200power one) u get as reward from ascending

@@xx-bk6vo no ti doesn't, he didn't show his dark skill tree, he has "born to shoot" so hella range. Speed only count when catching up to ennemies

Are you using range or melee? What are your total base stats? Without max dark points and boom boom arrows its ideal to have 90+ range and magic.
