    Your excitement is contagious! I initially subscribed to your channel for the luxury content. But goodness, your travel vlogs are where your creative talent really comes through. Thank you for showing us China through your eyes and I cannot wait to see the rest of your vlogs!

      Stop it, that is so kind of you to say🥹 I appreciate, I’m not able to commit to one niche because while I adore luxury bags, traveling and exploring new countries is definitely a passion of mine as well. So thank you for sticking around for the travel vlogs and for leaving such a sweet comment🥰 It really means a lot to me!

    The temples are so colourful and beautiful! What a feeling to actually be standing on the Great Wall of China - amazing - beautifully filmed as usual. It's such a joy that you are filming your trip, I can't wait to see more as I'm never likely to go there so thank you! 🤗

      The temples and the overall architecture in Beijing was so stunning and the Great Wall was obviously a highlight which I don’t think I would have seen myself experiencing, a few years back🥹 I am more than happy to be sharing China through my eyes and I’m so happy you enjoy the vlogs :)

    Another great video Lesley 😊😊. Generally speaking to avoid heat, travel south of the country in the winter months and north in the summer months so it won't be too cold / too hot. I did enjoy the ice sculpture festival in January though 😅😅.

      Thank you so much! Makes sense :) I did travel to Guilin and Yangshuo towards the end of my trip, so early/mid November and I feel like it was perfect, temperature wise. Still warm, but not too hot. Generally, I was so lucky with the weather throughout my trip🙌🏻

      @LesleyAdina my pleasure. Now they have opened up a 30 day visa free for many countries until the end of next year too 😂😂. Spring / autumn is the best time to travel to China although I remember doing the Great Wall years ago in September it was so hot that you could get sweat out of my short sleeved shirt and even the guide said it's not normally that hot in September. Glad you've had a good time and feel free to visit again 😉😊.

    If you like cities, go to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chongqing. If you like food, go to Chengdu or Chongqing, the food capital of the world. If you like beautiful scenery, go to the west, Sichuan, Qinghai, Xizang, Xinjiang and Yunnan

    You picked the right time to visit China for sure, late October and early November, so not hot nor cold, and not too crowded. Interesting video. 👍

    yeap, you're right, the jetlag didn't get to you 😂(天圆地方) literally translate into circle is heaven, square is earth. and that is displayed on a lot of the Chinese traditional architecture, and Interestingly enough, if you pay attention, you'll notice that same ideology is reflected on almost all, if not the traditional pair of chopsticks as well, if you look close enough 😀have fun for the rest of your trip!

    • @LesleyAdina
      @LesleyAdina  Месяц назад +1

      Thank you for sharing! That is super fascinating, and I’m glad I got the general gist of what our guide told us about the meaning of the circle and square shapes :) I am back home already, but will keep uploading vlogs from my China trip over the next couple of weeks!

    Aw I'm so sorry that the locals are acting so weird and taking your pictures so openly and rudely. I was thinking they're used to foreigners by now but maybe because you're so tall and have long blond hair they think you're a model?

    • @LesleyAdina
      @LesleyAdina  Месяц назад

      Haha probably, if they are not aware of the standards for models in Europe😅 I‘m sure it was the height. It was irritating at first but I got used to it and it kind of turned into a fun game, spotting people filming me.

    Most Americans and British have low population and big land. That’s totally different from China. That’s why they do things differently and live differently
