Each of these colors, individually, does look good with purple but is really hard putting them all together. I think you did a great job of it. Not a lot of brown which is what might be expected with them. Very bright and cheerful! Excited to see how it looks dry. Love you bunches, xoxoxoxooxoxoxo.
Idk if you're interested in this idea but here goes lol. You mention the casting resin on sale which made me think of this. Idk a thing about resin but would love a tutorial on the different types of resin and how to know which to use. Like how deep can each be used. Do you have to use them in 1"layers or could you do a 3"thick project all at once. I say this cause I mixed up a big ol mixing cup of resin and it got super hot and smelled so bad and turned hard real quick. That scared me off of ever using resin again lol. Having a really good do's and don'ts video would give me and I'm sure many others the confidence to try your Krystal resin. But it's just a suggestion as I know you're a very busy gal lol. By the way, I love this piece, its very pretty. There's just something about the contrast of the yellow and purple that is just so pretty.
I hear what you’re saying. I’ve done many videos on resin and the different types and what they’re used for, just not all in the same video. But it would be a good idea to do a video specifically on the types and show what it does. The reason your resin got hot and hard is because it flash cured. When you have too much resin in a cup for too long it flash cures and gets hot and starts to melt your cup. The more resin in the cup the less working time you have. I’ll do a video one day and explain all of it. Good idea.
Ahh Kanella, I was very worried about the colors as they aren't what I ever would have thought to use simply because I didn't think it would look good together. *However* when you showed us your painting from your viewpoint, WOW ! I was quite pleasantly surprised at how much these colors looked amazing together. I love watching the different color combos artists use because I'm so uncomfortable going outside my "comfort zone" with color palettes, and seeing colors used that I just can't imagine would be pretty or complementary is really so helpful. I learn so much from each video. You are appreciated, and your art is always beautiful (even when I start out watching with a stink face at certain colors, I end up in AWE every time 💜❤️🩷😊)
Many years ago when I first started watching your videos you mentioned that you once had a cake decorating business. I looked it up and was stoked by the artistry. My question today, do you ever do that now? Not as a business but for your friends and family.
Ha! That was so long ago. I started that after I gave birth to Lucas as a side job. It was so hard and time consuming. So no, I don’t do it anymore and never will. Sold all my supplies and never looked back 😂
I love the six colours you used but I’m not absolutely sure about the deep purple. It does however remind me of a fire when it first burns so maybe not so bad. Take care, keep safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
Totally off topic of this video but I followed your video on coasters and I loved it. I have made a few and looked for cork backing. My tiles are 4 1/2 " by 4 1/2 ". The corks are 4 by 4. What do i do now?
You can buy a sheet of cork and you’ll have to cut it to size. That will be a huge pain in the butt though as the cork can crumble when cutting. I suggest you find 4” tiles and stop using the other ones. More headache than what it’s worth.
Now that’s some serious shimmer! Beautiful!!
Very different, colorful and beautiful, Kanella!!!
I love the combination of colours. Its very alive!
Wonderful mix and match colours, love it😊
Beautiful and so uplifting. ❤
I love the fixes you did and think it looks like a brilliant sunset ❤❤
I love the colors, it’s beautiful
Very pretty!
Love how this turned out. The colours are gorgeous.
I love the colours, the pop is gorgeous. I do understand you reasons.
I love the combo a lot! So bright! Just gorgeous! Hope you had fun in FL!!! 🥰
I did!

I agree...purple and yellow are complimentary colors so combined make mud
But I didn’t get mud at all on this one and it dried beautifully
Very pretty 😍
I really like this! Bright, happy and very different! Love it💜♥️

The bottom left corner almost has a 3-D effect! I’m not crazy about the purple base with the other colors, but it’s still nice.
I would also like a video with the resin and how to use different ones. The painting I’m still on the fence about it. Love the colors though
I only use Krystal resin. I’d never use any other resin as I have a partnership with them and use their resin exclusively only.

How are colors mixed? Is it just water or do you use something else to mix the color to look shiny? 🤔 وجدآ احب أعمالك انتي مبدعه جدآ👏🏽👏🏽
See video 434 for a tutorial on how I mix my paints

The colours are pretty, but if someone buys it to go with their decor, that would be a worry.😊❤
Hahahah true
Uuummm. We all have a day once in a while. The purple doesn’t really go with the other colors. 🤷♀️
U covered the purple too much n the way u blew it out is just weird .... but i like the colors ! Ive been doing lots of fire in my dutch pours
I'm sorry not my cup of tea. But I like you.
