Thanks for introducing Duan Mu to me, they're so beautiful to look at. I think Moynat back under Ramesh Nair as creative director also did a lot of marquetry, but only with leather not mixed with wood

I feel there are a lot of similarities, not so much in terms of the designs (apart from that one trapezoidal shaped bag with that beautiful closure mechanism) but in how it seems like Duanmu is very under the radar but with impeccable craftsmanship and unique designs. Wow - the Duanmu bags were so beautiful and like nothing I've ever seen before! I also noticed what looked like silk scarves behind you in one bag shot, so I imagine they looked stunning too. Great vlog - I hope you have encouraged the owners of Duanmu to come to the UK with your great promo video (but with much cheaper prices for me 😂)
Haha, I wish😅🙌🏻 China mainland doesn’t have RUclips so realistically, no one at the brand will ever come across my video which is fine as it’s not the reason I filmed this. But yesss, their bags and other creations really blew me away and as you said, were like a breath of fresh air and like nothing I had ever seen before when it comes to handbags! They also do silk scarves, both 90x90 carrés as well as twillys. Looking back, I wish I had brought a twilly home with me as well but oh well. Very content with my bag charm🦋
I tried to navigate their online shop and somehow got to a drop-down menu in the check-out process that (in theory) did have a couple of options to have their bags shipped overseas. No idea if that actually works if you were to follow through with it. Also, the US wasn’t included, unfortunately. The closest options were Barbados and Antigua😅 Looks like a trip to Beijing or Shanghai ;) Sorry, not sorry to have given you the Duanmu bug. Their bags are works of art! I keep daydreaming about that one LV Capucines shaped leather bag with that beautiful opening mechanism🙌🏻

Does Duanmu ship to the US? I want to get one so bad... do I have to go to Shanghai?
