March 2022: It’s sad that Peanut has passed on, some months ago. I decided to watch this today. It’s very funny! Video excerpts plus “comments” by the piggies. Impressive and creative constructions of cardboard by GuineaDad. Well done. I love seeing Ms Peanut jumping the fence!
I have two boys. Thad (Thadeus) a chunky boi. Weighs about 3.5lbs. super lazy, chill, and loveable. Demands special treats and snuggle time. Kind of a hay rack bulldozer. Then there's old man Puff (scruffy puffy). Super energetic and demanding. Climbs the bars, yells for snacks, has old man medical issues, including poop impactions. All about the head scritchies. 💚
Jiji (my baby girl) loves bubbles from her water bottle! She will drink the entire thing just to watch all the bubbles. I hope to soon find out a way to make a bubble tube for her to watch and be happy with! She loves your liners and hides in the pocket to sleep away from her brother (a chinchilla) Chaxsim.
Thank you for sharing such precious kids..I have one and he just turned 7 years this month, and he's still gobbling up lettuce, fruits and hay. I still have the receipt from when I purchase him from Petsmart.
We have two girls: Lou Lou who we adopted ( with Thelma) from friends who changed jobs and we’re going to be away for days at a time. After Thelma passed we got Molly from the local rescue- she got a repertory problem and too passed so we got Bubbles from the rescue: she’s about 8 months now and bigger that Lou who is about 4 years old now. They are both very loving and funny.

You have PEAnut, and I have sweetPEA! Pea is one of three girls as well. She is a teddy. Her friends are Rosie, a crested american, and Sylvie, an abbysinnian. I love how they look so different but make a lovely combination . We like to refer to them as 'sisters'. Before I got Rosie and Sylvie, Sweetpea was already here with her actual sister, Sydney (who sadly got ill and you can work out the rest). I think having three is fun and all different personalities as well.
I had two guinea pig called Bambi and Thumper. Sadly, Thumper died so we needed to get Bambi a new friend. This is where Simba came in. We tried to introduce them slowly (we had a hutch with a run attached and we could block off the stairs to the top part of the hutch) but they were being very cheaky! You see Bambi had worked out if he pushed up the flap separating them he could sneak in and play with his new friend. This was a shock when I got home from school because I wasn't sure if they approved of each other yet. But when I opened the hutch they were snuggled up together. They have been best buddies since!
Kai is my oldest, turning 4 this May! He's chocolate tan in color with short hair and I call him my Snickers. Chocolate, caramel and nuts. He likes to stand and stare at me, hopeful for veggies. When I don't know what he wants, he chatters at me xD sometimes, he wants chin scratches, then runs away with a stunned look on his face. When going out of the home, he's the last in the sofa, and the last back in the cage. Not big on being touched, unless I finally get him on my lap, then he splats. Twister is my Halloween baby, born late October! He's an abby with black, white and orange-y spots. A tiny terror who also likes to stare, and who can't sit still anywhere (unless there's food!). The biggest talker and likes to jump up and down from his hammock, hoping he'll get snacks and a "you're so great at jumping!" T-rexes on the sofa, usually the first coming for food, loves chin scratches and discovering new things, I often lose him out of sight! And that's why his name is Twister.

I buy heavy small ceramic bowl at the thrift stores to prevent the tipping the food over. They have a great selection. The ones I found were even made in France.

I wish my piggies are as interactive as her! I have two males and one just wants to wonder everywhere and not be picked up and the other will let you cuddle with him but I think that's just because I've had him since he was two month old.
I have 5 girls. The "fearless leader" of my herd is Cinnamon. She is my oldest and largest piggie. She loves Romaine lettuce but won't eat the parts that aren't green enough (like the stem) and she HATES Broccoli. She isn't a big hay eater and prefers veggies. She definitely let's me know when she's hungry. I also have Roxy, Nutmeg, Dumpling, and Gremlin. Roxy thinks she's the boss and is always rumble strutting around. She is very photogenic and loves pretty much any veggie (except Broccoli. No one likes Broccoli) she is the smartest of all if my pigs and I'm planning on teaching her tricks. Nutmeg is a bit mean. She always makes sure she gets the food and will Chase everyone away from her veggies (because of this I have to make several spaced out piles of veggies.) She also really like veggies and is the biggest hay eater of the herd. She isn't very photogenic and doesn't really like to be touched. She prefers to snuggle up in a fleece hide and take a nap. Dumpling is a relatively new addition. She really likes Spinach and is still quite shy. She like to hide in things like blankets, under pillows, and cuddle sacks although the one I have tends to get flat and no one Really uses it. She has an "ear ring" that she likes to show off (she has an ear tag, so she can be shown in ARBA shows. I don't have any plans to show her as it's just way to stressful. But my mom says it's best to just leave it in since we have shown piggies in the past and they have no problems with it and it can actually cut up there ear trying to remove it.) Gremlin (or Gremmie) is the baby of the group and the newest addition. She likes to follow Dumpling around and is picked on a bit by the older three. Nothing to bad she just gets chased around a bit. She obviously loves veggies and seems to like pellets the most out of everyone. She also LOVES her crinkle tunnel and just any tunnel like hide. She is still quite shy but is curious and coming around quite well.

Her name suits her because she is the color of chocolate & caramel & is definitely nutty! She is a very happy & adventurous girl! She loves to popcorn & gets the zoomies! Her favorite veggie is coocumber! 🥒 So, we have girls that are as sweet as their names. We absolutely adore them.
GuineapPig Hacks and life Get to a vet immediately if you think something is going on. You can call a vet, or something. I have four guinea pigs and one of them squeaks really loud and a lot. She drinks lots of water because she is a thirsty piggy, maybe if your guinea pig does not have enough water and squeaks a lot, it may not be a respiratory problem, it may just be that they are very happy and need lots of water:) be sure to give them lots of water. 💜
You should make a bonding video because my piggies are new and they won't come out of their beds. Only when i am in my bed. I want them to feel comfortable at their new home. They just left their mom and had a connection to our cousins and its back to square one. We would like some help!!!

I have 3 girls :) Daisy, all white and red eyes, always look like she is having an existential crisis. Makes faces when given tomato and apple, and have to check the other piggies food before she even touches it. She is a skittish piggy, but it has gotten better over the last year. I am allowed to touch her sometimes on the head. Goldy, black and orange stripes, is the queen of the cage. She is a rather chill pig, which always holds her head high. She can be bitchy to other piggies, but she loves her humans so much, that she licks inside lips at times :O Lady, black with beige spots, lives for food and snacks. We got her with Goldy and was told she was the child of Goldy. She is always hungry and eats what the others don't. She loves all humans, as long as you give her snacks. She was the first to start licking, but she is a nibbler as well. She nibbles when we are slow on snacks and really hard at nail clipping. She is the baby of the group, and have small "fights" with Daisy from time to time about who is number 2. Being number 1 is only the queen, Goldy.
