Thanks for the video, but when I press Simplify(F6) nothing happens except for a brief appearance of the hourglass symbol. Any ideas? Edit: I've worked it out. The calculator needs to be in exact mode.
Excellent videos! I too love the HP50G. I know the software that you're using to simulate the HP50G and the Xournal program for annotating the lesson, but what are you using to record the screen and your voice while you narrate? (Thanks!)
Im not sure if you were just showing how dividing polynomials works or not, but simply clicking the factor button would have factored the whole equation without the need for division. Regardless, good video!

@billzimmerly - I think I now know. I think you're using the GTK recordmydesktop program. Either way, the HP50G videos are great!
Is there a flag I need to set to simplify?
Maybe you need to be in "Exact" mode?
