Agree kids are very difficult to shoot portraits and also get this trust is so cool. I have shoot lots of portraits of children.
I loved this talk - and the images.
BTW, it's not just film that kids haven't seen. Many/most haven't seen an SLR - and some of them at least are fascinated by them. Show them where the shutter is, and you'll have to prise the camera out of their hands! :-)
